The hotel is located very central, just a few minutes away from the river but at the same time in a very quiet street. The breakfast buffet was very delicious and varied. Also the staff was very helpful and we felt really well. The room was of good size, comfortable beds, coffee, tees and water available, we had everything we needed.

A very minor "inconvenience" would be that the room was very warm although the heating wasn't on, so we needed to keep the windows tilted during the day to keep the room at a more moderate temperature. This might apply mostly for the rooms on the top floor?

Great breakfast, close to everything but still on a quiet street where the tourist hordes haven´t found there way yet, friendly staff, with a 24 hour reception. Big rooms

No AC although they did provide a fan, If the summer heat hits I think it might get very warm in there we were lucky and it wasn´t that hot outside but it still felt stuffy inside. We had a room facing the street not a problem for us but i can imagine a light sleeper would get disturbed by outside noices.

This hotel is having an excellent location in the Gdansk old town, but quite calm in the night...All attractions are within a short distance, the main train station is also at a distance of around 15 min. walk...The hotel is in an old building, but having a lift to serve the upper floors. Breakfast was good and workable with limited choices. Reception desk was quite helpful. Our west facing Room on 4th floor was good but without AC, quite hot during the afternoon although a table fan was provided. Overall it's a nice and comfortable hotel, but rather costly to some extent. An ATM is available next to the reception counter.

Width of the single bed was rather short, about 60-70 cm in width. Main entrance stairs to the hotel could be a big problem for the aged people, particularly with luggage. Didn't like the policy of full payment for the stay during check-in.

This was our second stay at Celestin Residence, and once again, everything was great! The location in the city center is super convenient, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay for breakfast this time because we had to leave very early — but last time we did, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Gdańsk!

Bed was very comfy. Decor was nice. Tall ceilings in nice old building. Bathroom was very modern and functional. Free use of a Safe. Decent coffee/tea options in room (inc. decaf). Breakfast was great - very relaxed with much selection and wasn't busy. Location perfect - 5min walk onto the front. ...15 min walk to the train/ bus station (or 20 zloty Uber/ 50 zloty taxi).

There is a bar next door, so small amount of street noise from front (late on). Of course, this is not hotel's fault. Not a big issue but if you are a light sleeper, you may wish to ask hotel for a room away from front.

-We really enjoyed the breakfast: it was versatile (veggies, fruit, warm breakfast, cereals, bread, local specialties, vegan milk) with good coffee. -The staff at the reception was super helpful and friendly! The first room we stayed in was toward the street, and unfortunately it was quite loud in the night, because a new bar had just opened downstairs. Bar patrons were also smoking outside on the street and that's why we couldn't air the room in the evening either. But the staff was super helpful and were able to move us to another room (not facing the street). That room had incredible views over the rooftops! -the beds were also comfortable and the bathrooms seemed fairly newly renovated. -superb location: very central, close to the river and old town, but in a mucher quieter, not so busy street

-the noise and cigarette smoke from the street (first room toward street) -sound proofing between second room (on top floor) and its neighbouring room was not very good, and one could hear what people were saying next door

Loved the location - everything was within easy walking distance. Bed was comfortable and room had everything I needed. Shower was excellent. Surprisingly quiet over a busy weekend in the run up to Christmas. Staff were all very friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Gdansk.

Nothing really, but if I'm being really picky it would've been nice to have a socket closer to the bed to charge my phone 😁

Excellent location, within walking distance of all the sights of the Old city, the Island of warehouses Wyspa Spichrzow and Olovyanka with the AmberSky wheel. Easy to get to and from the airport and train station. Very responsive and friendly stuff. Varied breakfast. Clean rooms, great view of St. John's Church from the window.

The floor carpet needs very good cleaning.

Location is amazing! Walking distance to the 'attractions' in the old town. Room was spacious and clean. The receptionist on our check-in was friendly and helpful. Superb quality for money!

The receptionist during our check-out was quite rude. I didnt feel the decorative velvet accessories on the bed (cushions and blanket/throw) were hygienic.

Just few minutes walk from Motlawa river embankment. Good breakfast even if something extra could be added.

No air conditioning (outside more than 30 degrees) A little bit disorganised about cleaning. It’s on demand which is ok. But room was not cleaned first day despite of our request to clean it. The other days we did not ask for cleaning but when we returned from breakfast they were cleaning our room.
