The chateau is beautiful outside and inside, impressively decorated throughout in a style of the past. We received a most warm welcome upon our arrival and were served drinks in the large park in front of the chateau. As we decided to bring our own dinner, we were graciously served silverware and dinner plates. Our stay was very quiet, and our spacious room with a private bathroom was most comfortable. We were greeted again in the morning and had an excellent breakfast. Our charming hosts were so very helpful and informative. The photos, ratings and comments on Booking.com say it all.

We were welcomed by one of the owners who was very nice and helpful. We felt at home instantly. We were served a welcome drink in the beautiful park and he provided us with great suggestions of restaurants for dinner. The beautiful castle is situated in a very quiet area. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, bread from the local baker, home made jam and also here a charming, personal welcome and attendance by one of the owners. We had the impression that the owner family is running this B&B with a lot of passion and dedication. We would come back anytime.

It’s absolutely fabulous and magical. And it’s authentic - from the ornate pots on the stairwell to the wall paper everything seems to be original. And what struck me the most is how clean and dust-free it is. Must be a really tough job to keep up this house.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful surrounding countryside. The staff are wonderful, friendly and super accommodating. The breakfast was perfect and the whole experience was outstanding

The only issue we had was the bed in our room was very very hard to sleep on and in the morning our bodies were a little sore and stiff.

Beautiful, spacious and secluded chateau in Issoire. The exterior was magnificent and the interior was so charming, I loved every single detail. Laurence was very kind and accommodating, and she went over the top to make my mum some dinner when I mistakenly thought there would be restaurants or cafes nearby. Thank you!

A brilliant establishment. Spotlessly clean, quiet, old-world charm, tastefully decorated and attention to detail throughout. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would love to have stayed longer than our three nights.

exquisite chateau, charming and full of character. we had a wonderful stay in a very comfortable room. Fantastic hosts, kind and helpful and spoke good English thankfully. This is a beautiful area of France and was everything and more than we expected of a traditional French chateau. The breakfast was fabulous with local produce, the most delicious croissants. Highly recommended. Above and beyond as Lawrence booked us into a local restaurant in Lusson which again was fantastic with incredible views.

Nothing to dislike.

Residing in an authentic period chateau with complete atmosphere of the former times , but with sufficient modern amenities to make the stay comfortable.

Not for those who prefer minimalist living.

Yes, it's a real castle full of antiques and beautiful ornaments. Very quiet as the owner of the castle wishes and we should respect this. You need a car as there is really NOTHING around the place. You can only eat continental breakfast at this property and need to drive some distance if you wish to dine properly. (You'll be informed where to go) However we enjoyed our room so much that we had picnic every night there with a bottle of good wine. ;-)

The Chateau provides an excellent bed and breakfast. The proprietors are really friendly and our stay could not have been better.
