It was such a beautiful yet quirky property! The room was stunning with the most gorgeous views over the cove. The bay windows were exquisite. It was truly mesmerising. The room was beautiful & fully equipped with, tea, coffee, cookies. There were lots of lovely toiletries & towels. The shower had fabulous pressure, really roomy and felt great. The bed was enormous & one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. The hosts, Christopher and his wife Jayne were the most hospitable people ever. Gave us lots of advice about walking in the area and a little bit of history also. They were lovely people, warm and friendly. The breakfast was amazing! A large big hearty English breakfast with lovely big cafetière of delicious filtered coffee. The hosts kindly left complimentary water in the hallway which was really appreciated as it was a particularly hot weekend. There was a bench just across the path from the guest house which looked onto the cove. We even had the pleasure of watching the sunset. The location is simply perfect. I would highly recommend this guest house and we will definitely stay again. Thank you so much Christopher and Jayne for making our stay so special & enjoyable & magical. Absolutely fantastic. X

The room was fantastic, Chris and Jane were so welcoming, we could have a laugh. The room was beautiful, such a great design, very spacious, very comfortable, could hear the sea from outside through the window. There was a bath tub, a big one, with lots of options for washing, including a muscle relaxing bath soap which was needed after a long walk. The breakfast was fantastic, and I felt so relaxed. I really want to come back here again, because it was so nice, and stepping outside onto the road will place you on the SWCP which runs outside the property. Jane and Chris have a lot of knowledge about the SWCP, and stories to tell, so if you want to know more about the walk, or even better more about the local area, then this should be somewhere you stop on the way. I really recommend people on the trail like me take a moment to stop here, there is a lovely beach near by, and the main area is a very short 5 minute walk. I wish I had stayed for a couple of nights and would have done if I knew how amazing it was. I cannot thank you enough.

The Wi-Fi connection from the room wasn't strong for some reason, I just about had one bar. But this is not an issue, because you are there to unwind and relax, and I was still able to make a call with my partner over WhatsApp which was the main thing :)

During our stay, Chris and Jane did absolutely everything and beyond to make sure we had all the comfort and that we were happy. The service was excellent, the rooms super clean and smelled nice (which is always very important to me!) and the bed was extremely comfy. My toddler who usually wakes up between 5am and 6am now slept past 7am every day and was very happy too! He even got a little Easter present from the host! Breakfast was amazing and home made, the view from the room was beautiful too. The bathroom was HUGE and furnished lovely! We could fully recharge our batteries there. Thank you for everything!

Wifi connection was broken in one of the rooms but it really wasn’t a major issue as we could just moved to the other room in the apartment.

I loved the location, I liked how homely the B&B was, breakfast was lovely, the owners were polite and accommodating. The bedroom was beautifully decorated. Beautiful views. Easy access to the beach and the rocks. Plenty of seating areas around the beach areas. Lovely little village. Breath taking views.

The room we stayed in was beautiful, just a few issues that will probably be replaced in due course is the bed needs replacing doesn't look good or safe, bit sketchy to sleep on, but held fine through the night. The seating at the window needs a new foam. Apart from this the stay was beautiful and I couldn't fault anything else. I know the owners are updating and this doesn't put me off from ever returning as the place means a lot to me. I look forward to seeing the place blossom in years to come.

The host Chris was extremely welcoming and went above expectations on our departure by meeting us a few miles down the South West Coastal Path (SWCP) to "deliver" my wifes walking poles that she had unfortunately forgotten at the property. The property is clean and welcoming. It is also a perfect location for anyone walking the SWCP as it is literally on the path. It is only a short walk to a great local pub for your evening meal and in the morning breakfast is offered between 6:30pm and 8:30pm so allowing an early start on yoyr walk to Woolacombe.

We were welcomed warmly on arrival by one of our hosts Jane.We were able to park at the property and walk from their lovely home to explore the pretty village of Combe Martin.We loved the peace and quiet and could relax completely in their home. We met Chris, our other host, who was most friendly, helpful and made the most delicious breakfasts which set you up for the day!We had a lovely sea view from our bedroom and saw a beautiful sunset on our first evening.

Beautiful area first of all! Then a lovely homely welcome :) stunning decor! Words won't be enough of the wonderful atmosphere as soon as you walk in! The most comfiest beds! (Even better than home). Our 7 & 8 year old were over the moon with everything! Especially the lovely dogs! Food was really nice! And the table was set out so perfectly! We would of stayed longer if we could! I have promised my children we will return! This beautiful stay included the most amazing location!

Friendly welcome from Chris. Lovely room with a Seaview. Ensuite with rolltop bath with shower gel and shampoo supplied. Comfortable mattress. Adjoining room has tea and coffee making facilities with milk in the fridge. Choice of Breakfast- we had a lovely Full English, toast, orange juice and coffee. Quirky, homely, quiet location. We stayed in room 4 at the top.

Google maps directed us down a very narrow lane, coming from Woolacombe direction. Ignore instruction keep going there is a better way in.

Room was lovely and clean, loved the decor. Christopher was a lovely welcoming host who helped us with some local bus pick up points for further into our travels. He also swapped out our breakfast for a packed lunch which we were grateful for (amazing egg mayo sandwich!). The location was perfect as it was directly on the South West Coast path which we were walking. It would have been good to have had an additional blanket or two in the room as my travelling companion got cold in the night when the weather turned colder.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast! The property had so much character and felt so homely and welcoming. It’s beautifully located—just a short walk to the sea and the town, which made exploring easy and enjoyable. Chris was an incredible host—so friendly and informative, making sure we had everything we needed. He even offered us an iron without us having to ask! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and really added to the experience. Highly recommend staying here!
