Dont judge a motel by its cover, we were impressed the first time we stayed here that we booked it for a subsequent ski trip. The room inside is better than most hotel and airbnb properties I've stayed at throughout my travels. Fully remodeled, excellent lighting, no noise issues from outside or neighbors. Owner and staff are friendly. This place is more bang for your buck compared to other places in Bishop and Mammoth. Owner is recently going through some hardships in her personal life so please support your local businesses by staying here if you're heading up to this region

Room was clean and freshly remodeled. Smelled like cleaner, but the windows open and the room aired out very well. Opened the room up and enjoyed a short walk to the Mountian Rambler Brewery, had a great dinner and beers. Walked back to a fresh and clean room. In the morning I enjoyed coffee at Black Sheep Coffee Roasters and shopped at the Mammoth Gear Exchange. Motel has easy check-in and out. I am a regularly stay at Hilton hotels and spend 200days a year in a hotel, so I know what the experience should be. Once the exterior remodel is complete, this will be the nicest motel in Bishop.

Exterior is under construction, if that bothers you this isn't your place. Please keep in mind the rooms are very nice and freshly remodeled.

The view from our bathroom was beautiful of the mountains. The room seems to be remodeled and is very nice. Great shades that block out any light. The heater was not easy to work. We thought the staff was super friendly, the room clean and it was perfect for the price. A bit off the main street and that was nice. Quiet area. A good deal. I'd stay there again.

The new heater was hard to figure out and noisy. Since it's winter, we needed some heat during the night, and we kept it down to 64 degrees, but it kept coming on and off and was very noisy.

The room was super comfortable and felt very modern. The bathroom had a lot of goodies like toothbrushes and toothpaste if you forgot yours. The TV was massive and had things like Netflix and Disney Plus. Very good value for the price.

There was still hair in the shower drain from the previous tenants which was definitely gross. I would recommend having lights near the bedside and better places to plug in things like phone chargers near the bed.

I hesitated to write this review due to me wanting to keep this place a secret. However, I felt that unfair as I booked my stay based on other glowing reviews of this motel. All of the rooms here have been entirely renovated recently. Were this room in a coastal city, it would easily be $400+ a night. The room was very clean and everything was brand new. I enjoyed my stay here and will be back.

Had a very nict stay here. Room was great and bed was very comfortable, staff was great. If you forgot toothbrush or paste - they got it. TV with Netflix and Amazon, enough parking places. Still in the work of renovating (it is not disturbing), so pool not useable at the moment - But I think, if they are ready, it will be an even better place to stay.

Everything is being remodeled and they are doing a great job at it. It definitely didn’t have that run down motel feel. Would 10/10 stay here again

The only complaint I have would be the shower. The drain must have been clogged because the water just puddles up at your feet. Other than that everything else was fine for our stay.

Situated in a scenic small town. Newly remodeled rooms. Microwave and refrigerator. Convenient location for our drive to Seattle and visit to Death Valley NP.

Bed a bit uncomfortable. No lamps at bedside tables. Only poor in-room coffee. Grounds are old and in disrepair but were told updates are in progress.

1) Staff was very professional, friendly, and aimed to please; 2) The room was clean, spacious, and contained just the right amount of furniture (besides the large, comfy king bed), for eating meals/snacks, completing business paperwork, and placing misc. important items within view.

The motel is under renovation - so when I first pulled in I was a bit worried about what my actual room was going to look like/be like. Once given a key & shown to my room - Phew!! everything was cool. Staff reassured me that if I needed anything just to call front desk.

The room was exceptionally updated and clean! The exterior building look outdated old "motel" but we were very satisfied with the room we were assigned. Conveniently located in the heart of bishop and will def stay here again if i'm visiting the town!

it's an old motel that doesn't have a lobby or a public bathroom for the guests.
