We were happy to get a room immediately after coming off the John Muir Trail. Staff was friendly and accommodating even though we were tired, dusty, dirty, and sweaty. Super 8 seemed palatial after a week in a tent and sleeping bag! Ice machine was available, and there was a pool, although we didn't use it.

We were told breakfast was in the lobby, 7-10 am. My partner spied some people in the lobby at 6:45 am, and he headed over. He got the *very last* of the waffle mix. There was a large group of Gold Wing motorcycle riders who COMPLETELY raided the breakfast bar, even stuffing their jacket pockets with food for future meals. I arrived about 5 minutes later, prior to 7 am, and there was nothing at all left, except single-serve yogurts, coffee, and a few bread slices and jelly packets. I'm not sure what staff could do to prevent this, but it sure made that group look like ugly tourists.

Loved the floors, no carpet which was good! Bathroom was updated another plus! The bed was super comfy too! The lady in the office was very polite & nice. Good location, close to Line St so very convenient to go into the higher elevations to the lakes.

Didn't care for the pop corn ceiling, they should update that and complete the look of a remodeled room. A little noisy outside but that's to be expected.

The room was adequate for my needs. Nothing fancy about it but everything worked well. The air conditioning was great given the 103 degrees outside temperature when I arrived. The breakfast was very basic but also was adequate for me. I enjoyed use of the pool in the extremely hot climate in mid-August. This is a basic, low budget motel but it was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed and wanted.

Would have liked an extra blanket when the room became cool during the night but there were none in the room.

A good location next to the highway and not far from the main town and restaurants and local attractions including Laws Railway Museum, plus good for planning daytrips to Mammoth Lakes and Mono Lake with lots of other cool shops in between including the ghost town at Benton Springs. A nice and quick check in with pleasant staff. Our room was quite modern and spacious with a big comfy bed, we recommend a stay here for anyone visiting the area...

The clean room, organized with necessary linens and microware, coffee maker and frig. They have large photo on wall that we love the subject! You will have to come just to see that. Fine sunny breakfast zone in the morning with view of the Sierras. The family that manages the motel keep it up rather well. We have been here with family three times now and will probably come again.

The bathtub could not utililze the stopper. I brought a couple of extra blankets for the bed it is a little hard (first time) but it is very clean.

Property was decent. The staff was ok. Room was clean and comfortable. Good value for the money. Pool clean. Although the shade comes in and makes it a bit chilly with the constant breeze.

Not the fault of super 8 but there is construction going on and the streets are in poor condition.

Breakfast was great, loved the pool.

The pool was great, but the pool area was a storage area for broken sun loungers, boxes and boxes of tiles, and various other DIY items, which was just unsightly. No sun loungers, only chairs. With a good clear out and a clean that area would be a great chill out area.

Breakfast was good for the price. The tables were clean and hand sanitizer is available. There were 2 dry cereal options and a hot cereal option. Both white and wheat bread for toast. The milk and yogurt were nice and cold in the small refrigerator. Both juice and coffee were nice. The eating area inside was a little small but it wasn't crowded when I had breakfast and I noticed outside seating.

Nothing negative.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. My car broke down while in town and the staff allowed me to park my car overnight while the tow truck made its way to us.

I found the property to be a great value. Plenty of available parking. No issues with this property.

Clean, had a guest laundry (for a reasonable price) on- site light breakfast, pool. It's on the main road in Bishop so it's close to other shops and food (just bear in mind it's a small town).

Dryer only really dried on the highest setting.
