Breakfast was excellent! There were more food options than we have previously seen in many hotels such as this one, and we enjoyed our meal. The evening before, we joined many others in the bar/lounge area for drinks. We loved the "vibe" and atmosphere there. We especially liked the authentic rustic decorations, such as an old kerosene lantern, vintage skis, and two sets of snowshoes. While walking the hallways, we admired the Galen Rowell images and other wall decorations.

I would have enjoyed the sausage patties to be more well-done (browned on both sides) and I really wanted bacon for some reason. But of our total experience, these are the only two improvements I would make. Everything else was superb!

We (2 adults, 2 kids) loved our stay at the Wayfinder in Bishop! The grounds with the lovely stream, the outdoor pool (not heated in the winter), the jacuzzi and the fire places were incredible! When we arrived from LA we walked the grounds, relaxed in the jacuzzi (the kids even used the pool to cool off), and then enjoyed dinner in the lounge area by the fireplace. We were thrilled that there was live music that night, and the whole group (we were traveling with our friends from Australia who also stayed at the Wayfinder) had a blast! The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very cozy. The bathroom looks brand-new, and there is an extra mini bathroom (sink & mirror) right outside the main bathroom, so it was easy for us 4 girls to get ready in the morning. Check-in was professional and easy, and the entire staff was very welcoming and super nice! The breakfast buffet (6-10am) was amazing! The girls loved the waffle maker, and the adults loved the coffee to-go cups! The hotel is an easy - and absolutely gorgeous - drive (approx. 55min) to June Lake where we were headed after breakfast.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY in BISHOP! The Wayfinder Bishop was a mountain lodge type stay that was comfy, with lux details, great food/bar, a calming and scenic creek flowing adjacent the property, creek-side seating, pool, sauna and hot tub. I stayed with my family and they were impressed! This is a great place to stop coming from BOISE going to LA area, or going to Yosemite, etc. It gave us the rest we needed to continue a long drive. But, could have easily stayed longer to explore the area. Hope to come back!

The employees were exceptional, the hot tub was working & great, the beds were super comfortable, the air vents were clean & reasonably quiet (almost creating white noise), and the complimentary breakfast was a delight. They also provide free bags of ice if you're traveling with coolers :)

The hotel is under new management and apparently did not disclose an additional fee they charge people on top of the tax and tourism fees booking.com charges. Thankfully they took care of it, but I definitely didn't appreciate the hidden charge.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Our room was beautiful overlooking the creek with the balcony… Our toddler loved it.

Unfortunately, the staff was very unfriendly during our visit. The first night we came, there was a beautiful fire roaring and we loved it. The next day my husband requested that they started a fire again and they said they didn’t have enough wood, even though there was wood stacked up That was visible for us to see. They ended up bickering with my husband back-and-forth and really set a bad tone for him.

The room decor and the large living area added to our comfortable stay. We loved the live music and the outside river and multiple fire pits were spectacular. Thank you for a great stay once again!! Great Mountain View’s from the property and Ofcourse very close proximity to Schats Bakery!!!

Breakfast could have been better including additional coffee options. I was looking forward to the famous biscuits and gravy but there was an insufficient amount prepared for the amount of guests at the property.

The property had a rustic charm and cozy atmosphere along with amazing views of the creak running alongside the hotel and the majestic mountains. It was also well maintained, very clean, with great amenities like a buffet breakfast, fire pits that overlook the creak, a laundry facility, pool, sauna, and free parking.

A bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for.

We loved every thing: room was beautiful, the bathroom was clean and nice, loved the shampoo and conditioner and the little extras that made the stay so nice!

The lighting in the room could have been better. It was very dark without a brighter lighting option. Could not read well in the evening. Also, the room above us must have been rented to a herd of elephants. The noise was quite disturbing at 1:30 AM in the morning.

I loved everything! The location was convenient & beautiful. It was very clean and the lady (With super short blondish hair) at the counter was exceptionally nice & welcoming! The breakfast buffet was so good too and the employees did a great job keeping it clean and stocked.

Breakfast was not exactly 'free' bc there was a $23 "resort fee" (called "tourist fee" or something like that). I'm not sure what the value of that was unless it paid for the breakfast. Although there were nice soaps in the room...maybe that's why?! No other hotels in Bishop appear to have a 'tourist fee'. Annoying.
