Renovated & clean room. Staff was quite friendly. I love the retro Thunderbird Motel sign on the roof! Can you please restore it and bring it back to life!

Parking my car was a struggle! There doesn't seem to be enough spaces for the number of rooms.

The Thunderbird Motel without a doubt is one of the very best budget motels I've ever stayed in. Obviously they've refurbished the place not too long ago, of which they've done a really nice job. The rooms looked modern, were very clean, spacious, great bathroom and shower, very comfortable bed, good refrigerator and microwave. The owner was friendly and super helpful. Spoke to a guy who cleans the rooms who was really conscientious about the quality of his work which was awesome too. Good wifi, great location in the middle of Bishop.

Really enjoyed the stay, nothing comes to mind that I didn't like.

Great locations! It has multiple great restaurants within super close walking distance. It is quiet and convenient! If we are traveling to Yosemite/ Mono Lake or Bishop/Mammoth Lake, this is the place to stay! Highly recommended!

The hotel room is very spacious and clean. The heating worked perfectly and saved our life in the cold Oct night. It is super dog-friendly. We had a large lawn right in front of my room so it is very good. The walkability is nice, and the environment is quiet.

Location is good, center of town 👍 Coffee on the Corner👍 The curtains in the room show you to look out but now in, security for your vehicle and belongings. 👍 They allow pets👍 Staff was very accommodating and I am grateful. Allowed me to reserve and pay for the room while I was driving. Nice folks there... I'm a pretty picky person and they met my needs. Kudos

Only one thing, must have been a Family upstairs above me. Sounded like a bowling alley. No offense, was just a one time thing I'm sure. Over all, good stay. Will stay again...

As far as I could tell there was no breakfast available. The man who checked us in was very friendly and polite.

Housekeeping staff lacked attention to detail when cleaning the room. There was no cream for the coffee, the bulb in the reading lamp on the left side of the bed was burned out and the microwave oven needed to be wiped out.

Check in was smooth, and the staff was friendly. Location was great, room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to walk to grab a bite to eat, and grab a few groceries. The little shops were fun to explore. Definitely recommend!

Parking was a little tight, but not terrible

Exceptionally clean and super cute decor. The children loved it. Rooms had fridges microwave and coffee maker. Good tv. Checking in was a breeze staff was super nice. Will definitely stay again we travel to mammoth frequently during snow season. Can’t beat the value.

The rooms are excellent. The parking is kind of tricky, but it is right there on the main street restaurants stores bars, walking distance no problem.

Thunderbird always has excellent customer service. We were worried about it being a small motel but it’s the only place we’ll stay in Bishop now.

The parking situation is a little strange, but we always manage.

Spacious remodeled rooms with no carpets! Reception office was a bit overpowering with the scent of Indian food which I love, but nonwelcoming to many folks. May have been an outage but pkg lot which was a bit tight, was completely dark when we left at 6 a.m., very dangerous traversing down the stairs. There were no downstairs rooms available for older folks either.
