A series of connected cottages all with their own porches and entrances. Rooms were cozy and completely furnished. This is a really interesting town with very old architecture and an active preservation movement. Walking around was enjoyable and it was easy to find good food. There were brochures of local things to do and lots of other little touches in the room. Infinitely more character and personality in this neighborhood than the big box hotels over on the giant expressway.

It's a little odd to never interact with a human. We got a text for the entrance code for our room and used that to come and go. When we left there was a little sign we clipped to the door to tell them we were gone.

The hosts were very accomodating and responded in a timely manner. The location of the property is excellent for exploring the town on foot. The room was charmingly decorated, clean, and had everything we needed. Beautiful garden and very convenient parking spot on the doorstep. :)

The main surprise was that breakfast is provided only for the first day of stay. I did not see this information when making the reservation. But I do have to mention that the one breakfast that we did get was very good: juice, milk, yogurt, fresh fruit (a real treat!), cereal, cake, coffee and tea. Although I´m fully aware that softness/hardness of bed is a matter of personal preference, the bed and sofabed were way too soft for the 4 of us. That being said, if you favor softer beds and come prepared to arrange for your breakfast after your first morning there, I would recommend staying at this property.

Loved everything about the place . It was super cute! Walking distance to most everything I wanted to experience. Short drive to some of the other locations I wanted to visit. I don’t get out much so for me this was a little mini dream vacation. I definitely would love to stay again.

That’s hard because I didn’t really dislike anything, I guess price wise I’m a little torn, not something I could afford often BUT you’re getting a beautiful space and no slamming doors like in a hotel. If you’re staying multiple days and want breakfast but don’t want to go out that would be the only other issue. You get a complimentary breakfast . Few blocks away though is a wonderful place to get a nice breakfast though.

Very cute and comfortable. The room is well apportioned with sleeping for 4 and sitting areas both inside & outside on the covered porch. The bathroom was adequate and the jacuzzi tub added a relaxing element. A small kitchenette with provided continental breakfast of delicious fruit, yogurt, cereal, and local bakery item of blueberry pound cake really made it convenient to get the day started. The owners, Brent & Julie really show pride in their property, keeping it well maintained and beautified.

Needed to adapt to not having a dresser and put clothes (non-hanging) in various smaller drawers or armoire area.

We stayed in the Juniper Room. I love that it was in the back nestled by the quiet backyard space. The interior is a beautiful space. Love the decor, and the sitting area outside is extremely inviting. We were there for only one night but had everything we needed. It was convenient to the church and other community services. Highly recommend! We would return in a headtbeat.

Room was nice and comfortable. Enjoyed waking up listening to the birds and relaxing in the rocking chair. Had some difficulty with the Apple TV, not having an Apple phone/account. Cold water handle in the bathroom sink leaked, but I’m sure management will take care of it. Nice window shades, lovely porch.

Wonderful location in quiet, walkable neighborhood. The Texas Cottage was comfortable and well equipped. It had everything we needed for a multiple night visit

Adorable cottage (clean and comfortable) in quiet neighborhood. Delicious breakfast from local bakery. Lots to do and see within walking distance. Thoroughly enjoyed time on the front porch! Julie & Brent were great hosts!

Wifi was not great but we didn't need it as we were out and about most of the weekend.

Our cottage was beautifully decorated and equipped, in a quiet street, and with a lovely furnished front porch for an evening drink and breakfast, (available fresh from our fridge). Car parking and internet ideal. And only a few minutes walk into downtown New Braunfels.

We liked everything about the accommodation.

You got the impression that the owners were personally involved in making your time at their place the best possible experience. The cleanliness and attention to your needs couldn’t have been better. The best example of good hospitality.
