Some good offerings, but a bit pricey.

More choices for dinner. Location of the new restaurant Salt Grass is good. However, they could make a special arrangement for guests of the Marriott to have some priority access to Salt Grass since it was constantly crowded and had long wait lines. The alternative restaurants are mostly downtown OR across the freeway. Sometimes guests do not want to drive anywhere to eat after a day of conferences and meetings.... or after a company happy hour.

A great place to stay! We loved our stay, and what we liked more was the friendly staff. Brenda was very welcoming when I checked in and made me feel at home. Great, great customer service. The beautiful view of the river was amazing, too.

Everything was excellent, but if I had to choose something I didn't like, it was the knocking of the housekeeper at 8:20 a.m. on the day of check out even though we had the "do not disturb" sign hanging outside the door knob. My children were still asleep resting. I just felt rushed to check out. I understand they have a lot of work cleaning rooms, but it was very unpleasant to wake up and cover myself rapidly so she wouldn't see me when she opened the door.

The location is great, close to Gruene, the river activities and even Buccees. Also sits on a quiet part of the river that you can enjoy. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. The Bistro had great food options.

The only thing we didn't like was the guest above us was loud late into the night and the floors don't seem to dampen the noise very well.

Location next to the river…the grounds were beautiful. All the staff were nice and engaging except the young guy at the desk when I arrived at 11:30pm. He just seemed apathetic. Cindy attended our conference room and was fantastic and so was the IT guy who helped me.

The first room assignment- AC unit not working properly. Had to change rooms.

Loved the access to the river for swimming and also the pool. Grounds are beautiful. Room very comfortable and nice.

No coffee available during the day. No free breakfast. For the price some extras would be nice. No notice until arrival that water would be turned off at 10:00 am the next morning for repairs. We were accommodated with a free late check out, but there should have been some notice at the time of booking.

The property was gorgeous and has the luxurious feel while still enjoying the river as fun as you can. A property built to create memories that are priceless!

If I had to really choose a negative it’s probably just that unfortunately this great place is jammed right in between busy highway exit/enter ramps, so it can cause a bit of a delay, or unnecessary urgency maneuvering.

Well located and I found the bed very comfortable. Staff was friendly and effecient.

Shower head was old and water stream was partially messed up due to calcium deposits. Would prefer a shower head with detachable piece that allows more flexibility when showering. Tub was very slippery.

Everyone was super friendly right from the get-go. I thought it was very easy to make the reservations, and the room turned out exactly the way the accommodations were supposed to.

I did not like the parking situation. There was not enough parking.

Beautiful property! Loved the view of the river and sitting out in the sun watching boats in the river!

Only complaint is toilet didn’t work properly and wasn’t fixed as requested.
