The hotel was very clean. The free breakfast was good! Room was clean and the AC worked great! (We like it cold) Bathroom had makeup wipes which was nice. Bed was comfy, not too firm or soft. 2 elevators so it didn’t take long to get to the room either. Hotel is close to food too. Staff were all very courteous.

The pillows were those feather pillows so they go flat. Elevators made a lot of noise which can be scary for kiddos. Walls or doors were thin, could hear the neighbors pretty clearly in the hall but not once they were in their rooms.

The bed was comfy and the hot breakfast was to die for! I never ever eat sausage gravy anywhere but home because there is always TOO much black pepper but your gravy and the hot biscuits were divine! Warm cinnamon rolls and bacon cooked to crispy perfection. Runny oatmeal but brown sugar and butter... YUM! YUM! We all left there FAT & HAPPY :)

Water pressure in the shower was not good but it never is in any hotel so nothing yall can do about that

The front desk staff of Anthony, Kaila and Caleb were outstanding customer service individuals. There were very friendly and very attentive to any requests my wife and I made. In my opinion that are truly valuable employees of the Holiday Inn Express in New Braunfels. Additionally, Erma, the breakfast buffet attendant, was also excellent .This was our second visit to this location and without a doubt we will definitely return.

I was somewhat disappointed that the swimming pool needed vacuumed and chlorinated. This is understandable in as much as there is a tremendous amount of construction in this area - no harm, no foul. If would also be helpful if trash receptacles were placed near the entrance to limit the litter in the parking area.

The facility was clean and smelled fresh. Very comfortable bed and sheets. Love the cinnamon rolls! The new coffee maker in the lobby is a huge upgrade.

Having said the coffee in the lobby is good, I would still like to have a coffee maker in my room as well. The water pressure was abysmal. Couldn’t wash my hair because there wasn’t enough water pressure to rinse out the shampoo. 😡 The towels were very rough.

I enjoyed how clean the room was. The location was convenient for our planned activities. The quality of our shower, furniture and amenities was much needed and appreciated. We loved the free breakfast included!

We didn’t sleep comfortably on the mattress with the pillows. Thankfully we brought our own pillows. The elevator was often sluggish when going back and forth in and out of the room. The ice machine in the lobby was down at the time.

Cleanliness, showers were well stocked, pool had a couple extra towels, the business cards had the manager name on them.

Did not like writing down make and model of my vehicle. When inquired about the paper the attendant helping another family turned around and said it was standard practice at all hotels and she's worked in other hotels before. It was a little rude to the other attendant to blurt in. While I understand she was trying to put me at ease, I don't want someone to lie to me.

Front desk man, by the name of Kobie went over and above to make our stay comfortable! He displayed outstanding professionalism, service and was VERY friendly and personable! His attitude and customer service FAR exceeded any other employees! Kudos and thank you to Kobie!

All rooms with king size bed should have stub ,specially for handicapped.I asked for one but was not ready for us.

We always enjoy our stay at this facility. Traditionally it has been consistently clean, the staff very helpful and the breakfast plentiful and fresh with a variety for all tastes.

I believe the mattresses we had this trip were a bit old. They were fairly comfortable the first night, but the second night I did not feel as comfortable as the previous night. I do not believe I could have slept on it a third night. My husband, who slept in a separate bed, felt the same way. Perhaps it is time for a mattress update!

This was our third time to stay here (the front desk staff recognized us lol). Everything is super clean, the staff are AMAZING, and the breakfast is good. Love this hotel. We stay here anytime we’re in NB.
