My stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites New Braunfels, TX, was nothing short of excellent! The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience, always friendly and attentive. The rooms were impeccably clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area's attractions. I truly appreciated the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New Braunfels.

Very easy to locate. Good food (except very little protein!! Only eggs were hardboiled), iron and board and nice hair dryer. WONDERFUL LIGHTING!!! in room and bathroom.

2 dead roaches in the bathroom!! When we went down to front desk to ask them to p/up Large Roaches and to please spray with bug poison they came and used Febreze room deodorizer. B/c staff spoke almost NO ENGLISH!!! I was able to get fresh towels from a wonderful Latina woman bc I speak some Spanish!!! No soap! No window curtain liner so could not get outside light! We were on the ground floor so people could see in! Staff quite unfriendly and not @ all empathetic to our needs or complaints with exception of the one older (hospitality) woman who was nearly always there cleaning lobby and entrance including sweeping outside!!!<&&

All of the staff were great, such a big help. Very nice, comfortable and quiet. Very easy to get to, close to every type of shopping areas. The breakfast area was very handy and good selections there, loved the hot coffee and juices, especially. We will definitely book here again!

Everything was provided that we needed. Can't think of anything we didn't like. Housekeeping was really very exceptional.

Well organized and a great value. The breakfast was superior for this level of hotel, comparable to 3 or 4 star. The TV programming was excellent with very good selection of premium channels. The bed, linens and pillow were first rate. Bathroom was clean and well designed. Only issue was the appearance of some type of cockroach, which friends there tell me that's not unusual for that part of texas.

Breakfast was decent. Location’s perfect accessing the freeway and proximity to shops and restaurants.

The bathroom had a slightly lopsided sink and a drain right in middle that is not flush with the floor so one has to be extra careful walking around the bathroom. Hopefully they fix this.

I enjoyed my stay here. Sam the front desk was great. She made conversation with you she recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The breakfast in the morning was good. Hadn’t ever seen a Texas shaped waffle before. That was really neat. I had room 316 and the ac in that room was fantastic got really cold. The pool was great very clean water was a Crystal blue. If your needing a place to stay I recommend this place. Was a very great experience and very clean.

Good bed and really hot water

There is a drain in the floor of the bathroom that could literally rip a person toe completely off if not addressed. It’s simply a sharp edged concrete hole sticking up, waiting to do the damage. There needs to be a flat drain cover over the hole in the middle of the bathroom floor.

We were able to get an early check in (11:15 am!) by paying an extra $10, which was great for changing into our swimsuits for the river. Also got an extra pillow at 11pm when having trouble sleeping with only 1. Breakfast had biscuits and gravy and hard boiled eggs, which I thought was a nice touch. Great value in my opinion.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. I want to give a shoutout to the young man (Andy Patel) who assisted us during check-in and check-out. He was very friendly and helpful, even helping us get into our room due our son was sleeping too hard to wake up and open the door for us. Andy, thank you so much for being so helpful and patience

Location

We have stayed there before and employees were very pleasant. Something changed. The staff were not pleasant. We got very strange stares. (Gawking) no one smiled. Made us feel very uncomfortable. Breakfast was late.
