Location- the resort is in the middle of nowhere. For any small thing, you need to get a cab to go outside for like 20 mins. Food options- not bad, could be better There was a weird declaration you need to sign anytime you get any food item from outside the resort, that you will not hold the resort responsible for feeling sick. Someone must have sued them in the past or something. That was quite a weird experience for me. That was the only quirk.

The facilities are outstanding, our little one loved the kids play area. Staff and management very open to negative feedback and act quickly to resolve problems.

Speed of service was an issue. Once had to fetch my own drinks 20 minutes later after ordering from the pool. Room service takes 40 minutes to an hour for things like side dishes or hotdogs which take minutes to make, and items often forgotten. We waited more than an hour for 2 margarita pizzas at the sports bar (we were one of only 3 tables there). In fairness we complained about all this after 2 days and we were given very special treatment for the rest of our stay.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and seamless check-in. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a stunning view that instantly put us in vacation mode. The resort’s amenities were top-notch—especially the infinity pool with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Breakfast was a daily highlight, offering a great variety of delicious food, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. We also loved the relaxing ambiance around the resort—it’s the perfect mix of luxury and serenity. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying sunset views, or just unwinding in the room, everything felt effortless. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful yet luxurious escape in Cebu. Can’t wait to come back!

The resort presents itself as both elegant and expansive. The rooms are well-maintained, offering ample space and the added benefit of a balcony. A room with a sea view is highly recommended. The staff members are exceptionally welcoming. The beach area is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. There is a volleyball field available for both adults and children. The beach itself is spacious, with designated swimming areas for both children and adults. The infinity-style pool is truly remarkable, possibly one of the finest I have had the pleasure of swimming in. Convenient amenities such as towels, pool services, and shower facilities are readily available. Complimentary parking is also provided. The hotel reception area is designed in an exotic, open-air style. Furthermore, there were enjoyable foam pool parties on the weekends, as well as morning dancing by the pool.

A significant aspect that detracted from the overall experience was the dining. The resort's breakfast offerings were below expectations. Improvements to the entire menu would be beneficial. Furthermore, the other restaurants on the property were quite expensive, and the dinner buffet also carried a high price. Indeed, the food situation presented a challenge during our stay. Consequently, we found ourselves ordering food deliveries or venturing out to restaurants, which proved inconvenient as the better dining options were located a considerable distance away, at least 45 minutes from Mactan Island in Cebu City. Additionally, the positioning of the toilet was not ideal for comfortable use.

We, my family and I, had the most wonderful stay at Dusit Thani Mactan Resort from June 15-18. We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday there, and our family truly had an unforgettable time. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and impeccably clean. What really stood out was how courteous and incredibly accommodating the staff were. In fact, I accidentally made a multiple booking, and the fantastic and highly efficient Front Office Manager, Jenevic Alido, along with her supervisor Miss Ruth, managed to get it cancelled through Booking.com for me. Both of them are truly commendable for resolving that problem; they helped relieve my stress so my family and I could fully enjoy our stay. I also want to highly recommend the staff at the Dusit Club for their delicious buffet breakfast, especially Heroshi who provided truly deluxe service. Gel and Karl were also exceptional and hardworking food servers; they seemed to be at every restaurant we visited, just changing their costumes, haha. We also enjoyed the Sunset Club, where we held my daughter's asalto, thanks to Francis. And for our dinner on her birthday night, we dined at Benjarong, where Marithe', Ylaisa, and Jason served us incredibly delicious Thai food. We were particularly impressed by their food presentation, something I'd never seen before, even after traveling to Thailand ten times ... truly only at Dusit Thani! Finally, a big thank you to Erick and Manilyn, who kept our room super fragrant and tidy. Thank you, Dusit Thani! My daughter's 18th birthday was genuinely unforgettable. The pool was clean, the towels fresh, the surroundings spotless, and the food absolutely delicious. In fact, we're already booked to come back next year for her 19th birthday! We'll see you again, Dusit Thani!

The transport fee when we go to the city. Quite expensive, 1,500.00 back and forth. I suggest that scheduled service can be provided by the property or you can rent a car so you can explore more of the city and nearby town. It's much cheaper.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive — we were just relaxing at one of the bars when they kindly gave us individual fans to help with the scorching heat, which was such a thoughtful touch. The infinity pool was stunning and the foam party added a fun, lively vibe. My mom, uncle, and auntie all had a great time, and the poolside music really set the mood. There’s a great variety of dining options on-site — from Filipino and Korean to Thai cuisine, plus cozy cafés — so there’s really no need to leave the resort. We also enjoyed the pool activities like aquazumba and even tried beach yoga. There’s always something happening, so you’ll never feel bored. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, which made our stay all the more comfortable. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing yet entertaining getaway

The shower know kept falling off. It was sometimes tricky to use the knob to control the shower pressure. The restaurant that offers a breakfast buffet had very little variety of food as compared to some resorts and it was a bit pricey.

The room is great, large balcony facing the pool and the sea. The staff is really lovely and pro. The building is normal for this category and everything is super clean. The pool is great, and there's animations. The food is a very complete buffet for the dinner and it's good, even it's dedicated to Coreans and Chineses.

Well, the menu at the pool bar is terrible. Only burgers, not that good, and few meals, quite expensives for frozen food. Totally disappointing to see that there's no kids menus ! Nos pastas. The last point is the beach : it's an artificial one and very small, don't dream to swim. It's very far from the city, the last position facing Cebu.

Location - The resort is located at the peninsula of Punta Engaño in Mactan Island. Can be accessed by taxi or shuttle. Most rooms face the sea, with spectacular seascape views and sunset scenery! The resort grounds is huge with scattered lounging areas. There is a small dolomite beach with beach beds and walkway(sometimes closed). Room - Very comfy. There is a mini bar, coffee+tea maker, safe, robes + slippers, balcony. The double bedrooms is spacious. The building 1 has easy access to the infinity pool and restaurant. Access - The resort takes a bit to reach from town. There is 2x daily complimentary shuttle to Mactan Newtown. Taxi is about 250-300PHP(it is always good to haggle a bit to save money). The private shuttle to/from airport is 950-1150PHP depending on passengers. Mactan Newtown offers grocery (Robinson's), dining, Starbucks, food market, coffee shops and other amenities Service - The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive, but experience may vary during late or rush hours. There are 4 in-house dining options: Tradewinds Cafe, Dusit Deli, Sunset Sports Bar and Benjarong Thai Cuisine. We tried all of them and they are excellent. There is also a Dusit Club serving tea and specialties for members and invited guests. City tours are available but you can easily get deals with Klook app. Overall, a perfect stay for families and those wanting a carefree and peaceful vacation just hanging around the pool.

-Shuttle frequency could be better, but not sure if it is seasonal -It was quite tricky to get house supplies, maybe a general store inside/near the resort could help

From the moment we arrived we were in awe of how spacious and beautiful everything was. From the staff and their uniforms, to the pool, view and food. We stayed 2 nights. Our 7:30pm check in was so welcoming and easy, staff went out of their way to be accommodating, drinks on arrival, offering to get our coffee in the morning and save our table while we went to the buffet breakfast - which was the largest and most diverse buffet breakfast I have ever been to! The Thai restaurant was incredible and the service was great. We had dinner at their bbq on the beach which was amazing and such an experience they even had fire dancers (and fireworks !) the pool was amazing, there was always entertainment (water aerobic, traditional dancers at breakfast, fashion shows and more!) each night at the sports bar had a different theme - made us want to stay for a week ! Although you see quite far from Cebu city and beyond we chose not to leave the resort because it had everything we needed ! Would highlight recommend ! The spa was also absolutely amazing Big shout out to AJ who was incredible friendly, informative and helpful when we checked in and whenever we saw him around after that. And to Hana at the Sports Bar, amazing service, so kind and lovely and informative. Great staff!

Water in our room didn’t get very hot.

Its location was the best and the staff were most accommodating. Management does a great job of ensuring guest needs are valued and attended to. Most of all it is such a piece of paradise. A must see. Love Dusit Thani

We booked a club room which comes with free high tea and free cocktails at set times a day. The first two high tea we went to we were not impressed with the snacks as they just did not seem that fresh. Management however noticed this and quickly turned the experience around with a better selection and even adding some extra freebies. Great experience in the end.
