The rooms and buildings can use some updating. Couch beds and beds themselves are worn out rooms are old and dirty looking although they're clean. However the staff is what makes this place great! They're very friendly and keep an eye out on your vehicles and belongings.The housekeepers are super friendly as well as the breakfast staff/cooks. The staff is the only reason we stay here time and time again as the prices between here and higher end places are close. Ac worked really well and that's the main thing.

The couch bed appears to have delivered a few babies.The beds are worn out. The buildings need a makeover maybe some fresh paint.

We highly recommend the Econo Lodge Inn in Rockport, Texas. From the moment of our check-in to the conclusion of our stay, we were treated with a level of hospitality that made us feel like valued guests. The surrounding neighbors also demonstrated a friendly demeanor. The accommodations, including the rooms, breakfast options, housekeeping services, and swimming pool, were all meticulously maintained and exceptionally clean.

The location was excellent! Our breakfast was fresh and attendant kept it SPOTLESS! She personally serves u fresh bacon 🥓 aswell! Wow! Rooms were only $50 due to off season and come with fridge, coffee maker, and microwave! Fulton pier is close by and we caught 3 catfish within the hour!! Very clean room and property is meticulously kept. Excellent 👌 hotel for the price!! We stayed in RM 104 downstairs and will be back. YES they have the delicious Texas shaped waffles as well 🧇 as part of the free breakfast! Staff were so pleasant 😃

Everything was absolutely clean and just like in the pictures, and I love that detail 😍. It was a relaxing atmosphere, and that's exactly what I was looking for. Also, I love the fact that I can take my little yorkiepoo because believe me, I will come back . Thank you !!!

The breakfast was ok. The eggs were a little watery but they tasted fine. The bacon was cooked nicely. The waffles were thick and delicious. There was enough to have a satisfying meal. The room was clean and everything worked. I like that the location is not exactly in the middle of town but close enough to be convenient.

It would be nice to have more variety for breakfast, like biscuits and gravy, sausage, bagels, muffins, egg patties. Also more condiments and cheese would be great. I miss the option to be able to take meals back to the rooms. I suggest more seating should be made available. But I understand they have limited space/staff, and the meal and service provided was still satisfactory.

I loved almost everything about our stay! Staff was helpful and courteous. Very pet friendly, amenities were as advertised and breakfast was fresh and great. Definitely will be staying here again.

While I liked almost everything our room was not the cleanest. The floor was very dirty mostly understandable since we were near a beach although our other accommodations did not have a problem with this. The floor, sink and counter were wet. The floor had a dark liquid near the fridge which was not clean on the outside but clean inside. I would rate higher if our floor was mopped and the bathtub was cleaner.

the landscaping is really nice and homey. we stayed in a Queen suite. which was spacious and comfortable.

this is the second time we stay here. housekeeping needs a little improvement. for 3 of us there were only 2 big towels (which happened the first time we stayed also) not nearly enough when you go swimming etc.. underneath the beds need to be swept and cleaned. bathroom floor is stained with paint, and some bed sheets were dirty. luckily we had our own blankets. I think if room inspections are a little more thorough, this place has a lot of potential to be great

Was a hole in the wall but for the value and my family being extremely close to the water would stay again 9/10

Just the hole in the wall honestly did not need the couch chair in the room either gave some unclean vibes beds were also a bit squeaky but still would go again

Property is uniquely designed around gardens and trees. Beautiful but also difficult to upkeep. Loved floors in room. Wooden tiles rather than carpets. So much easier to keep clean.

Tree roots have cracked sidewalks, and although staff has attempted to remedy, it’s dangerous for older visitors.
