The hotel is new. I think I may have been the first guest to ever stay in my room. The locals referred to it as 'the new hotel'. Everything is new and clean. But the outstanding thing is the size of the accommodation. It is not just a room, but more like a one-bedroom apartment with a living area/kitchenette, and a separate bathroom and bedroom. The hotel is located in a small street in a neighbourhood that provides an authentic experience of urban Thai life. Like many small corners of Bangkok, it seems like a village. There is a local market, where the same people appear every day. The locals are surprised and curious to see you, hardly any speak English. The food choices are plentiful and the prices are very cheap. Downstairs there is a coffee shop. I think it is run by the family who run the hotel. It has a very friendly vibe. The owners speak good English. Nothing was difficult. The owners and the staff were genuinely friendly, in contrast to the smarmy sycophancy you get in big hotels. The nearest MRT station (underground train) is a 10-minute walk and will take you anywhere in Bangkok. There is also a shopping centre (Big C) that is about 8 minutes walk. Best of all, the amazing (and I don't use that word lightly) street food of Huai Khwang is a 15-minute walk.

I wish I could have stayed longer

This was my third stay at this hotel, which is quite newly built. One of the outstanding features is the size of the room. It is like a one-bedroom apartment with a living area/kitchenette, and a separate bathroom and bedroom. It has a full-sized free-standing table, with ample room for a laptop, keyboard and all of my papers, books, dirty dishes and coffee cups. Just like home! Great if you need a comfortable place to get work done. The hotel is located in a small street in an interesting, bustling neighbourhood that provides an authentic experience of urban Thai life. This is not a tourist zone! Like many small corners of Bangkok, it seems like a village. There is a local market, where the same people appear every day. The locals are curious to see you, and hardly any speak English. The local food is plentiful and cheap. The hotel has a coffee shop on the ground floor. It has a very friendly vibe. The owner speaks good English, although the staff don't. However, everyone I dealt with was friendly, efficient and accommodating. Nothing was difficult. If only I could have stayed longer.

we booked the junior suite and it was very spacious. no noise from the streets, calm area. there was a lot of equipement, big fridge, kitchen, separated kitchen and bedroom. Two A/C , confortable bed. lotus and big shops very near by foot. 7/11 few minutes as well, walking distance. friendly employees who speak English and easy check out . we forgot a luggage and they have been helpful with it , kudos to them for this . the value for money is great ! it is not far from good rooftop like Above eleven for example .

if I had to find something I did not like, maybe the noise of chairs that you can hear sometimes from the room above but it's really not an issue . you don't hear noise from the street and the area is very calm and quiet.

The place was awesome! For such a low price I got a really nice room, really clean, with a huuuuge bed (with quite a hard mattress, perfect for me), a new and efficient AC, small balcony (with a sink where I could wash my single clothes if needed and quickly dry them there). The wi-fi was working flawlessly. There was all the furniture I needed. I didn't use the TV but it looked new and well-functioning. Super fast elevator. Good price for laundry (50 baht per 1 washing, 1 day of waiting for clean and dry clothes). The location was perfect - in one of the small, local streets with lots of tiny, local places offering cheap coffee, beer and food, close to many 7-eleven shops and also to a huge Big C supermarket and The One Ratchada night market. Kind and helpful service. I like walking and using public transport so I didn't need to use any taxi even when I was carrying my travel backpack with all the stuff to get to the hotel. Highly recommend the place.

Bathroom could be cleaned more efficiently after hanging "please make up my room" sign on the door (looked like it wasn't cleaned at all, only rubbish bin was emptied). The shower head and drain need a good cleaning as they are a bit moldy. There could be a pot available simply in the room (I only realized it on the third day of my stay that I can borrow a pot downstairs by the lobby :D).

New hotel with new facilities. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Noise from other guest (Chinese) until late at night. Did not provide new towels daily but you can request it if you want one. I just think that this should be automatic given that you would likely take multiple showers throughout the day leaving the towel very wet.

It is a perfect place to stay not far from the Thailand Cultural Center. MRT, 7-11 stores, and night markets are just a stone’s throw away from here. The area is quiet, the room is spacious, with comfy beds and pillows. It is possible to order food and drinks to your room, and there is a microwave and kettle on-site, which we found extremely convenient. There is limited parking space, but you can easily reach the hosts via Messenger to book the parking lot in advance, that is what we did. We did like everything so much, so despite initially we planned to stay here for one night only, at the end we prolonged our stay.

Love this location been here a few times and I keep on coming back to it, it's close to the MRT Blue line, as well as to the Big C and it's not too busy in the area. the staff are super friendly and always ready to help be it directions or tips and tricks great value for money and the ac unites are very good at keeping the rooms cold thank you for a great stay I will be back next year again

nothing, was all to my liking, had what it said it should have , no complains

I stayed in Room 4C. All of the staff were friendly and clearly willing to help. The day-time staff could not speak English, but they were able to handle my check-in and check-out satisfactorily. The younger evening staff member spoke English well.

The matress was very firm, which some people prefer. However, it aggravated a lower back problem that I have. I was even wondering whether I would be able to get out of bed in the morning because of the back pain.

Room was huge, quiet and had a nice kitchenette with a mid-size fridge and a prep area. The pillows were nice and the a/c worked well. Room service was provided everyday including fresh towels. The front desk team was friendly, too. The hotel is also close to a Big C Extra supermarket, an outdoor food market and the Thailand Culture MRT. This RedDoorz is also a very good value.

The wifi was very unreliable and kept crashing, despite having 3 routers in the hotel -- this occurred virtually everyday. The king bed was hard as a rock, even though it was relatively new (it could use a foam topper). The kitchenette lacked some basic utensils, such as knives, basic cooking supplies, a microwave and needed more plates and silverware. The location was not very convenient for sightseeing, as it was off the beaten path a little in north Bangkok. I had to take Bolt to get everywhere and often got stuck in traffic for 30-45 minutes. But you are likely to see zero tourists in this part of Bangkok!

The customer service was exceptional! The host's daughter was very friendly and made it clear that if I needed anything, I could reach out to her. I definitely recommend this place and would consider it for my next visit :)
