I was so pleased. Their price was so reasonable I didn't expect much, and yet they had every little thing I like, from pleasantly bright lighting to new clean matching furniture and a properly working HVAC unit to a bathtub and bathroom with a separate fan. Big tv. Very clean. Reasonable view, indoor corridors. Very conveniently located but just far enough from the highway that there was no road noise. Pleasant staff. Even a few surprises like a guest computer, some breakfast items, guest laundry, snacks for sale and fitness room . (Didnt use any of them but such thoughtful touches.) It's certainly not fancy, but for the price, I was amazed. This is my new go-to hotel.

The price of the room can't be beat for the rooms you get. The bed was so comfortable, we were in town for the paranormal convention in moundsville at the WV PENITENTIARY, our check in took all of 5 minutes without a reservation, because we had another hotel booked but when we showed up it looked abandoned and there was no staff on the property just one woman who was a long term tenant so we decided to go to the super 8.

There was nothing not to like, the room was very comfortable and the black out curtains are perfect for those that sleep during the day due to work travels and being on night shift. The whole experience was great

Breakfast- needs more variety. There is plenty of space to do so. Waffles, Scrabble eggs, breakfast meat (I've worked in hotels and the additions do not take much time nor keeping the meals warm) it's a great benefit, especially with Dennys is right nextdoor.

Quiet hotel and didn't smell of weed or cigarettes.

Our room had a really old Window A/C unit that didn't work half the time and and some of the lights were unplugged so we had to move furniture to plug them in. Also had very few options for breakfast

It was very clean, nice staff, quiet after 10

The road to get to the front door had huge pot holes, if we taken a car might have messed the front end up, the other they had no do not disturb signs, person came in and took trash out and brought towels while we was not there, don’t like it when we stay some hotels and they just come in.

I was very impressed with this hotels cleanly ness, lots of parking. beds were comfortable. 4 pillows on a king bed like there is supposed to be, lots of soft clean towels, in room coffee, no weird smells, actually smelled very fresh and clean. staff very friendly.

Breakfast of Biscuits and gravy was disappointing, watery gravy, biscuits were ok. cereal was available. but for $60 it was fine

I've always enjoyed my stays at the Super 8 in St.C. It's reasonably priced, staff is wonderful and I always like staying there if I do!

I don't really have a complaint. Parking has gotten better since the last time I stayed back in 2021.

I travel a lot for work. My boss always books us into boring mid level, chain hotels. When I book myself, I go for the cheapest, local option. I love old mom and pop motels and franchise motels like Super 8. The Super 8 in St. Clairsville, OH was exceptional! The building was older but nicely updated and everything was spotlessly clean. Lots of veteran trades people home-basing out this place, (Gotta love a motel with a BBQ pavilion but no health spa or pool). A couple of beers in the parkinglot, early bed, and all the trucks gone by 7:00am each morning. This Super Eight was SO QUIET after 10pm! The Super 8 in St Clairsville OH was the best "trade parade" motel I've stayed in. Excellent value. So clean and quiet.

I have been ruined by my boss's fondness of big chains which provide breakfast. I knew i had long days, so I chose an inexpensive place which offered also breakfast. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy! Heck yeah! I love biscuits and gravy. But i have an allergy to red meat. Had to go find a little breakfast protein somewhere else. This isn't really a complaint. Buiscuits and gravy is a great breakfast offering! So much more fun that the predictable, generic stuff in my boss's prefered hotels. Unfortunately, I can't enjoy biscuits and gravy anymore. I wish I could.

I really thought the greeting from the front desk was very nice and friendly even made a fresh pot of coffee which was most excellent a real feel at home feeling with the get away from the hustle of the world and just felt relaxing great place to stay for all.

I like the entire place the room and all I have no complaints I liked it all

Clean rooms! Great price!

The check in process was brutal! I had booked 2 rooms months prior. Showed up to check in. Took approximately 10 mins. Front desk clerk spoke broken English. Very hard to understand. Was like they had no idea we were coming. Rooms were not preassigned. They did not give us enough towels for 5 people. Went to the desk to get more and was told none would be available until 8am the next morning. We were checking out at 7am. Otherwise, wad a good place to stay. So many stores and restaurants near by!
