I am utterly amazed at the complete and total attention to customer service that this hotel projects from the first phone call with them all the way through the final goodbye. They notice everything and work to make it better. Everything here is thoughtful. Also, Bob the owner and Jack the general manager are present and part of the operations—helping guests, fixing things alongside their staff, checking-on and cleaning the swim areas, and even making fresh pancakes. The room attendants left each room spotless and organized. The breakfast was restaurant quality and completely blew us away. The stay was stress-free and I want to go back.

As a part of their continuous improvement there was a little cosmetic renovation in progress, which they had plenty of signage for. The elevator was a little wonky and kept sending everyone to the 4th floor first, but the desk staff were already calling the elevator repair company notifying of the issue as we walked up to the desk. Breakfast was so popular that they could use another waffle machine for peak demand. Saunas were brand new and still coming online so we couldn’t use them yet.

I cannot recommend this place enough!!!! The breakfast was awesome, the facilities were off the charts with a gym, pool, rain forest experience, hot tubs, saunas, corn hole, basketball court, tennis court, splash pad, fire pit, and beautiful bbq area. They even have a shuttle service that takes you anywhere within a 5 mile radius!!!! I felt very safe there and another plus was covered parking!!! ALL of the staff we encountered were exceptional, even brought a pizza delivery menu to our room. I would book this location again without a dought!!! THANK YOU TO ALL!!!!

Not one thing negative to say, awesome staff and management!!

The room was very clean and well maintained. The check-in process was very easy. (The dinner recommendation was terrific).

I did not like that our room was on the same floor as people with dogs. I did not realize that breakfast would be so crowded and difficult for staff to maintain. (There was a waffle batter mess that staff couldn't keep clean bc people were allowing children to make waffles without adult supervision. This no fault of the staff-they were working as hard as they could...it was a problem with the people that were there).

The location of the hotel was thankfully close to a convenience store as we didn't pack any snacks for our trip so we were able to walk to the gas station late at night to grab some. It is also close to some restaurants, so if you didn't want to go very far those options were right across the street

The only complaint is that there was some odd noise that kept happening it sounded like grinding metal on metal or something. Other than that the room was great.

We’ve stayed here before lots of amenities and free breakfast that’s actually breakfast they cook lots of options. Pool and 2 hot tubs. Nice outdoor area. Staff is great!

Issue with booking.com itself advertising a room that they don’t even have. Booked a room with 2 beds and pullout couch that doesn’t exist. Based my stay off of that just to get there and no pull out couch. Lady said I was second person to state this that used booking.com

it was very clean, the beds and bedding were very comfortable. the bathroom had the pumps of shampoo and conditioner as well as lotion. the staff were friendly and helpful.

the clock in the room was 6 minutes fast but we couldn’t figure out to change the time or set the alarm. the alarm went off at 6 am, luckily we were up. there are no buttons for time or alarm. maybe have the instructions nearby. small issue actually

Staff was very welcoming. We got in late with 2 cranky babies after being on the road for almost 10 hours, the front desk grabbed us extra towels and pillows, and helped bring everything including coffee for me and my husband up to our room (they made it for us and everything). Helped with our bags. First impression was wonderful as we have never stays with them before. It was a recommendation from my father in law, and we will absolutely be booking with them again!

It was by far the cleanest friendliest hotel. I believe I’ve ever been at on a scale from one to 10 it’s a 20… The shuttle took us to the casino, brought us back. The next day took us to capital theater, then to the casino then back it was phenomenal I couldn’t ask for anything more. .. super friendly, kind, staff and maids as well I don’t believe I’ve seen or heard anyone that was upset or angry… Was unlike any hotel experience I’ve ever been on… 100% go to Wheeling Hampton and you’ll be happy

NOTHING………... there is absolutely nothing that I felt could be better. It was the best experience I’ve EVER had at a hotel to be honest. Love you keep doing what you’re doing. We will definitely be back.

The property was clean and the room was comfortable. The breakfast had a very good selection of choices and they kept things clean and well stocked. Very friendly staff and we enjoyed our stay overall.

If you plan on going at the beginning of January, check with the hotel for yearly maintenance on the pool. We were unable to use it during our stay. We usually choice a hotel with a nice pool so that was a disappointment but the women at the front desk did ask if we wanted to change hotels to their other location about 15 minutes away, but we opted to stay there.

The staff there was absolutely incredible! They are all extremely welcoming and very accommodating. The room we stayed in was extremely clean, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom was also very clean! Didn't get to use the pool, but my son did, and he loved the pool, especially the water that falls from the ceiling! I give this place 5 stars! My parents ate at the free breast they offer, and they said the food was very good and lots of options!

There honestly wasn't anything I didn't like! Everything was excellent
