The hotel fulfilled all my expectations. I ordered a taxi to and from the airport, and the hotel arranged it. The location is perfect for both tourists and business people, as it is situated in the very center, offering easy access to all parts of the city. Despite being in the city center, the sound insulation is excellent, and you can't hear the music from the nearby cafes. The food is varied, which is a rarity in hotels. The accommodation is clean and of an extremely high standard. The hotel staff is highly professional and friendly. I would especially like to praise Vladimir, who works at the reception desk, for his help in organizing local taxi rides and for his guidance in explaining the customs of Podgorica. The hotel met all my expectations and justified its 4-star rating.

The location was just what I wanted. Next to Independence Square, and a couple of minutes walk from the main football ground (although sadly the game was moved at short notice!). The room was large and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was decent, and the staff were lovely. Would stop there again if I ever end up back in Podgorica.

The aircon/heating controls didn't seem to work in my room, but I didn't report, and the temperature was comfortable, using the sliding doors. There was noise late at night from fellow football supporters singing in nearby bars, (but at least I knew the words). And a dog barking most of the time.

Podgorica is a much maligned city. We found it very interesting and the Hotel Carine a great base to explore from Location is amazing, there must be at least 50 bars and restaurants nearby and nothing is far Room is comfortable with excellent shower and facilities

Bizarrely the bathroom has a window facing onto the bedroom which gives far too clear a view of my travelling companion performing his morning ablutions. It also lit up the room if the light was turned on during the night

The location was great. The receptionist was always helpful and friendly

The breakfast could be more carefully prepared. 3 days they didn’t mind refill the tea bags. Last day of my staying i took the last tea bag from the box! From 9-10am whatever left they serve it nothing to be replaced. This is not a good image for this hotel. We had toilet issue when we arrived some dirty spots but immediately they cleaned it after our small complain. They also prepared us an apology treat that made our day. I would recommend it for sure just take care this minority things.

Comfortable bed, cleanliness, polite and helpful staff and good location. Good breakfast.

The desk in the room is very tight and there isn't much room left between the chair and the bed. No stand to put the suitcase on. Although in the room it says to hang the towels to save water, even though I hanged them every day, they changed them every day-that was disappointing. Finally, on the Saturday night there was noise from music in the street but it finished by 12 and it was the only night. I stayed total 4 nights.

Carine is a cosy, very well kept small hotel with a truly perfect location in the very heart of the city center, restaurants, shops and all other are reachable in 1-2 minutes. The hotel is ideal for a business trip: the rooms are nicely furnished, equipped with coffee machine, and are overlooking a big garden, so they are protected from the city buzz, which makes the stay in the hotel even more pleasurable. Also, there is a very nice spacious bathroom. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly - in my case they even helped me to solve some problems that were not related to my stay in the hotel. Many thanks to the great staff!

There is some room for improvement regarding the breakfast, I am writing this not as a critique, but as benevolent suggestions, since I am sure the hotel will pick up some of them. The offer is wide and interesting, but it is not fully matching the expectations when on business trip. E.g. fruit, fibre, low-fat yoghurt, fish, selection of bread was somehow missing - at least some of these would have been great to have on offer.

The hotel is located directly in the center of downtown area. In the same building there’s an Aroma store and the tourist office of Podgorica. All good restaurants, some parks and the old town are in fair walking distance. Bus/train station is also in walking distance if you don’t have much luggage. We liked the breakfast buffet very much as it offers all one could wish for (kind of continental breakfast) though not offering much local stuff. WiFi had good signal -even in the room- and decent bandwidth, TV had (working) Netflix app. Last and most important to mention: The hotel’s staff is absolutely lovely, in the restaurant and especially at the front desk!

During our stay they were renovating a building that our room‘s window was facing so there was some noise during the day. Also in the late evening it can get a little noisy because in the neighboring pedestrian area there seems to be some live music in the evenings. This is of course not the hotel’s fault but maybe guests should know about it.

Excellent location in the city center, direct access to a supermarket which was handy in the rain. Looks pretty new. Good value for money. Don’t be put off with the gloomy entry way.

It’s a bit no frills, where there weren’t even any tissues in the room, but it’s new and nice and you get what you paid for. The bed was a bit hard but not a huge problem. Housekeeping staff were super friendly and nice.

The hotel was very good. The room and amenities were perfect. Breakfast was very filling and coffee was good. Location in city is very central enable us to reach public transportation very easily. Staff was particularly friendly and always helpful

Personal is really great! Breakfast is perfect. Rooms are big and clean. The hotel is located in the very centre of the city. We will definitely come here again.

There were no slippers in the rooms. Also the transfer was free when I booked hotel, and when we arrive it was already not. Probably the rules changed but I didn't know about it so it was a surprise.
