I am really happy that I stayed here, so much that I extended my stay here. The location is a little further from the city centre but it was OK as the bus only cost about 1 USD per journey. The area is really safe and secure, I felt safe at night whilst returning to the B&B. The area has lots of parks and nice places to go to. The property is like a small museum! It was so lovely. It was clean and had everything you needed for your stay. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was great.

A beautiful B&B in a very quaint house and beautiful garden. Very friendly hosts, they were so welcoming and informative! Room was comfortable for 2 adults/2 teens. Bathroom was very clean and nice, a little tight. Breakfast was great and plentiful. The couple that run the place were very warm, combined with the uniqueness of the house made this a wonderful stay.

Beautiful rooms with original wooden doors, shutters, windows and floors, period wallpaper and huge tall ceilings with original medallion and a lovely chandelier style light in the middle and antique furniture. Bathrooms are fully equipped with modern systems, including a great shower, but are so tastefully done that it somehow isn't a jarring change when you change rooms. The hallway has amazing details and floors as befits an entrance to such a grand home and the sofa and chairs there were very relaxing, but because they are beside other rooms we very careful not to disturb others. There is even a fish tank full of colorful fish, if the rest of the place hasn't already relaxed you. The gardens are also very delightful and are tastefully done and well tended. Our hosts, the owners, were charming and eager to ensure we had a wonderful stay, which we most certainly did. The love they have lavished on this charming original old house is obvious and they are part of the charm of staying there. Her English is excellent by the way.

Parking can get a little tight when they are full and if you're driving a car that you're not used to, like a rental. Bed was just starting the sag a little but was still very comfortable. I am sure this will not be an issue given the love that is lavished on this gorgeous house.

The house has a central patio and a nice entrance with plants. The B&B is close to a beautiful park in walking distance and is well-connected with regular bus service to the city center. The hosts are super friendly and helped me with any questions I had about my stay in Montevideo and how to discover the surroundings. I felt at home at B&B Cane, thank you!

I enjoyed my time here very much. Great local area of Montevideo, close to some wonderful cafes and beautiful gardens. Hosts are very nice and helpful. I also appreciated being able to set up my transfer to the airport with them.

Clean quiet place. Hosts are very helpful. I had a dental problem and they could help me find a dentist even though it was a Sunday and carnival weekend. Thank you so much.

José and Adriana are wonderful hosts. The ambiance is warm but allows for privacy. I’m especially grateful to José for his help in navigating the bus system to Ciudadela and Ciudad Vieja, and for the road maps as I departed Montevideo by car.

Some travelers might feel it’s too far from the action, but I liked the location in a nice, quiet neighborhood that was walkable at night.

A lovely stay in an old and very atmospheric Montevideo house. the location was quiet and convenient, very easy to drive into the centre of Montevideo. the family running it were so kind and friendly that it felt as if we were staying with friends!

Everything was delightful from the owners to the wonderful character of the home, to the breakfast and the overall feel of the place. The owners would do anything, with a smile , to ensure your stay was perfect. I highly recommend Cane BnB to anyone who does not choose to stay in the middle of the city.
