Good room and staff - overall very happy guest only constructive feedback is below

Pool bar drink prices (cocktails) seem high compared to many similar venues, which encouraged us to eat and drink outside the hotel in the main. Eg Bintang at beachside Bar was IDR 65k Away Camakila standard price for cocktail similar to 2 cocktail for price of one elsewhere. Last night 4 drinks were AUD $56. I think more guests would eat and drink in hotel if drink price more competitive.

I loved the location, Legian is central on the coast between Kuta and Seminyak. The staff were very attentive to our needs and quick to rectify any concerns nothing was too much trouble and always greeted you with a big smile and remembered your name. Breakfast buffet was excellent catering to different needs. We were celebrating a birthday and wedding anniversary and our room was decorated to celebrate the occassion. That said we were charged extra for the attention. The pool was always clean and gardens immaculate. Bit on pricy side but we will definitely stay there again.

The rooms are comfortable as we had a pool side room. In the bathroom the plugs in the sink kept jamming closed and maintenance needed to unjam them. The air conditioner leaked water constantly so we had a bathmat on the floor. The TV in room works but the internet is poor if you want to screen mirror it won't work. There are lots of steps every where which is ok if you don't have a disability. They do have rooms on the ground floor but you still have to navigate the steps.

Great location- so close to the beach, rooms a great size, 2 pools - 1 for all & 1 more like a relaxation pool for adults only

Only 2 things that to me could be improved on. 1: Excellent balcony BUT they need to add foot stools - when you are relaxing ( reading-on the phone, staring into space) you need to be able to put your feet up to relax completely. 2: Music by the pools needs to be more age appropriate - when you re lounging by the pool you need some good music to listen to. Maybe a survey by the hotel to ask what type of music the guests would like played.

Close to a lot of great bars and food options. The pools and bars in the resort are all great ,beds are comfy and all spaces are neat and clean. The best thing about this place are the staff who are always ready to help with any request and are bright and happy. Plenty of repeat visitors, mainly Australian . Legian beach access from resort.

It was in an excellent location , central to Legian, right on the beach with lots of restaurants, shops and money exchange near by.

My only complaint was not from the property itself but the noisy neighbours. The Fat Buddha bar across the road played loud (awful) music until 11.30pm -12 every night. Our room was located on this side of the building, and resort was full so no opportunity to move. The hotel gave us ear plugs - but unfortunately these didn’t really help. Perhaps the management could look into putting up sound buffering panels at the front of the resort (disguised by garden). This is the only solution I could think of - as sound was travelling down between the adjoining resort. The staff were very understanding & helped however they could.

We were in the room behind the staff room, it was facing the Jayakarta, and every night we were awake untill 11 pm with the sound of the music from the FAT BUDDAH, unfortunately the hotel was quite full, so by the time a room became available for us to move, it was too late we only had 2 more nights left. So we decided not to move. We will definitely come back to Camakila as it is the best place for us to stay, and we love the staff., but will pick a room closer to the beach next time :)

Just the noise from Fat Buddah

This resort is in a great location, beach front, and easy walking distance to the shopping areas, bars and restaurants. The room was large, with very comfortable king bed. Robes and slippers provided. Bathroom was nicely decorated with lovely Sensatia amenities. There are two swimming pools, with a good amount of sun loungers, and plenty of shade. Gardens are lovely and well maintained. Bar and restaurant service is provided in and around the pool areas.

The room is showing signs of wear and tear and needs a bit of maintenance. Rooms close to the reception/entrance may hear loud music from the bar across the road.

We’ve stayed here many times. The staff are always lovely and friendly. The location is great and the pool access rooms are delightful

Hotel in great location. Close to shops and beach and at a great price. Our room was ground floor near pool. Pool was warm and clean and great length. Staff were lovely. Many seemed quite new but all giving their best.

Like most of it. Thought the menus were a bit constrained in variety but food we had was good quality. Small point, but the space allocated to the charity, off the foyer, had no product to buy. Not much point having it if you cant support it

We loved our room and the location was great. Staff so friendly and helpful, some staff didn't understand our questions, but there was always someone to cover that. Room service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Eggs at breakfast were lovely as they were made to order.

The pool was too hot not refreshing at all maybe some cover might help with that. The breakfast was terrible, sorry, but it was. Tea to weak you need another tea bag in the hot water, pancakes were like rubber and the hashbrowns were hard and awful, pre-made omletes terrible they should be made fresh while you wait.
