The staff were the best part about the hotel. They were unbelievably friendly and super helpful.

The towels and sheets could really do with some bleach as they were a really off white.

Great little hotel! Our 2nd stay here and no complaints again. Great beds, block out curtains, cold air con., and clean. A nice little restaurant on site with appetising and affordable food to suit a variety of tastes, including local and western dishes. Wonderful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and love interacting and having a laugh with guests. Particular mentions to Tika, Arriani, Made and Made, as we got to know them well during our stay, however every staff member we encountered including maintenance and also cleaning staff, were pleasant, friendly and obliging. The location down the lane makes it very quiet but still close enough to everything, including the beach via a hidden short cut.We will definitely be back again!

Was very impressed with this hotel. Loved our room, we had room 110, the last room on the ground floor. You opened the door, down one step and straight into the pool. Room was clean, great shower. WiFi was good most of the time, had some issues on our last day, but we were out all day anyway. Yes it is down a long laneway but it was not an issue for us and we never felt unsafe walking down it at night, was well lit. Staff were friendly, Breakfast was okay, but we usually go out for breakfast anyway.

Nothing really, was very comfortable and quiet.

The happy staff made you feel welcomed and at home. Food was amazing, and the rooms were very clean and tidy. The family loved the pool area, hidden away nice n quiet short walk to the action. Our plane to come home was cancelled for 17 people, staff went out and above to cater for us for 5 extended days.. I would like to thank Ariani for her swift and prompt action in helping with a medical situation with my 9 month old grandson.. xx well done xx Nikki from Australia

Nothing at all to complain about.

I stayed for one week a few months ago, then returned and stayed FIVE WEEKS at Bali Chaya. It was consistently good, the staff are amazing and I will miss seeing them very much as I fly home now. There’s nothing better for a solo traveller to be welcomed and made to feel like family. The other guests were all lovely and I have made close friends. The location suits beach, shopping, restaurants and massage at every few steps. Thank you all staff at Bali Chaya!

Hotel was clean and tidy, staff all friendly. Breakfast was OK, it was a nice start to the day with the fruit and other inclusions. Right in the center of it all but in the middle so you don't have the street noise

Dark alley way and uneven, but was workable. Needed some draws to out clothing away

Great location. Rooms basic but very clean. Great value for money! Staff friendly and helpful. Onsite restaurant food was fantastic. Great pool though not a lot of shade. Would definitely recommend and I would stay again.

Wifi was a little hit and miss. Some days good other days not so good.

Everything was fantastic and went smoothly. Fresh linen and water bottles each day. Every staff member was so respect and kind - nothing was a trouble. There is a review regarding a dark alley - there is security half way for the villas around & the Bali Chaya Hotel. There are street lights along the way. The desk has someone there 24 hours!Food is from 7am-11pm fyi. I cannot get over how central this hotel was but set far back to not get the craziness of the streets. We’d stay here again 100% recommend.

Breakfast is simple but nice to start the day.

It was an incredible stay for me and my family. The staff was extremely friendly and our little girls felt so well from the beginning. Its very unique that you find a place in Legian that is close to the beach (5min walk), but also very quiet and relaxing. And the prize is "unbeatable" :)

The towels need to be renewed. Although they get cleaned every day, they smell after 1 time using.

Hotel is ok, cute breakfast terrace and good breakfast, many options. The room was clean, but not the toilet.

Before we got there we payed additinal for pool terrace exit. But our room has exit to restaurant area. So we must keep our blinds closed all the time because of people outside sitting. We did not want them to see inside. First four rooms are like that. Toilet was very dirty. They did not have lunch package for us when we needed to go to early tour. The path to the hotel from town is long, dirty and are no lights, so it a little bit scary.
