Great location. Nice and quiet, older-ish guests - no mad party vibes and not many kids, two pools, plenty of sun loungers at the pools. Lovely Balinese gardens. Comfortable bed, cold air con, natural light in the bathroom. Restaurant has lovely view of the ocean. Staff friendly and helpful. Great coffee at Cafe Magnum, just around the corner. Good value for money (~$120/night AUD)

The rubbish was in the alley below the entrance to my room - didn’t smell great for the minute it took to access the room - couldn’t smell it in the room or from the balcony that faces into the garden.

Lovely accommodation with beautiful gardens and comfortable, clean, renovated rooms. We enjoyed the quiet gardens and clean pool area. The breakfast is good, the staff extremely attentive and friendly and you enjoy breakfast overlooking the beach.

Whilst there are signs asking smokers to be respectful, it is time to ban smoking in restaurant, poolside and in the pool. It is very unpleasant to swim or sit at the swim up bar amongst smokers and unpleasant sitting on the lovely pool loungers amongst cigarette smoke.

Great hotel. It’s proper Bali. Two pools. One with swim up bar. Other with pergola bar. Breakfast included in raised open air restaurant where you can watch the waves on the beach Rooms have been refurbished. Decent sized bedroom and bathroom. Patient or balcony with twin settee out front. The managers and staff are superb. Most people at the hotel have been going for years - because it’s good The breakfast is first class and is included. Other meals are good and are well priced. We’ve tried other hotels. Some far bigger and more expensive but we keep coming back to Puri Raja

No complaints at all

Traditional Balinese style hotel. Great location along the beach. Mozzarella restaurant next door was perfect as we dined there a few times. Upgraded to Premier Room upon arrival due to close proximity to the beach side pool. Spent every afternoon in the pool drinking cocktails.

Bathroom was a bit dirty. Hot water was far too hot. Temperature would change during shower. Lucky my daughter wasn’t in the shower with me at the time as she would have burnt herself. One night woke up to a mouse in the bedroom. Noisey at night due to music and live bands playing next door. However, noise would stop at 10pm.

Service and staff were always very attentive and friendly. They were happy to help with additional requests and the rooms were cleaned to a higb standard each day. The breakfast was included, was tasty and had plenty of options. Rooms and beds were comfortable and they kindly accommodated our request to have next door rooms with our friends.

Our only comment was that there were plenty of loungers by the pool but no way to move umbrellas to provide additional shade. So, at certain times of the day a lot of the loungers were unusable as they were in full sunshine.

Very comfortable and the staff were so friendly and kind. We were made to feel very welcome. The Manager TJ was wonderful and went above and beyond when my husband had an accident and he took me to the hospital and waited with me. Ketut, the restaurant manager was always friendly and nothing was any trouble. The breakfasts were lovely and we could adapt them and change things around when choosing food. Staff who were also very kind and provided a great service were Ketut, thank you so much for your help in every way. IB, and Wayan, and Goestoe, your service and friendship are wonderful. Making sure my husband was comfortable, and chatting with us. You all made us feel like family and nothing was too much trouble. Mayde and Oki gave us wonderful massages. A very big thank you. And we shall be back.

Nice room and beautiful garden. The staff was welcoming and kind. Central noisy location, but the room was quiet.

The cushions on the sun beds at the pool were dirty and often with moss. The food in the restaurant was disappointing. If you charge bar and restaurant purchases on the room, they give you a bill to sign that is not completed with the prices and the total amount to pay. When I asked for a copy, they said I will get one from the reception when I pay. During check-out we were not given a detailed list with all purchases charged on the room. Does not seem like a transparent practice.

Puri Raja is situated in a great location opposite Legian beach. The Breakfast area overlooks the beach, but unfortunately they have now build ugly Beach shacks on the beach blocking what use to be a perfect view of the beach whilst eating breakfast. The breakfasts are amazing and all cooked as ordered, also offering fruits & fruit drinks tea and coffee. The room is of a good size with a balcony. The gardens are old style bali and lush green and well manicured.

The Bathroom leaked water everywhere and the matt on the shower floor was full of mould as was the shower underneath and silicone. Some better detail to cleaning would be suggested.

Puri Raja is an absolute heaven on earth. The huge verandahs with private gardens that give everyone privacy. Sofa on the verandah instead of chairs makes it more comfy. Staff are amazing. Love their breakfast menu. Beds are comfy. Around the world phone charger, just take your cords . Water bottle from the fridge equals $15au each. Was the only thing I was dismayed about. Lucky I only had one.

Location to the beach is good. Our room was comfortable with an excellent bed. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also very nice, fresh fruit juice, fruit and a simple selection of cereal. Hot breakfast was also available if you wanted it. Room service for cleaning and towels was very good.

We would have appreciated more information about professionally guided tours from reception, prices and recommendations. However Drivers are available from the hotel reception for transfers to/from airport and to local sights if that is all you require.
