Great location

A lovely hotel golf resort in a stunning area, we stayed for 2 nights with a dog. The room was large and the bed comfy our view was away from the sea but we were glad as there was a cool breeze which we couldn't feel on our balcony. Although dog friendly you are very limited on what you can do, we couldn't use the restaurant or the bar only the terrace, which would be ok if warm enough. To be fair the terraced bar had glass screens so we ate outside and had a lovely meal. Would come again without a dog to use all the lovely facilities. The beach by the hotel was not dog friendly but 15 mins up the road Pinedo beach was.

Nothing its a lovely hotel, only would say proper milk in the room for tea! A very British thing!

Friendly staff at check in. Room was immaculate and had every comfort possible with a great view of the golf course and beach and a nice balcony too. Breakfast was perfect, with our dog so ate on the terrace, the staff made us very welcome and comfortable luckily the sun shone,we selected the hot food which was great and a very varied buffet too. The grounds are well kept and maintained again by friendly staff. An easy walk to the beach too all in all a great location very peaceful.

Because we travel with our dog room service is important as not allowed in the restaurant. This really let the hotel down. A very limited uninspiring menu and quality was extremely poor both in content and presentation and all food was cold, the chicken being wrapped in clingfilm why not foil. We did complain and were refunded for one inedible dish. There is also a 25% room service fee which is very excessive. Please be aware the hotel insist on seeing the dogs innoculation card at check in. We were not advised of this and have never been asked for it before it is normally proof of third party insurance, which we had with us. Luckily they accepted a screen shot of the Vets App showing his vaccination record.

Room - great size and view of the sea/golf/pool. Gym and Spa were a highlight, thanks to Pilar for wonderful treatments and positive energy. Restaurant staff and bar staff were wonderful as were the receptionists. Not too many rooms so very quiet by the pool even though the hotel was full, nobody guarding loungers with towels, drink service by the pool was very nice and chilled. Karina, Barbara, Yago (very kind), Lorena, Cristina all great staff and it isn't an easy job to keep smiling thanks to all for making us feel so welcome. Oh gosh and Alfonso/Marta on arrival, thanks again after our rental was a no show.

Nothing we didn't like

Set in a stunning location so peaceful and relaxing - the rooms are comfortable and spacious with a balcony and beautiful views . Everything is understated but exceptional quality, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the housekeeping is top -only ate in the bar but this was wonderful the food and drinks were such a high standard and excellent quality . The spa is amazing . I cannot fault this parador and I left feeling so relaxed and replenished

This was the only Parador where I was charged for breakfast. When you are already paying premium prices it is a disgrace to charge an additional €23 for breakfast.

Paying for breakfast! Not being told that it’s necessary to first pull the door towards you when entering the room. Two trips to reception before I was told this. Not being allocated a room with a view of the sea when several were available. I had a view of the car park. Not having English speaking staff in the restaurant who could explain the different dishes.

Large bedroom and good gym if you like to workout. Too cold to use the pool when we were there in May, however lovely. Beautiful grounds/sanctuary.

Food at the bar area where we ate was average, a little underwhelming.

Location and design. Perfect for golfing 🏌️‍♀️

The waiters, they forgot many details each order. For example, bread, spoon, knife, glass, sometimes it was difficult to get the check after meals… the vegetarian and vegan offer is minor

I needed a quiet location so I could finish off some work while also going into Valencia for a public event. The seaside location is wonderful and I saw nobody on my pre breakfast walks along the shore even though I walked a long way. peaceful and delightful.

on the Sunday the bar was crowded and service was slow. At breakfast staff twice cleared away my late and cup when I went to get some fruit.

Location was good and the room had a lovely view of the sea and was very spacious. The breakfast was very good.

Service was not that good in the cafe. Had to wait a long time for table service. Bed was a little hard.
