We always wanted to stay at Baya hotel as we visited Capbreton multiple times over the year (staying in a flat of house). So I was very exited when we booked if for a night before heading back home. The hotel has an amazing location just at the beach, a fantastic bar where you can enjoy the sunsetting (we had several excellent ones over the week we were at Capbreton) and a nice restaurant. The romms are slightly dated but good size and the beds were comfortable. So overall a very good stay.

First of all the check in time is not great 4PM in the afternoon is very late .... and for us it was even after that. Staying for one night and having a room from 5pm to 11am .... then the hotel and rooms could do with a slight lift up. Also while we 'partial sea view' we could barely see the sea. All of this for 250 Euros per night. Yes I know it is high season and we stayed just one night but still ,,,,

It’s a shame they do not have the outside pool anymore. The lighting in the beachfront section of the restaurant could be better for evening dining it was very bright. It would be better if they served breakfast longer hours at least until 10:30

Location great, right on the beach, walking distance to harbour and town. Our suite was large with balcony where we watched the sun sink over the sea. Breakfast lovely and very attentive staff

Room decor a little dark and somber for a sea side venue. The lighting in the bathroom could be greatly improved and no full length mirror in the suite, though plenty of room for one. Our major annoyance was the bar manager who told us to wait several times after we signalled we were ready to order a drink over 10 minutes after sitting down. He seemed to be constantly looking at his computer, not the people in front of him. We gave up in the end. We know that bars can be busy, but we contrasted this with the service we got at Nina café just along the way which was faultless- fast, efficient, friendly- something could be learnt from them.

This hotel has a fantastic outside bar over looking the ocean and the hotel sits by the water's edge. The room had recently been refurbished along with the rest of the hotel making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

The hotel looks a little dated, but this cannot be fixed as it is the architecture of the area.

Well presented room with a fantastic view to the north of the bay (side view). The balcony is great for an apero/lunch and people watching. We particularly like having an empty fridge for our own drinks / food. The hotel bar has friendly staff and has a great atmosphere, with lots of people visiting for morning coffee and early evening for aperos.

Having visited previously we prefer the south side of the hotel for the views down to Bayonne and the next-door sports injury recovery hospital. The hotel restaurant is huge and, off season during the week, feels a little intimidating although the food is good.

Everything! The staff was super friendly, the room was great, the view to the water from the restaurant is so nice and the food was delicious. They also were super friendly to my dog and even left a snack in the room for her. They also allow dogs in the restaurant, which is great :D We had a great stay !!

The room had a huge window that made it bright and gave an excellent view of the beach to the north (although there were obviously rooms with even better views of the sea). Good-size balcony. Great breakfast. Very nice bar with a good selection of beer. Very close to the beach, of course, but also several restaurants and bars.

The hotel overall was very smart, the room clean and bright, comfortable enough for a short stay. WC separate from shower and sink. Location is good for beach and bars/restaurants.

Great location right at the beach. Quite some rooms even have ocean view. Everything was modern and clean. Desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The very extensive and varied breakfast was included in the price which was very nice!

The evening restaurant needs a little work though. The food looked very special on the menu but unfortunately it was not. Also the staff kept forgetting us. Overrated food and poor service unfortunately.

excellent position, staff very friendly and helpful. Extremely clean, lovely thick towels in the bathroom. Restaurant and bar were attractive. Everything was faultless. Beautifully presented breakfast. Each member of staff was courteous and helpful.
