Great friendly staff

Booked online and after payment were told we were in an apartment 15 min walk away from hotel. Apartment was lovely and the staff welcoming us were great, but we booked hotel for its location next to ferry, we had a 7 am ferry next morning. So extra walk was not ideal

The close proximity to the old town was my favorite part - besides the friendly staff. Whatever inquiry I had they were eager and glad to help. Really elevated my stay from a 3 to a 4 star experience ✨

My room was on the 3rd floor with a very high roof which meant that I as a relatively short person (164cm or 5'3") wasn't able to look outside at all. On a normal holiday I wouldn't have cared about that at all bc then I would mainly use the room to sleep and rest. But since it was a business trip and I did quite a lot of working from my laptop some kind of view would have been great. All the rooms on levels 1 and 2 do have normal windows, though.

Staff were incredibly friendly - especially the woman on the reception desk in the mornings/afternoons who welcomed me and the man who ran the breakfast. I felt very welcomed. Room was large and modern, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice, the waiter also asked if I needed anything else and if I wanted him to make me some more eggs - which I thought was really nice. Hotel was located in very convenient location right by the Pula arena amphiteatre, coastline and old town.

Lack of proper windows in my room on the third floor which made me feel a little closed in (they were 2 small oval windows which reminded me of being on a boat). They also did not seem to shut properly so kept me awake on my last night which was a Saturday - if I held one of the windows shut with my hand, it shut off the noise but as soon as I let go I could hear the road noises. A mini fridge in the room would be welcome as is the norm in other hotels - would be nice to keep drinks cold especially as the weather was warm.

Location is excellent, i went everywhere walking ,but if you want to visit places nearby local bus is 100 meters far from hotel, just opposite side of Arena . People are very friendly, lovely beaches around. I recommend everybody ,especially young people and solo travelers. All staff very friendly ,especially two ladies at the reception .Warm atmosphere, excellent breakfast

I really can not have any objection

We opted to stay in one of their apartments, not at the hotel itself. The apartment included gated parking (not that safety is an issue). The apartment was impeccably clean and spacious. We had a lovely living room and dining area, three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with shower and tub). The beds were so comfortable. Great night's sleep. We had a small problem during our stay (shower rod fell down), but we reached out to our contact person (who spoke excellent English), who responded promptly.

It would have been nice to have a couple of items in the kitchen like coffee or tea or cereal. After 36 hours of transatlantic travel, it would be nice to have something to start us off. Pula is small and easily walkable, so it wasn't a big deal, but, while we chose the Hotel Amfiteatar for its central location, the apartment is located on the other side of the city (again, all walkable).

Super friendly staff. Great location next to the amphitheatre and a short walk to the Old Town (left out of the hotel). The Kastel and it's tunnels are worth a visit. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the ferry port even with luggage (right out of the hotel). We left before breakfast so they made us a packed lunch to take away, which was much appreciated.

Staff were friendly, informative and knowledgeable or would get the information for you if they did not know at the moment. The hotel is located near attractions and some of the best foods in the area. As well as, 10-15 minutes walk to the central bus station if you want to go on a day excursion outside of the city to other cities and to the bus/shuttle that takes you to the airport and back which is 10 minutes direct ride away compared to 3x as much if you paid for taxi for the same ride time.

Personally, the pillows were a little too soft for me which were not good for my neck. Also, the bed was soft and creaked with every turn. The continental breakfast was okay. Could offer more variety of vegetables, though.

Perfect location, walking distance to the points of interest and lots of shops and restaurants. When we told them we were leaving early in the morning they offered to make a take-away breakfast box up because we would miss the breakfast. It was waiting for us in the morning! What a lovely extra! The staff really were attentive to ours and others’ needs too.

The apartment is "off-site" meaning it's not in the same spot as the hotel but it's still very close to the centre and on top of it offers parking which is lovely if you arriver by car. The walk to the centre is about 10-15 minutes, which I think is a great exchange for the peace and quiet you get. So you're basically really close to the centre of events, but the neighborhood is calm and quiet. We loved our stay here even if it was only one night :)
