Beautiful place with the most friendly and helpful staff. The bungalows are spacious, comfy and we'll serviced. Pool is peaceful and deep! The food was also good, breakfast two nights and one evening meal which was delicious.

The only minor downside was works to a bridge nearby meant a longer detour for tuk tuks and taxis, but the hotel could still arrange good rates for transport into the town and believe the bridge should reopen in October 23

Beautiful tropical setting, very peaceful. Great pool! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great. A tip if you're arriving by train: it's a short 700m walk to the resort from the train station, not 2.5km over the main bridge as Google maps will show. Don't go out the front exit at the station, but make your way over the tracks to the back and you'll find yourself in the street that the resort is on.

I had a great stay! The room was big and comfortable, the staff is super helpful, and the garden surrounding the property is beautiful (my favorite part). I also enjoyed the pool (reasonable size) and the breakfast had all the essentials. Keep in mind that the hotel is located quite near of the railway station and just outside the historical center. To go to the historical center and move around, I used grab (the taxi application), the boat and bicycle (provided by the hotel for free). The hotel can also help book transportation. Since I appreciate calm places with beautiful nature, this was perfect for me.

Baan Thai House is an oasis, just across the river from the bustling town of Ayutthaya. Its historic temples are so interesting and well worth visiting, and for more than just a day trip. The property is on a lagoon and very peaceful. The Thai Villa is original and on stilts but had all the modern conveniences like AC. The staff was very helpful when we arrived, indicating how to get to the historic center by bike and excellent restaurants that were a tuk-tuk ride away. We used their bicycles and crossed the river by ferry which was a fun experience, then we biked through the market to the monuments. We recommend spending more than one night. Highly recommended.

The hospitality in Baan Thai was second to none. Each member of staff was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The accommodation was so authentically Thai and the bed was really comfortable. We had most of our meals here and each dish was better than the last. The Panang curry was my favourite. The resort is just out of the hustle and bustle and is tucked away in an oasis of water and plant and animal life. The pool is fantastic and is a lovely warm temperature. The kids stayed in it for hours. There is a little lake in the centre of the resort and the kids had so much fun rowing around it for hours. I had a massage here too and it was really great. The staff here can organise tours of the temples by boat. We did the 2 hour, 3 temple tour which was just enough considering we had children and the temperatures. A tuk-tuk collected us from the resort and brought us back again. I’ve stayed on many places throughout Thailand, and this place is top of my list. It has everything you’d imagine a stay in Thailand should be. Would 100% recommend this to everyone.

Nothing. It was perfect!

The pool its self was lovely! but it is a mineral water pool, so DO NOT wear anything with White in it, it turned bright orange with the iron in the water and it does not come out! So steer well clear of the pool with any White on your clothes or bikini. ours are now ruined, this was not only from this pool, but from other pools in thailand. let me be clear, its a lovely pool, if you have a black bikini on!! :-) the surrounding are beautiful! for the rest, the place is top notch, food, rooms, staff, massage, cleanliness!! 10 out of 10!!

Mineral swimming pool, you get orange clothes from the iron in the water! dont wear anything white!

Lovely oasis in an underrated wonderful Thai town which deserves more time and exploration. I really enjoyed the villa room and lovely staff as well as the pool and grounds. Short and cheap tuktuk ride into town and traditional boat noodles.

You can skip the breakfast. Staff forgot to arrange my massage booked from the night before, but this led to only a short delay - not a big deal. Crowd around the pool was very European and some of the hotel restaurant recommendations reflected the spice-aversion of their typical clientele rather than authentic local spots.

Women owned and operated resort with kind and generous staff located in a charming tradition setting. Every question ( and there were many…) answered patiently. Transport to sights near: Historical Park, Night Market, to restaurants and far: Bang Pa-In and to Bangkok organised quickly and always with a smile. Do try to enjoy the restaurant. Their cooking is absolutely delicious!

We managed but lighting in the room could have been better.

We received a lovely welcome as we arrived and help with our bags. Help with arranging our visit with helpful map, information, help with taxis and tuk tuks. Lovely fresh breakfast and good choice. Beautiful gardens and layout of rooms. We would very much recommend this hotel.

Our traditional Thai house was lovely and we enjoyed it. However, we found the air con a bit temperamental but reception were able to help. It was very hot outside 35 degrees so at those temperatures maybe bear in mind as an older building it is not as well insulated to keep as cool.

Thai hospitality at it's best! Welcoming, friendly staff with a special mention to Aoi, who made sure everything was taken care of. She arranged tuktuks for us, laundry to be done, recommended places to see, and restaurant recommendations. The on-site massages (for an extra charge of THB400/hour) were authentic Thai and very relaxing in an air-conditioned room overlooking the pool. The free breakfast included cooked eggs and fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast, cakes and pastries, and a different Thai delicacy each day + espresso coffee (or tea), orange juice, water. There was also a lunch and dinner menu so we didn't have to venture out for other meals if we didn't want to. We had a garden view villa, which had a comfortable bed, good pressure shower  instant electric heated, and air conditioning and 2 bottles of complimentary water each day. The grounds are well manicured and such a pretty setting with a pond in the middle. The pool had plenty of loungers around to relax on and was a warm temperature and deep at one end. A perfect place to relax after visiting the Ayutthaya Historical Park.
