Nicely furnished property. Receptionist were friendly, approachable and helpful. Hotel rooms were well-maintained and equipped with the necessities.

The breakfast was not that fantastic. Large variety of food but they were mostly served cold and of average taste. That was unexpected of a 5 stars hotel. Thus, it was not worth it to pay for that kind of quality and standard.

This one that really irritates me is when I have to call 3 times for towel and pillow. I waited for an hour for them to come. This delay my sleep for at least 90 mins as I was preparing to shower while waiting for the towels. From 11pm to 12am.. when the towel came, you can see the staff is not happy. And, parking tickets got issue even when it’s validated at the counter. The machine at the exit of the carparks cannot read my ticket.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Johor Bahru, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the warm and professional staff made me feel welcome and well-cared-for. Location: The hotel is conveniently located near key attractions and shopping areas, making it easy to explore Johor Bahru. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, the location is ideal. Room: My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with modern decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including the well-stocked minibar and high-quality toiletries. Dining: The dining options at Renaissance JB are impressive. I had the chance to try breakfast at Café BLD, and the variety of dishes was fantastic. The buffet spread included both local and international cuisine, with something to suit every palate. The chefs clearly put a lot of effort into ensuring each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Facilities: The hotel's facilities are top-notch. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the swimming pool offers a relaxing escape with a great view of the city. The spa services are also worth mentioning – I enjoyed a wonderful massage that left me feeling rejuvenated. Service: What truly sets Renaissance Johor Bahru apart is the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. They were always available to assist with any requests and provided valuable recommendations for things to do in the area. Overall: My stay at Renaissance Johor Bahru was nothing short of excellent. The combination of a great location, comfortable accommodations, excellent dining options, and outstanding service made for a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Johor Bahru and will definitely return on my next trip.

The price too expensive

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with warm smiles, which made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from – there was something for everyone. The overall experience was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. However, the pillows weren’t quite to my liking.

love the breakfast buffet!! stayed only for 2 nights and able to go for breakfast for 2 days and i love how the menus changed a bit and theres variety of choices :) really enjoyed staying here and all the staffs are nice too! this is my first 5 star hotel and honestly think its worth the money

booked the hotel for my friend's wedding and she sent her wedding dress for press-on iron? a bit disappointed on the dress that we received back because the dress still have some obvious wrinkles on it so my friend had to self iron it herself on the night before her wedding. also, i dont think the staffs did anything to the veil that we sent because there were wrinkles on the whole veil. wished someone could steam ironed it instead

It was comfortable. There was ample parking and access to the hotel lobby from the parking was not difficult. There was security guards.

The security guards couldn't communicate (limited english/malay) and they were not sure on how to manage a minor parking glitch (he wasn't sure how to handle scan the free parkng ticket code). Staff should be familiar with the process. Also, the walls of the room seem to be quite thin because we were hearing some noises (bumps and knocks) in the middle of the night.

The hotel is situated nearby many local eateries. The staff are always helpful and have a smile on thier faces.

The condiments like ketchup are in a bottle which maybe be hard to pop it out. The butter are one lump not like the hotel usual individually packed. Other than this small issue the rest are excellent would recommend friends and family to stay. I would definitely come back again.

The staffs are all so friendly and very accomodating to my request. It was my husband's birthday and to our surprise, they decorated the room nicely in celebration for his birthday. There was also complimentary slice of cake given to us. DEFINITELY coming back with my parents soon.

The dinner buffet cost RM88 per person due to a promotion BUT the spread doesnt have a lot of choices per to what we have seen in social media. The breakfast spread was alright but we have experience better options in other hotels across JB.

The service from the all the staff at the hotel was great. Warm & friendly. Everything was seamless. They were so kind to set up the room as it was our anniversary. Which was really nice. We appreciate it so much. Thank you! The breakfast spread was awesome too alot of choices! Definitely will be back

The hotel is quite old. The room has a little dusty, musky smell to it. Not really great for someone with sensitive nose.

Service recovery was good but however it would be good to relook at the room check in process and to priortise family with young baby as it is also challenging to wait for the rooms in the lobby for 3 hours ( and also after the check in time of 3pm).
