A lovely hotel just inside the walls of the old village. There was a more modern looking annex with parking near by just outside the village walls. I had a lovely room in the old building, high up with a view across the deep valley below. The hotel was handy for everything in the old village and walks in the area. Be prepared for hills and flights of steps due to nature of terrain. Suggest walking along the Sacred Way foot path to the modern village then returning via the Corniche footpath which brings you out at the upper level of the sanctuary in the old village. Then it a walk down the steps back to the main street of the old village. There are of course two separate lift to go up to the top from the Main Street. The hotel restaurant was nice and breakfasts extensive. Hotel very helpfully recommended a local taxi firm for the 4 km journey from and back to the railway station. They were very reliable and helpful. Buses from the station only run in the summer season.

Didn't like the coffee provided at breakfast, but no problem as the tea was good with selection of Earl Grey etc.

I liked the situation of the hotel just at the entrance to the village with its views over the valley below Rocamadour and its good facilities. It was lovely to see the swallows flying around at the level of my window. It was very peaceful in the hotel though the village was busy during the day time, but quiet in the mornings and evenings. A variety of nice walks in the countryside if you didn't mind some steep climbs and steps and stairs. The bus from the station only runs in summer and the station is about 4 Km from the village, but the hotel very helpfully recommended a local taxi firm who were very friendly and reliable. I was in the old part of the hotel which I liked, but the hotel also has a more modern annex just outside the the village walls and its own parking there.

The only thing I didn't like was the coffee at breakfast, but the tea was very good so that didn't bother me. The rest of breakfast was very good and the restaurant staff were very helpful and considerate and food for dinner was good.

The position is the best. In the street of the old section. Just walk out of the door and you have the historic street, shops, cafes and the stairs to the most amazing hillside church and stations of the cross. We loved Rocamadour. Drove to Gouffre de Padirac to see the caves - absolutely fantastic and then to Martel for pizza. Great couple of days

We were lucky because in early May it was not busy so we were guaranteed a park - but parking is not guaranteed and in peak season this would be a problem.

I liked the communication with the staff both in French and in English, which helped make our stay comfortable but also enjoyable. Parking was available and right outside our accommodation. Spot on. The advice from the staff enabled our onward journey to the caves at Goufrey de Padirac to proceed in plenty of time with a hearty breakfast inside us!

The bedroom was sufficient but a little basic, and with some small ants to contend with. However, this in no way affected our stay and it was swiftly forgotten.

Located at the top of the tourist strip was a blessing as we walked in and there was the hotel. Also being picked by cab was almost at front door.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities. We were directed to a Restaurant across the street to request hot water. All worked well but the restaurant was not open all the time.

All was fine, including restaurant and food.

Shorter walk from reception to the room which was the farthest it could be meethinks... Also, we travelled for nearly 4 hours to have that specific weekend to experience the balloon festival, which was cancelled due to "elf n safety" apparently, best check before travel.. Very disappointing, not the hotels fault though.

A quiet and clean hotel in the medieval town. The lady on reception was lovely. We loves that our room had a balcony. Great shower and wifi. Very comfortable. We had a lovely time.

It was all great but we should have headed down to the medieval part of the town to get to the hotel. We didn't realise and found parking at one of the sites at the top.

The location was great on the main street in Rocamadour not far from the lift up to the Sanctuary. Plus it has it's own car park just along the street, a real bonus.

The lounge area wasn't serving drinks We had to go to the restaurant across the street.

Great value. Super comfortable. Amazing location! Easy to park and access.

Only downside was visiting in off season and the town was virtually shuttered. I wish we'd have known that. Nevertheless, the hotel staff was welcoming, and we had a great visit.

The hotel was perfectly situated to explore this beautiful town. Stunning views everywhere you looked. Restaurants & bars close by. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was delicious & served in the restaurant with picturesque views.
