We found the hotel to be incredibly stylish with lots of amenities, incredibly close to lots of shops, restaurants, the port and a great starting place for anyone wanting to hike. Plus the staff for incredibly friendly and helpful.

There was really only two things I could say as a negative- one is that you do need to be careful if you’ve got a mezzanine balcony as we kept it in our heads on the beams and the second is that we found the gym equipment was in the way of the view I made the area quite tight when you were sitting in the lounge area by the hot tub

Loved the location, so close to the port! And plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I admit, when I booked this apartment I was under the impression the hot tub was private to our room (my fault for not reading the description thoroughly). It was not, but it wasn't an issue. We used the cool tub twice and the hot tub once and had it to ourselves each time. The cool tub was the perfect way to cool off after a hot day of exploring.

The only thing we didn't love were the stairs to reach the apartment. They would be difficult for someone with more limited mobility. But it wasn't a big issue for us.

The position is amazing, and the staff if you could find them are super nice… but not easy to see them around

I was expecting a bit better for this price, the room/apartaments they are a bit narrow the stairs to go to bed not easy to access and with the luggage even worst Towel needs an upgrade they look very used And they don’t clean the room automatically but you have to hang on the door the request

The location was perfect, very conveniently places next to the shaded morning cafe of of the port. Amazing service -cleaning every day and supportive host. Patties and his wife Litsa have a great sense of hospitality. Lovely mattresses and even the room was a little small, it was reasonably priced and well decorated to make it perfect for a family of four. Air con, lovely little touches of toothbrushes and toothpaste. Luxurious shampoo, shower gel etc. TV and Wi-Fi

An adorable small hotel with just 4 rooms converted from an old stone house. The backyard went up steeply to 3 small terraces with 2 hot tubs and seating areas that had amazing views. The location was just 50 meters away from the port and only had 26 steps to the front door. The room decor was awesome. The owner was super nice and responsive.

Excellent location, great staff and the owners of the Porta Del Mare. We were also impressed that the owners tried to find us a doctor during the night when the local hospital showed complete unwillingness. Finally, a local doctor visited us and assisted. Thans to the owners and the gentle doctor (she did not say her name).

Amazing Location, quite yet so close to everything

Where to start? The place was well maintained, location amazing, and they made me feel welcome. They always had great suggestions of places to try and they connected me with the best physiotherapist (Giannis at Evexia.) I enjoyed the stay so much that booked an additional night and they went above and beyond again to find me space. I cant say enough wonderful things about this place or Hydra!

This was a last-minute booking on our end. We could not have had a better stay! The staff was so kind and attentive. The location was perfect. Right close to the port but secluded enough to relax. The rooms were immaculate.

Great locations, easy access from port. Super friendly host who was always accessible via email on the app. Small boutique property. Gorgeous terrace.
