Very pleasant breakfast and pretty good food. The room was very nice and comfortable. Beautiful lobby.

We arrived an hour before check in. The lobby bar was closed. A more pleasant wait if the bar had been open. We had called and the hostess had said she thought we would be able to check in early so we took the chance. Complementary bottles of water in the room would be nice. The side door was open when we went out with no warning that it would be locked later in the day, so we were surprised to have to walk around to get back in. A sign on the door saying when it will be locked would be nice (or guest key access would be even better.)

Everything was great to my expectations. I'm grateful for this hotel.

I booked two rooms but was told only one was in their system. Fortunately, they had rooms available that night, which didn't get us embarrassed after a long day ride then. I'm not sure if I could trust you in the future. Can you please tell me what was wrong?

I booked thinking it was Durham UK. When arrived to check in was told I had booked the one in Durham USA.....I was mortified but the Staff at Durham were brilliant and sorted it all out.

Just a small thing, breakfast wasn't the best we've had, but was ok.

Traveled for a Dance Competition that was held at the Durham Convention Center that is connected to the Marriott. This made it very convenient when the girls were not dancing to go relax in the room.

The price...but it was worth it for the convenience. Other hotels in the same area are similarly priced.

Property pretty bland - decor basic & room very generic; restaurant & bar food uninspired & basic; bathroom partially updated but bath/shower dated and rusty

I got charged for valet parking when I didn’t use it but they were very nice about fixing the bill and refunding me that amount

My boyfriend experienced an unexpected medical emergency during our stay, and the hotel staff were so caring and accommodating, doing whatever they could to help us. They truly went above and beyond!

The added charge for valet parking (which was really the only viable option) was unexpected.

Excelent location, with many places to visit in walking distance (dinning, markets, museums, shops)! Friendly staff, always happy to help!

Close proximity to the venue and restaurants. The staff was great 👍! Room was clean and the view was fantastic! Breakfast was fantastic!

Parking was a bit of a issue. For the price of the room, parking should be included. There were several events happening in town that weekend. It made for difficult parking.

The room was gorgeous and the staff was exceptionally nice. The hotel is perfectly located with tons of access of restaurants and activities. My daughter and I felt safe and had an amazing stay.

More information about parking would have been helpful but that was probably my fault for not reading further.
