The staff were all fantastic! The hotel was always wonderfully clean and tidy. The rooms were spacious, with towels and a hairdryer provided. The breakfasts were absolutely beautiful. The shuttle bus was excellent and extremely helpful. Restaurants, pubs, cafes and Duke University all within walking distance.

I enjoyed the spacious room, the comfortable beds, and the cable options. The hotel is also in a nice location in Durham, very close to everything fun!

I wish complimentary breakfasts were still available, but I understand why they went away. Outside of that, nothing else to really complain about.

Price seems a little steep for what it is. It's a good chain hotel that meets expectations, but there's nothing really special. The main appeal is the location near Duke and the hospital

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The text message service was useful to ask for more towels and pillows for the room.

The breakfast was hit and miss; one dish we had was delicious, one was quite lacking.

Dinner - pleased with options and what we ordered. Bartender and Chef were especially attentive. Kudos Expected more options for breakfast. Had two egg sandwiches made which were fine. The one girl, with a strong accent, did not know what an egg sandwich was!! Was ok as another staffer took over and had order made quickly. My wife is disabled and pleased with the size of the room and the shower area.

In the room, there should be a TV channels guide. Heard other customers complaining about this as well. A customer asked to see the Tennis Open at the bar and no one knew how to find it! Why? There was not a guide. Customer guessed three times and finally got the station. Coffee bar in room did not have any sweeteners or cream! What's that all about? Learned too late that there was a shuttle. Would have taken that if I knew as we were going to Duke's Neurology Building and would have been easier for wife and me to be driven there.

The inviting atmosphere was welcoming with exceptional customer service in the reception area and throughout the hotel. Bathroom showers were a dream with a wonderful body message. The beds were so comfortable with a ‘to die for’ mattress for a soothing sleep environment. Thank you

There was limited room service. All meals were purchased outside. However, there was a snack bar available.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Especially head waitress and shuttle driver, went out of their way to help me.

Location was ideal, short walk to reach the main center with restaurant and stores. Staff very friendly and hospitable.

How hot it was outside but that’s out of anyone’s control. Nothing to complain about besides that.

The room was clean and close to our event

There was NO free breakfast and in a room with two queen sized beds and a party of 4, there were only 3 sets of towels.

Location was ideal for visiting our aged mother. Breakfast food was very good. Room service was very fast. Beds were very comfortable.

Did not like the manner in which breakfast was served, and service was slow due to understaffing. The front desk was nice and efficient, but did not thoroughly explain answers to questions I had. Room was much more expensive than I expected.
