The hotel itself is a stone's throw from the main town which is great if you want to walk in to town and have an evening - the pool is very welcome and we were travelling across N Spain to Rioja on motorcycles and needed a comfy, clean and AC'd place which the Sercotel delivers in spades - lovely modern room with cool interior and clean bathroom and shower - excellent price for the level of accomodation and would go back and stay again if I was travelling this way - the breakfast was very good and a buffet which you can eat as much as you like, if you want to. Staff friendly and spoke English - Pool very clean and attended by a staff member -

NOthing - there is nothing to dislike

The accommodation exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were professional and attentive, ensuring that my business trip went smoothly. The room was impeccably clean and equipped with all the modern amenities, making my stay very comfortable.

It's challenging to pinpoint anything I didn't like given the high standard of service. However, every establishment can benefit from continuous improvement, perhaps in updating some facilities or expanding the breakfast variety even further.

Great location and it had it’s own swimming pool

Some locals have their wedding at the hotel so check before you book as the weddings ceremonies are outside beside the swimming pool and if relaxing at the pool there is a lot of people around.

We always stay here when we come to Palencia (once or twice a year) and find the place comfortable.

There were a lot of people staying in the hotel while we were there and the breakfast room was pretty full but without sufficient staff to keep track of everything.

The location and the helpfulness of the staff. The beds were also very comfortable.

We stayed in two rooms, one was lovely with nice colour on the walls and warm light, the other was white with white lights and felt quite cold and tired. The bathroom could do with a revamp. Our shower head had to be tested on the floor as the holder was not stable.

Excellent lunch in the restaurant- one of the best meals I have had recently. Easy parking- peaceful pool area. Loved the white sofas there. Helpful reception lady

A bit dated, one A/C unit in room did not work, they don’t mention that the pool is let out to local schools, so before 2pm it is full of kids ( like…hundreds…haha )

Super helpful and kind staff who let us stay at the pool after check out. Good location near an avenue with bars and restaurants.

Great location and good value for money for whoever has a car : it is very easy to park the car on the street (even though not mentioned in the hotel description at least when we went there i.e. out of season). Lovely and helpful staff

The breakfast could have been better : not many things on offer and quality average
