The hotel itself was perfect, and I would have been totally satisfied, had it not been for the argument regarding the dogs accompanying us and refusing to refund me on a cancellation once charges were added for the dogs. The hotel should not have been permitted to load the booking as non-refundable without the extra charges they wanted being disclosed up front before taking our money, then refusing to permit s cancellation once without refund once they disclosed the extra charges. Management refused to budge, but in the end agreed to not charge the extras.The mini fridge in the room was useful, particularly as it was not mentioned on the booking page and the location was perfect and in a great area of the city in the pedestrianised restaurant and bar area. Parking at the hotel was expensive, but fortunately there was a cheap paid parking area practically outside the hotel.

All was good except the attitude of the management as described above.

The location was good for visiting the town centre, close to shops, restaurants and the tourist attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable.

There is space to park your car outside the hotel for unloading luggage only. The parking underneath the hotel was good, and we had no problem driving the car in and out. However, it was confusing to get to and from the hotel and garage, as there was no direct access. You need a key from reception, and you must use a lift from the garage that comes up a short distance from the hotel up the side of a pastry shop. This was not explained to us when we arrived, so ensure you ask for these details when you check-in.

The hotel is so clean and of high standards - it was perfect and the room was so comfortable clean with AC and given how hot it was it was really welcomed. The breakfast was very nice too and the location perfect to have a little walk around the town in the evening and have drink and dinner. The staff were great too at helping with everything. There was parking although 14euros per night.

Everything was good - just paying extra for parking

The property is in a good central location with walking distance of everything in the city centre. Everything felt spotlessly clean and the staff were very courteous and friendly. My room (219) was enormous and very comfortable for my two night stay.

The supplement to use the hotel car park is €20 per day however there is lots of free or very inexpensive parking nearby.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. The room was large and comfortable, as was the bed. We paid to park in the hotel car park (such charges in city centres seem to be the norm in Spain), and used it without difficulty, though we were guided by previous reviews describing how to exit as pedestrians. The hotel is close to the Plaza Mayor, where we had a good supper and breakfast.

Rooms are very clean and good size. Receptionist was excellent. We requested a specific room based on our last visit, the hotel acknowledged this on arrival but as this room was occupied they gave us a similar quiet room on another floor which we enjoyed just as well. Parking is secure and easy to access as we have a large SUV. Easy walking distance to the main areas.

Didn't like booking.com constantly sending messages on the app to pay extra to upgrade to a room with private bathroom. The website clearly says the room had a private bathroom. We contacted the hotel in advance and they confirmed that ALL of the hotel bedrooms had private bathrooms. Booking.com is playing games! But good efficient communication from the hotel.

We arrived during the power cut in Spain, Portugal and France so a check in with a light from a mobile was not the norm, power returned a few hours later and everything was then just fine and a cracking 1 night stay with parking and a cheeky breakfast in the hotel bar instead of the restaurant was just perfect.

Nothing we were still able to check in even though the power was down.

Very spacious and comfortable room in a great location. A few minutes from the Plaza Mayor and the main shopping area. Plus, 10 minutes from the Cathedral. Comfortable bed and a large bathroom with large shower enclosure. Our room was very quiet with views over looking a mainly residential square at the back of the hotel. We opted for the parking option which we found helpful especially as the car was rather loaded down.

It might have been easier if your room key operated the doors to the garage rather than having to ask for a separate fob each time. However, I suspect that was for security reasons and wasn’t really a problem.

A old fashion business hotel with renovated rooms. Secure parking. Comfortable and functional.

The parking is not directly accessable from the hotel. You still have to ask for a key each time you go to the garage. As you are paying for the garage then you should be issued your own key for the duration of the stay - like everywhere else.

The area is very central and there is a good resturant/cafe connected to the hotel that we used for lunch and sometimes dinner.

The staying was OK, but unfortunately the WiFi in the room was very unstable so I had to work from the lobby, but the hotel gave me a discount due to that.
