The location was good for visiting the town centre, close to shops, restaurants and the tourist attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable.

There is space to park your car outside the hotel for unloading luggage only. The parking underneath the hotel was good, and we had no problem driving the car in and out. However, it was confusing to get to and from the hotel and garage, as there was no direct access. You need a key from reception, and you must use a lift from the garage that comes up a short distance from the hotel up the side of a pastry shop. This was not explained to us when we arrived, so ensure you ask for these details when you check-in.

Rooms are very clean and good size. Receptionist was excellent. We requested a specific room based on our last visit, the hotel acknowledged this on arrival but as this room was occupied they gave us a similar quiet room on another floor which we enjoyed just as well. Parking is secure and easy to access as we have a large SUV. Easy walking distance to the main areas.

Didn't like booking.com constantly sending messages on the app to pay extra to upgrade to a room with private bathroom. The website clearly says the room had a private bathroom. We contacted the hotel in advance and they confirmed that ALL of the hotel bedrooms had private bathrooms. Booking.com is playing games! But good efficient communication from the hotel.

Very spacious and comfortable room in a great location. A few minutes from the Plaza Mayor and the main shopping area. Plus, 10 minutes from the Cathedral. Comfortable bed and a large bathroom with large shower enclosure. Our room was very quiet with views over looking a mainly residential square at the back of the hotel. We opted for the parking option which we found helpful especially as the car was rather loaded down.

It might have been easier if your room key operated the doors to the garage rather than having to ask for a separate fob each time. However, I suspect that was for security reasons and wasn’t really a problem.

A old fashion business hotel with renovated rooms. Secure parking. Comfortable and functional.

The parking is not directly accessable from the hotel. You still have to ask for a key each time you go to the garage. As you are paying for the garage then you should be issued your own key for the duration of the stay - like everywhere else.

The area is very central and there is a good resturant/cafe connected to the hotel that we used for lunch and sometimes dinner.

The staying was OK, but unfortunately the WiFi in the room was very unstable so I had to work from the lobby, but the hotel gave me a discount due to that.

Dog friendly, exceptionally clean, spacious rooms, locations was walking distance to everything and great fresh breakfast.

Originally placed in 3rd floor which was the top floor of the hotel but there was apartments above and above our room they were having a party Kate at night. We asked to move and they bought up a new key for a different room immediately.

Palencia is quite a big town but the hotel was easy to find with no one way/narrow streets to contend with. What a fantastic room, I think the bed was the biggest I’ve ever been in, it was so comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a bath with a shower. There was a fridge, a long side table with a chair and a TV which had one English channel, BBC European news. It was a very short walk to the Plaza Major and a wonderful pedestrianised shopping street. We parked at the public car park to the right of the hotel, which had a reasonable maximum fee of €13.50 and we were told it is pretty safe. The hotel has its own underground car park but as we came upon the public one first we stayed there. We paid €76 for the room with our dog.

There was absolutely nothing to not like.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean with good powerful shower. Well located for walking around the historic sites.

Disabled access coul have been better - ramps too steep and almost impossible to get to the restaurant but staff laid us a table instead in the inner vestibule by the cafe area which was very kind of them

The hotel location is convenient. It is a short 10 minute or less walk from the train station. It is close to attractions as well as the downtown area. There is a market across the street if you want to grab any snacks. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. The property is well cared for. We did not eat at the hotel as we were in the area to visit a friend and would eat in town or in neighboring towns. The price was excellent as we were in Spain from the US to visit a friend. We enjoyed the great location of Palencia to see other towns. We definitely want to return another time to explore more. We would highly recommend this hotel!!

A little coffee maker in the room would have been a nice plus. However, it isn’t a deal breaker because there are several places within a short distance to get a coffee & pastry and just relax.

Nice room with reasonable size balcony with furniture. Friendly staff. Good location short walk from Plaza Mayor.

Hotel bar lively so pity to see it close Sunday afternoon when so many places already do in Spain.
