The location. The gentleman at reception when we arrived was very nice. the facilities were clean.

The lady that was there at breakfast was ok, but not that friendly. She did her job...but also very busy on her mobile. Lots of vans parked which looked like they were going to sleep in the car park. Makes the place look unsafe. I didn't like and didn't expect that the toilets and showers were shared and that there were not towels. The room was very small for 3 beds and the beds were also too small.

This f1 was really good value for money and was exactly as the picture showed. There is ample free parking right outside the property. The room and bed were clean and very comfortable. Outside there were some picnic benches which were great. There were some limited vending-style snack foods and drinks available.

There is no elevator, so up and down the stairs was unwelcome in motorbike gear - even though I'd asked for a ground floor room. Getting access to the hotel and room upon arrival was done using a touch screen system outside. It meant photoing passwords/codes as the printer was marked as broken. It was an OK system, but without any staff initially it was a bit clunky and awkward. There seemed to be a pervading smell of cannabis being smoked.

The proprietor was very, very friendly and helpful. Just an amazing guy. The rooms were small but clean.

It's out of town, so one has to rely on the restaurants close-by unless you want to drive into town. And as France goes, these are not to great, and pretty pricey.

Closeness to my journey route , cost .

It was tired and not as clean as other F1's I'd stayed in on the same trip . F1 Tours Nord for example was same price, but clean and fresh . So don't tell me you get what you pay for. F1 and similar hotels are value for money they need not be dirty and scruffy because they're budget .
