Good breakfast, although not available at weekends. Great seating area in the penthouse.

Arrived in 30 plus degree temperatures. Sun had been on the building all day, shutters left open and no air-conditioning. Hotel is unstaffed in the evenings so we spent a very uncomfortable night. However fans were provided the following morning once we were able to speak to staff.

We had stayed at the Arkadia before, and had always wanted to stay in one of the penthouse suites. It did not disappoint. Lots of room, very peaceful nights' sleep, good being high up, plus a nice view of the wooded hills; ideal for relaxing at the end of the day. Good cooking facilities. We did not take breakfast - there is a local REWE supermarket for all your food needs.

Another reading light in the living area would be useful. A kettle would be good - and/or a coffee maker would be great!

Room was spacious and had even fridge and stove. Breakfast was good for this room rate (specially because of exhibitions in the city). Hotel was very close to railway station and train S5 went directly to Frankfurt exhibition center. Restaurants can be find within 600m radius.

Because reception is open only limited time it VERY difficult to check in. Lack of English spoken personnel

The rooms were clean and there was an iron to borrow. It's an apartment type of hotel.

There was no breakfast on weekends, but we got good recommendations. The hotel hadn't received the credit card details via Booking.com, and the keycard box system was not very reliable to use.

I have stayed here before. The location is excellent – close to the railway station and only a short walk into town. The reception was as pleasant and efficient as always. Parking was easy in the integral garage, wifi good and easy to access. Arkadia is very dog-friendly, too.

Kitchen provision in the room was less good than it used to be – there was literally only one of each piece of crockery and cutlery. This seems to have been a policy amendment to cope with the pandemic cleansing, but it is really awkward for guests when coupled with no provision of washing up materials ( no liquid, no sponge or cloth, no drying cloth, no dishwasher). I’d recommend checking early on arrival if something is usually provided in case this was simply an oversight in my room. I didn’t need much, since I was out with family for meals etc. so didn’t query it myself.
