As a budget hotel, it was more than expected. The room was spacious and came with a balcony with mountain and partial sea views. The area was a bit remote from the center, but there was a super convenient city bus (#1)(1.5 euro) frequently running between he KTEL terminal and the hotel and running though the city center. The owner was very nice and friendly.

The hospitality of the owner, his kindness and that he waited up for me when I arrived around 1am and helped with my luggage. He was always cheerful ready for a conversation and friendly to everyone.

The drain in the bathroom sometimes was a bit smelly.

The stay in Kalamata was amazing. The owner was so polite, respectful and friendly. He greeted me by name every time I saw him. The room was very comfortable and roomy, I had a great time. Would definitely stay back here again if I come back to Kalamata.

The only additional would be for a “do not disturb” sign on the door but it is not a big issue and doesn’t really matter.

Very uncomfortable beds and pillows to the extent it can be a deal breaker for some. Bedsheets clean but the room not so much. Dated objects/decoration etc. (e.g. the water tank got stuck sometimes). No lift.

This family owned hotel was fantastic value for money, the hosts were very helpful and their beach restaurant across the road was a great place to chill /swim with excellent food.

It’s a little dated

This was a typically old school Greek hotel . very simple & basic but very clean . I had a twin room and as a single female traveler felt very safe . This hotel was right opposite the beach & I had a side balcony with excellent views . The guy in reception was extremely friendly , check in was easy & location was perfect . i needed somewhere to stay last minute for 1 night & this was perfect for me . A few great tavernas within seconds of walking . Near to shops & Bars . it suited me for what I needed .

For the price & Location I had no complaints but you must understand this is a basic hotel .

location was fab, perfect for a weekend away right next the beach near loads of nice bars and restaurants price was perfect for short stays best bed I've slept on in a while very clean run by lovely people. felt very safe as its not a tourist place people were surprised i was English but everyone was friendly

balcony view was not great but didn't use it anyway so its not a big issue

Very welcoming and helpful host (provided me bowl/spoon for morning cereal and coffee mug). Great view from balcony, across street from beach. Super clean. Heat and AC. Bed a bit of a “rock” but not uncomfortable, pillows that didn’t retain heat and make you sweat.

Smallish room but as advertised. No restaurant but several nearby. Smallish, but not tiny, bathroom. 5 flights of stairs to get to 1st floor (what Americans call 2nd floor). Didn’t notice in listing, no elevator. Not a big deal except when bringing in luggage. No parking but found place on street next to hotel.

An exceptional host. A comfortable and clean Hotel on the beach. We loved our stay here. The hotel is right on the beachfront. We were able to enjoy the beach morning, noon, and evening, being only metres from our hotel. The room and ensuite were very clean, included air conditioning, and the beds were comfortable. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside on our private balcony, and getting-up in the morning to the spectacular view of the beach and coastline. After a long day, we were able to sit on the balcony in the evening with a drink and a view of the sea. Our host also helped us arrange travel routes to Olympia, including bus and taxi times for the next morning - really making the trip worthwhile! We plan to stay here again. We look forward to booking our next stay at Alexandrion hotel. Christopher & Donna

Great price point for a hotel right on the beach, services all very close by and a large public parking lot 150m away.

Not their fault but there's a fair amount of traffic on the main drag even on a Sunday night, it's a little noisy
