The staff is really friendly and nice, they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy. Bed and bedding were comfortable. The bathroom was great and so was the view from the room. The big windows made the room really bright, but the big curtains completely blacked out the room for sleeping. Continental breakfast with tasty coffee, I especially liked their version of the Swiss Birchermüesli. Dinner in the hotel’s restaurant was delicious, the seasonal specialties are cooked very well. 100% recommend if staying in Disentis! The owners are very kind and will make sure you have the best stay possible.

The hotel is perfectly situated, just few steps from Disentis train station. This is very convenient as from the train station it is possible to take bus connecting to Disentis gonodola or (ski)train connecting to other ski installations in Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis area. The room is nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good, and there is also possibility to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. The hosts are very welcoming and willing to help or give advice to make your stay in this beautiful region really fantastic.

The owners were warm and welcoming, and gave me tips for touring the area. The room was large and well-heated, even at the peak of winter. My room had a big balcony overlooking snow covered fields and mountains. The hotel's restaurant is fabulous - serving delicious Italian and traditional dishes, cooked by the wonderful lady who co-runs the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was good, though I enjoyed the lunch and dinner better. They even gave me a complimentary Christmas cake, which was wonderful. The location is right opposite the train station which is very convenient to catch early morning trains and one can walk to the Benedictine monastery and around the village.

The shower room doors are a bit inconvenient to shut, it also would be nice to have a hook or towel rack in the bathroom (it is there in the adjoining toilet which is separate).

What was not to like about this place. The hosts were some of the nicest and accommodating people we have ever stayed with. The dinners at the hotel were all delicious. The room was really comfortable and plenty spacious for 2 people. Also, the location was great. It is right next to the train station but the train noise was not loud at all. We slept with our windows open every night with no issues. Plus the train runs every hour to Andermatt making stops at just about all the ski lifts, which is really convenient. If we go back to Disentis we will 100% stay here again.

This is a family run hotel and they really go out of their way to accommodate you. I made a mistake and actually booked the day after my arrival and the owner was able to make some changes on the computer to reassign my booking to that day and find me a room. He also was able to get me a meal in the hotel restaurant even though it was supposed to be closed for the day. Truly he helped make my stay go from near disaster to exceptional. I don’t think this would have happened at a chain run hotel.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Within a few steps of Disentis railway station. The bed was very comfortable. I departed before normal breakfast service commenced but I was provided with a very nice, extensive breakfast (juice, coffee, yoghurt, lovely fresh bread delivered that morning, meat and cheese (cereals were also available)) in the dining room before I left. The person I was dealing with was friendly and helpful.

Everything was excellent. I would suggest a non-slip mat in the shower.

Great family run hotel which provided a lovely room on the top floor. Very comfortable and clean, cute Swiss alpine roofing. We were treated very kindly by the friendly family team with secure bike storage also available. Located right near the train station, which was no trouble with noise, and easy access to walk around the town. Lovely restaurant with locally sourced and prepared produce and a fine breakfast selection. Highly recommended.

Everything here is perfect. The location, the facilities and most of all the staff/owners. This is an absolute gem where the family is running the place with dedication, passion and love for their profession. You will feel home and welcome here. I will always come back here. Enjoy the tasty home-made breakfast and stay for dinner, too!

There is nothing to dislike.

Room was excellent. Great view. Great bed. All around great! Breakfast was everything you could ask for. And lots of it, including eggs. Restaurant was very clean, good room between tables and was very comfortable! The hosts and their staff were very accommodating and helpful. We only stayed one night at the hotel but have back each day of our stay so far to eat in the restaurant,

I really don’t have anything I didn’t like, Maybe no hand cream in the bathroom. Although there was shower gel and such! But overall, nothing caused me any concerns.

I would give them an 11 out of 10 rating if I could. location is superb. the breakfast was perfect for skiing. I read reviews that it wasn’t a huge variety, but everything offered was local produce or homemade. the Bircher muesli knocks it out of the park. the rooms are spacious and very clean. the best thing about the hotel is the staff. incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. very family friendly setting. they were very forthcoming and super friendly. if you look for dining options in disentis I would definitely recommend eating at the hotel. we tried different restaurants in town but the hotels own restaurant has by far the best bang for your buck. very tasty food, plentiful and fairly priced. we will certainly come back here!!!
