The hotel is very spacious (we booked a suite and had plenty of space for a family). The room even included small kitchen that was unexpected nice surprise. The location is great for winter activities, near the gondola cable car and small ski area for kids is few minutes walk away. The nearest bus stop is just a few minutes walk and free bus takes you to the village for free. Even though in the St. Catrina area you have everything you need- supermarket, leisure sports centre with cafe, sports shop with rental.

We loved our stay and definitely come back. The only very minor disappointment was the breakfast, it was very basic and after a week you would have eaten all the options, also I was surprised with lots of items on the buffet being individually packed, something you don’t see that often anymore as more hotels focus on sustainability.

Very good location in the mountains, the room is clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast offers some options, I would suggest some omlette, not only boiled eggs. The hotel has also a restaurant and a bar. If you arrive by train from Andermatt, you can get down at Acla da Fontauna station, just before Disentis, it's much closer than Disentis. I have also received a message from the hotel that they can provide free transfer from train station, but didn't require it since Acla da Funtauna is 8 minutes walking distance. I looked for this information, the breakfast time is from 7:30-10:30.

The breakfast could be improved a bit with more hot food.

Loved the location, the hotel team was outstanding, the restaurant was amazing and the family room was massive. After 7pm the whole town gets very calm and quiet and it was like heaven on earth.

My only complaint would be that the room was slightly too hot and we had to sleep with the window open. That brought it's own charm though as we could hear the river at night.

I enjoyed the spacious room. Felt less like an hotel because of it. The overall of the room is modern, though the bathroom is still a bit older, though very usable. I was on a motorcycle trip when i stayed and happy to have been able to park it in their garage.

There is some noice from people walking above you because of the tile flooring. But it died down after 22:30

As I wasn’t skiing I was pleased that I could use the whirlpool in the next block!! Armchairs in room very comfy. It would have been nice to have an English speaking TV station besides BBC news - but understand I am in the middle of Switzerland.

Although the hotel does not look the newest from the outside, the room was very spacious, modernly furnished and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel at the end of the city brings the required peace of mind for sleeping. The breakfast was very good. The service was very attentive and the check-in was lightning fast. You can have an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant. Parking was convenient and there were plenty of places.

Clean room, decent wifi. Got a bigger room than what was in description. Located near enough many of the beautiful mountain passes. Slept well with a sound of a nearby stream :)

The breakfasts were really good. There was a good spread of food available. I dined at the restaurant on my first night and the food was really good. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I was there on a motorcycle and Disentis is centrally located to do most of the spectacular mountain passes like Furka and Grimsel.

Unfortunately, my friend couldn't open the door with the card. And he called in emergency service in the night, we came late.

As was expected from a much-used hotel in a popular skiing resort.

Hotel is ageing and could do with a bit of tender love and care. Breakfast was a bit basic, but then there were not many guests staying at the time, so perhaps spreads are better during the season. Horrible pillows.
