Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect—from the unbeatable location to the welcoming and professional staff, and the top-notch facilities that made us feel right at home. The room was clean and well-appointed, and every detail felt thoughtfully considered. But what truly sealed the deal for us (especially for those who know) was the presence of a handheld bidet spray (شطاف) in the bathroom. It might seem like a small thing, but for travelers from the Middle East and many parts of Asia, this little feature makes a world of difference. Comfort, cleanliness, and that extra touch of home—we truly appreciated it! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, culturally-considerate, and well-managed stay.

The hotel is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere of relaxation. The staff was super kind, constantly trying to help (for example: last night we had a problem with the time of the taxi we booked for the trip to the airport and one of the hotel staff members helped us, called the company and solved the problem). In addition, we received recommendations from the staff for restaurants, shopping areas and tourist sites worth visiting. The hotel's location is excellent, 5-10 minutes walk from the Acropolis, 5 minutes walk from the main shopping street and the restaurant center, and also 5 minutes walk from the Parliament and the National Gardens. The breakfasts were one of the best (if not the best) we had in Europe. Bottom line: I highly recommend this hotel. For my part, its score should be 10/10.

Breakfast was excellent with so many options and a nice view. All the staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I use the gym alot and found it clean and adequate enough to get a good workout in. It was a short walk beside the park to all the attractions, shopping, restaurants. Good safe location. Overall I would stay there again as the price I paid was well worth coming back too!

The room really could use a lamp on the desk. There was no place out to put computer or other things and I had to do some work and there was no light to see what I was doing after 5pm. This needs attention to. I would warm up the room a bit if they included a throw rug at the foot of the bed just to get the room a bit more warmth to its look when entering. Lastly, there were no wash cloths. Only hand and body towels.

Insufficient drawers in the room. Rooms appear to be very good as a first impression. Then you realize that the ergonomics are all wrong. The dressing table is full of “extras” and “facilities” making it totally impractical as a dressing table. The towel rail in the bathroom cannot hold two bath towels. There is nowhere to hang your hand towels. There is a huge, totally impractical chair which serves no purpose. A smaller upright chair and a small table for the “complimentary “ items would clear the dressing table. The safe is not fixed to anything and is therefore useless. The safe is on the lowest shelf and you have to get on your hands and knees to operate it. Very difficult when you are elderly. Add more shelves and drawers please.

The scenery from the top-floor room is fantastic. I used to check out the Parthenon from my window at different times of the day, bathed in different sunlight. The hotel is modern, very stylish and perfectly positioned within walking distance of everything, and yet away from the crowd. Staff members are very welcoming. There is always a nice treat and refreshment served in the reception hall. Breakfast is very nice - small samples of a large variety of very high-quality food. And the view from the restaurant!!!

The pool is tiny, not that I needed one.

Our one-night stay at The Athenaeum (July 9th - 10th) was absolutely perfect. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Athens, making it incredibly convenient for a short trip. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding staff. Every member we interacted with was incredibly supportive and helpful with any questions or clarifications we needed. A special shout-out to Emanuel, the guest relations manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience.

The checkout was at 11 am, which has been extended till 12, it would have been great if we could have a longer extension.

Luxurious interior details, modern, brand new boutique hotel, very chic! Bill, the PR & Communication manager is really outstanding, his professionalism & great service made my stay breathtaking. Thank you Bill! The rooms are wonderful, the designs & premium quality is totally obvious. The Breakfast is very tasty with premium selection and quality. The hotel location is nice just 900 m walk to the Syntagma Square surround by a huge green park.

The hotel is located in an angle of several cross road intersection which makes the surrounding very noisy. The outdoor Jacuzzi is cold and must be heated.

Great location 5 m walk to Acropolis, there is a Tram every 10m to syntagma just at the corner. The deluxe room is good but more of a double room, we requested an upgrade, and we were given a junior suite with a view to Acropolis. Breakfast is 10 out of 10, everything is freshly done, there is a great variety of hot and cold food, freshly made pies and cakes and the view is amazing. It was a great deal, very good price for such service. Very friendly staff and very clean hotel. I would definitely come back 👌💖

I would suggest to put an extra chair in the room. There is only one. And some drawers....that's it really

This hotel offers a wonderful view and is within walking distance of the Acropolis and nearby parks. The location is very convenient, as you can take the metro from the airport to Syntagma and either walk for about 18 minutes or take a short taxi ride. The rooms are modern, well-furnished, and very comfortable. Breakfast on the 6th floor was excellent, with a beautiful view of the city. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Athens!

the hotel is located at a busy intersection, and motorcycles can be noisy at night. If you have trouble sleeping and prefer a quieter place, you will have to consider this. Otherwise, it’s a great stay for those who want to be in the heart of Athens.

The hotel is well positioned, although not in the most central area. Metro station is very close, and the Acropolis and most touristic attractions easy to reach on foot. We got upgraded to a bigger room, which was perfect. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. We also enjoyed the complimentary refreshments that were provided. Staff has been very kind and helpful.

The breakfast buffet was very good but it lacked some variety of options such as lactose-free or gluten free.
