The location was amazing with only a short walking distance to the nearby station connected to the Yamanote Line which allows easy access to other locations such as Akihabara, Tokyo, Shibuya. Clean and comfortable with more than enough space for 2 people.

Nothing, all features were enjoyable.

We had a connecting room for our family and this was very handy. The beds while on the ground were comfy, we just had to request an extra couple of pillows as they only supply 1 per person. The bedrooms while small (but Toyko standard size) were practical and comfortable. The train station was nice and close and made it easy to get around, and having options of convenience stores and restaurants close by was a bonus.

While the location was nice and close to the train station, the hotel is on a main road and we found on our first night that we could hear a lot of sirens, most likely ambulances, going past (this was on the 1st Jan, so may have been a busy night). By the 2nd night we were more accustomed to the noise, but if you are a light sleeper, this would be a bit annoying. Also, the breakfast we had included in our stay wasn't wonderful for the cost, the scrambled eggs & sausages were often cool as they were not kept warm effectively. It could have been much more enjoyable if the hot food was hot. The fruit & salads were nice though.

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. It is located in a quiet, uncrowded neighborhood. Train station, convenience stores and numerous dining options are just a few minutes’ walk away. The staff was friendly, and the on-site laundry room was a convenient addition. The room itself was very clean*, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

*although air-vents and AC were dusty. Laundry room was a bit dirty (between the washing machines). When there were some people in the smoking room, the cigarettes smell was getting into the laundry room (luckily it hasn’t affected the smell of the clothes)

Location was great for us, 3 minute walk to the station. Yamanote line got us anywhere we needed to be in less than 40 mins. Super walkable to Ueno. Felt completely safe coming back late. Staff were friendly ands accommodating. Place was exceptionally clean and quiet. Or room backed into the elevator Anna were never heard it the entire time of our 6 nights there.

Didn’t like the pillows. The room and bathroom were tiny. We had expected small but this was smaller. Couldn’t swing a cat in the bathroom, sink over hands into the bath. Cases sat in the floor, there’s no stand. You have to be very organized, and we left the room to let the other get ready so we weren’t tripping over each other. Breakfast was ok and Japanese style, but it was the same every single day. We didn’t see any other options in the vicinity apart from McDonald’s but we didn’t look too hard either. And coffee shops open late in Japan.

We enjoyed our 1-week stay at this hotel. It is a very nicely designed hotel and it felt new and clean. There room we booked was compact and tight but we were aware of that. The bed is on the floor level so it felt safe for our 2 year old. The hotel is very close to the metro station which is on the Yamanote-line, a handy line that takes you to many other interesting stations. It is also walking distance to Ueno, Yakanaka, etc.

We were a bit unlucky with the view from the window which was blocked outside with multiple machines. We did our laundry in the evening and there was a queue.

Great location, a quieter part of Tokyo but fantastic access to train station, Ueno Park and Asakusa. The hotel and rooms were spotless and comfortable, great shower! Was affordable to book two rooms so my son and I could have a bit of space from each other as needed- rooms are compact typical for Tokyo so this was particularly helpful that we could have separate rooms. Breakfast was also excellent and great to have a bar/restaurant to chill in. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, provided lots of little extras as needed for example an umbrella on a rainy day etc. Laundry facilities were cheap and efficient.

Nothing!

We spent 9 days at the hotel after staying 8 days in Tamachi. The cost was a little more but we desperately needed the room space for suitcases. It is so rare to find hotels in Tokyo with floorspace so we were so chuffed to have moved hotels. The roof terrace is also a really great bonus! The beds are traditional floor style so not the most comfy but we got used to it. The JR lines are only a 2 minute walk away which was so so so amazing! The metro was also nearby but we ended up using the JR 90% of the time or walking 20 minutes to Ueno to get the Shinkansen.

I ordered a oat milk coffee on the first morning and was served a cup that was 90% milk and it seemed like it had no coffee in it which was so odd - completely undrinkable! I wasn't too bothered as there is a great coffee shop 5 mins walk away, and I felt I probably confused the lady when ordering.

Convenient location to Ueno Park/Station and two additional public transit stations, while not in a terribly busy neighborhood. The decoration is modern and thoughtful. Very clean and organized. Staff is friendly and helpful. Using laundry is straightforward. Breakfast is tasty.

Not an issue for us but the compact double room is definitely small. We were able to fit two carry-on suitcases and two backpacks in; people with more luggage will find it hard to maneuver. The bathroom is similarly cozy and a person with a big frame may feel uncomfortable. The counter space is also limited; you can circumvent it by bringing a hanging toiletry bag. If someone needs to lounge/do some work, there’s no chairs/desks in the room but there is common area in the first two floors to hang out.

The hotel has good decor, is clean and relatively quiet. I thought the room (queen) was a good value and size for the price paid, especially considering Tokyo standards. The view of Tokyo Skytree was also nice. The staff was professional and pleasant. I like that there is laundry on-site, which was convenient and easy to use. I was a bit concerned about the fact that the hotel is in a known "love district" but as a solo traveler, the area always felt safe and it was quiet.

The location is far from most major attractions. Please plan accordingly - if most of the attractions or restaurants you want to visit are in Shibuya or Shinjuku, it might be worth it to stay within those areas. I also was not a big fan of the breakfast included.

Such a cute place with wonderful staff in a family friendly neighborhood. We knew the room was small, but it worked for me and my 2 kids. One night we came back to the room with a bad smell in the bathroom (this can always happen). The next day housekeeping cleaned the drain and we were welcomed later that night with a cute Japanese sweet for the inconvenience, that was so sweet of them :) my bagage was forwarded to the next city and I was assisted by booking our bullet train tickets also. Would definitely come back here!
