The hostel is about a kilometer (16-minute) walk from Keisei Ueno Station, and 500 meters (8-minute) walk from the Iriya Exit of the JR Ueno Station. There is a convenience store nearby. The female dorm has 20 beds, each with its own locker (though 8 beds are assigned smaller lockers that won't fit a large luggage). Each bed has a curtain for privacy, attached small foldable table, light, and a power outlet with 2 regular sockets and 2 USB ports. It also has a small locker to keep your valuables safe. Entry to the dorm is keyless (enter code on a PINpad). The female dorm has its own shower rooms (2), sinks (4), hair dryer (2), toilets (5). Bath towel, face towel, and slippers are provided. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap are available in the shower rooms. Hair brush, razor, cotton, and toothbrush are also available for free. The hostel has a common area at the lobby, with vending machine, microwave, water heater, plates, cups, plastic utensils. It also has two washer/dryer combo. Luggage storage is available—free before check in; 500 yen/bag after check out.

The hostel has no elevator; a bit of a struggle if you have large/heavy luggage (female dorm is on the 2nd floor; male dorm on the 3rd). The mattress is a bit thin. The shower room has a funky smell. To use the washer/dryer, make sure you have enough 100 yen coins (the hostel will not exchange your bills to coins; you can get coins by spending unnecessarily at their vending machine). The dryer is not too effective. I had to dry my clothes for 1.5 hours but most of it still came out damp.

Cheapest logging I have found that is near any of the stations (Ueno station is 3-5 min walk to iriya gate). Laundry is ¥500 for wash and dry.

A really good price for what you get: a solo bunk (with curtains, that add some privacy up), private outlets and a little locker for you to put your belongings. The staff was very friendly and were able to help in any quests (such as finding ATMs nearby). The washing machine + dryer available is a plus!

It's not that close to the station. Depending where you'll get off, it's a bit of a walk, but very manageable. Bear in mind that there is no elevator and you could be assigned a bed in the 3rd or 4th floor (and have to carry your suitcases all the way up). Also for the record - big luggages don't fit in the lockers and you need to keep it aside, so bring your own padlocks. It gets very hot inside the cabin in the summer and the AC does not win, so I'd avoid peak summer months.

Very affordable spot, just a few minutes away from Ueno station. Check in was simple once I arrived, and they provided me with a bathing towel with a few other amenities afterwards. They do have a few lockers to keep your luggage in, pretty simple ones that were just tall enough to accommodate my large luggage, but only enough space for 1x large suitcase at most and on the same floor my room was. The capsule/bed was sufficiently comfy and had a little cupboard space with a lock to leave extra belongings if needed, with a light switch and X1 power outlet. Restrooms were separate from the 2x showers on our floor, and was equipped with the basics with soap/shampoo and hand soap. They also messaged me a few local restaurants within the vicinity which was very helpful. Staff were also quite helpful with whatever questions I had and answered as best able in English

The little kitchen space on the 1st floor was nice to have, but I really can't see myself using it or storing any foodstuffs in the fridge with how compact the hostel was, and the likely short term stay. Sink in the toilet/urinal section of the restroom was awkwardly turning towards the edge of the sink and would spill water easily. Also no elevator, so if you got heavy luggage you're going to struggle hauling it up there. Otherwise just minimal complaints of convenience and they provided everything they listed.

The hostel was a positive surprise! Cleaning was impeccable, both the lobby and the restrooms where spotless. Showers had plenty of space to put your clothes and towel. I really liked the lobby which is very cozy and welcoming. The staff is also very friendly. Furthermore you get all the basic toiletries you need for free. The location was fine, there are multiple train and metro stations about 10 minutes away. For such a price I would say it is more than a great deal!

I saw this mentioned previously, but the lockers make quite some noise when used. They are close to the beds and in the morning it is hard not to be awaken by them. The room lights also shines inconveniently through the curtain's upper crack into the capsule right on eye-level. You can just sleep the other way but the sockets will be out of reach.

I enjoyed the community space, it was comfortable and I was able to do my personal work very easily. I also liked the convenience of the hostel. It was located close to the station, a really good restaurant and a ton of convenience stores. There was also a cafe that I know of opening close to the hostel later so I will definitely come back!

The room inside was a little smelly but it was fine. I dislike the amount of stairs and no elevators.

the shared space is nice, and the room itself looks amazing. The equipment in the shared space is clean. the capsule room is not connected to the next room, so I can be relaxed in terms of the airborne disease infection from the next capsule room renter.

Unfortunately, the bed linens were slightly smelly during my stay. It looked clean, and no spot on the blanket and pillow, but it smells bad. However, since I was only staying for one night, I didn't really care about it. But it would be great if you could make sure the bed linens once more before the renter come.

Very nice capsule style hostel with a great location just next Ueno station. The hostel was clean, facilities were good and beds were nice as well. You had plenty of storage space, only some bigger luggage might have problems fitting in the lockers. Also the lockers had a gap over the door, which makes it easy for you to get your stuff but also if there's loose stufd inside someone could technically take your stuff as well. Over the beds was another locker for valuables though. Beds were private enough with good blackout curtains. Kitchen had a fridge, toaster and hot water dispenser.

Only problem was that some kitchen equipment was not that great. There weren't any deeper bowls that would allow you to make noodles or cereal. There were also no coffee mugs, although there were cardboard ones.

Patient front desk, Friendly tourists, thoughtful service, comprehensive equipment, prime location, this accommodation experience unexpectedly became a wonderful experience in my trip to Tokyo, the front desk sister and uncle in fluent English to help me answer questions, guests from different countries in the rest area to communicate with each other, quiet bedroom and comfortable bed, really an unforgettable experience!
