The location was excellent, it was about a 4-minute walk from Ueno station (Iriya exit). There is a Lawson's nearby too. We arrived too early for check-in but were able to store our luggage. The room although small, was very clean. There was only housekeeping every 4th day but we did get new amenities (towels, sleeping robes, etc) every day. Checking out was very convenient as well; we just had to drop our room cards into a box at the lobby.

It was a bit of a wait to get back to our room every day. The lifts weren't slow, but maybe there aren't enough lifts and too many guests? Also I was hoping there would be a laundry room in the hotel itself but we had to go to a laundromat nearby. The directions were helpfully provided by the hotel.

Walking a bit from Keisai Skyline Ueno station with huge luggages. Hotel room is quite small 11 sqm but with a Queen bed (size is a little bigger than King size in Thailand) which is nice and comfortable with 2 persons. Express check out was great. Simply just drop room keys into the box.

Breakfast is not worth the money. It’s 1500 Yen but selection is minimal especially if staying more than 1 night. I don’t like udon so it’s not the choice. Nearby there are lawson and family mart. Room walls and aircon were full of thick dust. We stayed 5 nights and cleaning service was every 3 nights.

i think generally the hotel is located at a place away from the tourist spot which makes it more comfortable for me to have a good rest. The staff were friendly and generally understand simple english which helps to make the communication process easier.

there is only one lift serving everyone. maybe its better to inform the hotel guest what time is the peak period of the lift and to save time to avoid using the lift at the peak hour. or maybe encourage the guest to use the stairs as a form of exercise for those staying in low level?

The location is great, very close to the Ueno station. You can also enjoy the Ueno Park and all the attractions, like museums and the zoo. The staff was helpful and kind, Nearby, you can also find a lot of restaurants and shops.

The room is small, like other Japanese hotels in big cities, but they don`t have the space to keep the luggage under the bed. Also the mattress was not so comfortable, it is too soft, and you can feel any movement, moving everything.

Overall the hotel is clean and I think this is a newer APA hotel. Room is clean and amenities are great. They replenish supplies every day. I love the smell in the lobby, very refreshing.

The hotel is far from the train station and tourist areas. Room size is smaller compared to the previous APA hotel I stayed at. I have 2 medium size luggages and I need to have it upright all the time else I can’t navigate the room. The faucet sink in the room I stayed at needs repair.

Very convenient location. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Effective air-conditioning. Very easy to manage the booking and extend our stay. Good mirrors and lighting in the room, there was a full length mirror as well as a mirror with good lighting for applying make-up at the desk.

14 floors and only one elevator, so there was a lot of waiting. The room is very small, which had us concerned at first, but it turned out to not be as much of an issue as we had anticipated. Still small though!

My stay at the hotel was pleasant, we had clean towels every day as well as was taken out the trash every day, sachet of coffee, tea and milk to take in the room, hot water in the bathroom as well as cold water and to drink. All staff we met super well. It is very easy to take the train because it is very close to the hotel, and had several restaurants and things to do close by.

Have only one elevator, which generated traffic at some times of the day. Not all employees speak English. It was not possible - or if it was we could not do - to change the air to ventilate cold, ended up passing heat during the night,

Great for no frills solo traveler! These are "business" hotels so they're mostly meant for work travel where the person only need a place to shower and sleep. There isn't a lot of extra space in the rooms. You definitely wouldn't be able to fully open a check-in bag on the floor. It's possible to open it if you put it on your bed ... but the size is perfect for someone who travels with a small carryon size and/or a backpack.

The location was excellent. Room was small but had all that was needed. For one person is ok. For 2, might be too tight. It was very quiet. Didn’t hear noise at all.

Nothing. Everything was great. But maybe there is no need for a full bag of towels and toiletries every single day. As much as I appreciate the gesture. It seems like a waste. I didn’t even use half of it.

Great price for staying in Tokyo, and the property was very secure and kept us well stocked for any of our needs. The hotel staff was very accommodating.

This room was pretty small even when you're expecting a small room this didn't even have much space to put 2 carry on sized suitcases. Additionally, the bed was pretty well worn and the only spots were either on the wood frames (where you could feel it) or rolling into the sunken areas.
