Very close to Ueno JR Station (make sure to use Iriya exit, dont use Panda Bridge exit as per advised in google map which slightly far). Free breakfast and drinks are bonus. New towels everyday. Coin laundry room at level 2 (please avoid this level) only needs to pay ¥100 for each washing machine and dryer, free detergent. This hotel area is at quieter side compared to Ameyoko area. Family Mart is nearby. Ueno is located in a strategic area, most main attractions are nearby. Bonus, private bathroom with mini bath up, free water at lobby, free wifi, mini fridge, hair dryer and kettle are provided, and lift is available. Hotel staffs were so kind and polite.

The price is quite expensive with this tiny space. But i guess this is normal in Tokyo and busy city centre. The room is literally small. Not enough space to open 2 medium luggage bags. But we manage to survive. Make full use of space at the upper bed. The below deck can sleep 2 pax comfortably. But the pillows are soooo hard. Anyways, we slept well, no big deal. We got used to the tiny space and no major complaints.

I am impressed with the room that I stayed in. Yes it is small, but its functionality is very high. The bathroom is well-designed, and the bed is very comfortable to sleep in. Each inch of space is well-used to satisfy the needs of a guest. On the other hand, I really appreciate the coin laundry on the 2nd floor. I was able to do some laundry conveniently. I also like how I could just drink the water from the tap, which saved me the hassle of having to boil water using the kettle or needing to buy bottled water from outside.

The only thing that I feel could improve is the breakfast. I think that it lacked variety during the seven breakfasts that I had there. The four main dishes were usually similar, with the croquettes and fish being repeated almost every day. The croquettes and other fried items were often soggy and no longer crispy because the steam from the container dripped on the food. Although raw egg is a daily choice offered to the guests, there was no variety of other egg dishes except for the scrambled eggs that I had in only one of the breakfasts. I hope that there can be more choices of food in the future.

Budget hotel for travelers looking to save money. Free pajamas, free drinks and alcohol during designated hours, free breakfast, free ice and water. Hotels have many types of pillows. You can choose to have your room cleaned any day. Coin washing machine and dryer. Free detergent.

Room and bathroom is so tiny, i can't open 28" luggage on the floor, only half open. Maybe normal in tokyo.

It was surprising that the hotel gave free breakfast and dinner! The location is not really close to Ueno station, 5 mins walk, but the hotel is very clean and modern.

This is the only hotel who considered the things for our kid. Like slippers, toothbrush, towel. All of the hotels we booked for 2 adults 1 child only has slippers for adults. We appreciate the thoughtfulness. The toilet is really clean. The bed is comfy and the bunk bed can fit 4 persons. 3 persons on the bed below. Only that the pillow is hard. It is near Ueno station, a bit of a 5 minute walk but still nearby the stations! The staff on reception are really nice and accommodating. The free breakfast is sufficient, they close at 9am, not 10am. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

good location, they give you personal cleaning stuff, breakfast included which was ok, it is just weird having fish for breakfast or salad but they also have coffee, eggs, and milk

bed was a little bit uncomfortable and the pillows had like boba balls inside heheheh so weird. and to be able to check out at 11 am and not at 10 we had to download an app… no reason but well hahahaha

Friendly staff. Located only a 5 minute walk from Ueno station so very convenient. Lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Breakfast was mostly Japanese style and was decent enough. Don't need to bother to check out. Good value for money for Tokyo.

Nothing in particular

Very good located, 5 min walk from Ueno station, and close to a nice park and a commercial area. Lot of nice amenities in the reception, and possibility to leave the luggage the departure day. They provide a bag with new towels with water bottles everyday.

The room was really small, we hardly could open the lugagge infront of the door, and had to close it if we wanted to lo leave. The beds are not very confortable, neither the pillows, but we could take better ones from the reception.

We loved our stay! It was exactly as described, smallish for american standards but we were staying there just to sleep. It was supremely clean, staff was wonderful and helpful, and overall a perfect place to stay for people who were spending their FIRST NIGHT EVER in Japan! The lady at the front desk was SO sweet and helped us with our luggage forwarding to Kyoto, she was a savior!! Super short walk to the train station too, also, not touristy at all.

we were so not prepared for how itty bitty japanese hotel rooms were. This is NOT the hotels fault! Just be aware!
