Staff are friendly and helpful. After negotiation, we were allowed to store our luggages for 2 nights in between 2 stays. 2-min walk to a local supermarket that opens till 10pm.

Occasionally at 2am-3am there were very noisy street washer runnings back and forth. You have to close the windows otherwise you would be woken up at night. There is no lift to the platform level that bound for Ueno at Iriya subway station. Therefore, suitcases have to be carried over two flights of staircase from the ground to the platform level. Otherwise, you have to take the lift to the platform that bound for the opposite direction of Ueno and use the lifts at Minamisenju Station (2 stations from Iriya). More than 5-min walk to the closest convenience store.

Good Location, Great Facilities, and Helpful Staff.

We stayed on Floor 4. It was noted that the hotel's wifi drops intermittently. Since we had rented <Sakuramobile>, the issue did not impact us. However, It would be good if the hotel considers fixing the issue. Another minor issue we encountered were related to <Rubbish classification> and <Rubbish collection> Suggestions: <Rubbish classification> - We do not familiar with Japan's Rubbish classification detail. It would be good if the hotel would provide some guidelines on Japan's Rubbish classification details when I checked the hotel <Rubbish collection> - It would be good if the hotel put some Rubbish bins on each floor to facilitate residents to dispose of rubbish

The family room had plenty of space for 6 adults to move around. Fully furnished with nice facilities, including a washing machine. The neighbourhood itself was very quaint and peaceful, being only 20 minutes walk away from Asakusa and plenty of local grocery stores, cafes and konbinis. Although a bit out of way, for going to places along the Yamanote line, having the Hibiya and Ginza lines close by was also very convenient and not difficult to navigate. Check-in and check-out processes were very quick and easy too.

When I messaged about having luggage delivered to and from the hotel, I was told that that service was not available at the hotel which was understandable considering the only time I saw staff at the reception area was at night for a few hours. However at the reception area, I noticed quite a few bags either delivered by the Yamato delivery service or left there to be picked up OR stored there with luggage locks. I never got a chance to ask, but something that other guests can ask as delivery services make travel so much easier.

The room was FANTASTIC! It was just the right size for our group (we were 4 adults and one 6yr old child), we had plenty of space to move around and for our luggage. The bathroom was also excellent because it was very big for Japan standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious shower! All amenities were also impeccable and you don't have to buy your own detergent and dishwashing soap (which was perfect since we only stayed for 5 nights). The bed, pillows, and blankets were also very very comfy.We were always well rested after a long day of walking.Apartment was clean, they also provide vacuum cleaner so you can clean it yourself if you like.Staff and communication was also PERFECT!We would love to stay at this apartment again or maybe try the other Minn apartments.The location was also great for families, the neighborhood was quiet.There was a supermarket nearby and 7-11 as well.Several restaurants also near the train station.

A bit far from central tokyo but that is okay thats why they are able to give such a good price for an excellent apartment. Would have also been nice to have an iron and ironing board for clothes, but even without it our stay was PERFECT!

My stay at Minn Ueno-Iriya in Tokyo was nothing short of fantastic! The apartment was spacious, stylishly furnished, and impeccably clean, offering all the comforts of home. The facilities were modern, with a fully equipped kitchen that made self-catering a breeze. The location is ideal, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and public transportation. It's a convenient base for exploring the city, with Ueno Park and its many attractions just a short walk away. The staff at Minn Ueno-Iriya were also incredibly helpful and hospitable, always going out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. This place is perfect for travelers seeking independence combined with comfort and convenience in Tokyo. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay!

The room very spacious, clean and really comfortable for 4 adults and 1 infant. The furniture etc looks like new. We also love the kitchen, we make breakfast every morning, supermarket just around the corner. There is also elevator. I suggest you to explore more Asakusa, Ueno, and Sumida cause the location is really close to those 3 locations.

The location a little bit far from central tokyo if you want to go to shinjuku, shibuya area especially if you are using train. Cause there is no direct train.

Located in quiet area about 7 mins walk from Iriya station which is one stop from Ueno station. Supermarket for everything including ready made meals 2 mins away. Also 20 min walk to Kappabashi-dori (kitchen street). Our room had two double beds, sofa and dining table. Plenty of room for 3 adults and luggage. Shower was fabulous. Combined washer and dryer, though had to Google for English instructions. Clean and plenty of hanging space. Really couldn’t fault this place. Our favourite in a two week trip.

We enjoyed our stay at Minn Ueno-Iriya. The room was spacious and have all the facilities we needed . Best value family hotel for the price and space . The staff at the hotel is able to attend to all our needs despite it being listed as an unmanned hotel.

The location is just 5min walk from the nearest Train station. This is a residential area if you enjoy the quietness. However If you are looking for a location near to the big Mall , Shinjuku , Shibuya or Shibuya might be a better option.

Nearest station is Iriya Station with only Hibiya line. You might need to change to different train line from time to time to other tourist spots. Take exit 3 if without luggage. Take exit 4 if with luggage. These 2 exits are not so much different distance to the hotel. About 5 mins of walking. Nearby there is a supermarket, 7-eleven and also a local bakery. Check in process was quick and smooth. Room is clean and fit just nice for 3 of us. Overall, it was a good stay.

The location is very convenient-within walking distance to Iriya station and 1 mins from a supermarket, where you can buy a variety of foods and daily stuff. Our room is located on the ground floor, but since the surroundings are very quiet at night, we slept very well. There is no bathtub, but the shower is okay. The bed is comfortable, and the table is big enough for two people working at the same time.

We stayed for 5 nights, and on the third night, the drainage of the shower room was stuck with hair and the water was all over the place, even coming out of the shower room. We contacted the staff, who responded quickly and came to clean the hair. It would have been better if the staff could have cleaned the hair more thoroughly before our stay, since the hair which blocked the drainage was clearly left from previous visitors.
