The location was amazing with only a short walking distance to the nearby station connected to the Yamanote Line which allows easy access to other locations such as Akihabara, Tokyo, Shibuya. Clean and comfortable with more than enough space for 2 people.
Nothing, all features were enjoyable.

The hotel is conveniently located near JR Uguisudani Station, just a 5-minute walk, which is very manageable even with luggage. The route includes both elevators and ramps, making access easy. The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, and breakfast is available and worth trying. I stayed in a double room where the futon-style beds were placed on a raised platform. The layout felt modern and unique, and the room was clean, odor-free, and comfortable.
While JR Uguisudani Station is conveniently located, it's worth noting that the area near the overpass has several dark-colored buildings, mainly love hotels, which can feel a bit unsafe at night. If you prefer to avoid that area, you can also consider using Iriya Station on the Tokyo Metro line, which is about the same walking distance to the hotel.

We had a connecting room for our family and this was very handy. The beds while on the ground were comfy, we just had to request an extra couple of pillows as they only supply 1 per person. The bedrooms while small (but Toyko standard size) were practical and comfortable. The train station was nice and close and made it easy to get around, and having options of convenience stores and restaurants close by was a bonus.
While the location was nice and close to the train station, the hotel is on a main road and we found on our first night that we could hear a lot of sirens, most likely ambulances, going past (this was on the 1st Jan, so may have been a busy night). By the 2nd night we were more accustomed to the noise, but if you are a light sleeper, this would be a bit annoying. Also, the breakfast we had included in our stay wasn't wonderful for the cost, the scrambled eggs & sausages were often cool as they were not kept warm effectively. It could have been much more enjoyable if the hot food was hot. The fruit & salads were nice though.

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. It is located in a quiet, uncrowded neighborhood. Train station, convenience stores and numerous dining options are just a few minutes’ walk away. The staff was friendly, and the on-site laundry room was a convenient addition. The room itself was very clean*, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
*although air-vents and AC were dusty. Laundry room was a bit dirty (between the washing machines). When there were some people in the smoking room, the cigarettes smell was getting into the laundry room (luckily it hasn’t affected the smell of the clothes)

Location was great for us, 3 minute walk to the station. Yamanote line got us anywhere we needed to be in less than 40 mins. Super walkable to Ueno. Felt completely safe coming back late. Staff were friendly ands accommodating. Place was exceptionally clean and quiet. Or room backed into the elevator Anna were never heard it the entire time of our 6 nights there.
Didn’t like the pillows. The room and bathroom were tiny. We had expected small but this was smaller. Couldn’t swing a cat in the bathroom, sink over hands into the bath. Cases sat in the floor, there’s no stand. You have to be very organized, and we left the room to let the other get ready so we weren’t tripping over each other. Breakfast was ok and Japanese style, but it was the same every single day. We didn’t see any other options in the vicinity apart from McDonald’s but we didn’t look too hard either. And coffee shops open late in Japan.

We enjoyed our 1-week stay at this hotel. It is a very nicely designed hotel and it felt new and clean. There room we booked was compact and tight but we were aware of that. The bed is on the floor level so it felt safe for our 2 year old. The hotel is very close to the metro station which is on the Yamanote-line, a handy line that takes you to many other interesting stations. It is also walking distance to Ueno, Yakanaka, etc.
We were a bit unlucky with the view from the window which was blocked outside with multiple machines. We did our laundry in the evening and there was a queue.

The location is perfect. So close to so many little restaurants, and it’s walking distance to Ueno Park attractions like the Ueno Zoo, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, and the Tokyo Nature & Science Museum. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful. They’re English speaking was commendable, and the restaurant and coffee bar are a great choice for when you want something convenient.
The only negative was that I was staying there for three nights and my sheets and bedding was never replaced or cleaned. They do supply you with ample towels, but if you tend to sweat when you sleep, you might not be super happy coming back to the room to some used sheets and blankets.

Great location, a quieter part of Tokyo but fantastic access to train station, Ueno Park and Asakusa. The hotel and rooms were spotless and comfortable, great shower! Was affordable to book two rooms so my son and I could have a bit of space from each other as needed- rooms are compact typical for Tokyo so this was particularly helpful that we could have separate rooms. Breakfast was also excellent and great to have a bar/restaurant to chill in. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, provided lots of little extras as needed for example an umbrella on a rainy day etc. Laundry facilities were cheap and efficient.
Nothing!

We spent 9 days at the hotel after staying 8 days in Tamachi. The cost was a little more but we desperately needed the room space for suitcases. It is so rare to find hotels in Tokyo with floorspace so we were so chuffed to have moved hotels. The roof terrace is also a really great bonus! The beds are traditional floor style so not the most comfy but we got used to it. The JR lines are only a 2 minute walk away which was so so so amazing! The metro was also nearby but we ended up using the JR 90% of the time or walking 20 minutes to Ueno to get the Shinkansen.
I ordered a oat milk coffee on the first morning and was served a cup that was 90% milk and it seemed like it had no coffee in it which was so odd - completely undrinkable! I wasn't too bothered as there is a great coffee shop 5 mins walk away, and I felt I probably confused the lady when ordering.

The hotel is new and stylish, a few minutes away from JR Uguisudani station (which is a small station very easy to navigate, no risk of getting lost compared to stations like Tokyo, Shibuya, Ikebukuro or Shinjuku). The room was minimalistic but had all the amenities necessary. The mattress, while on floor “futon style”, was very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice as well.
The bathroom is a little snug (especially if you are taller than 175cm) but well equipped. Having a cube stool or a small chair would have been nice as seating on the floor mattress wasn’t very convenient.
