We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. It was a nice experience to be like what the locals are like. There is a supermarket near by with coin laundry a few store down. Convenient store down the street. Although it was a few blocks from the station but my six years old was able to do it with no problem. Nearest station has plenty of choices for you to stock up your mid night snack and breakfast. The bath/shower room was spacious. We love the music in the stairs. Beds were comfortable. The room has some wear and tear but still is a nice place.

There was a TAXI app but we were unable to use it. No dinning area.

Walking distance from Ueno or Iriya station. Lots of convenient store nearby and there is a supermarket too about 10mins walk. Laundromat is about 2blocks away. There is one halal kebab place and halal restaurant name Halal Sakura nearby. Recommended to dine in there as the food is delicious. Quiet neighbourhood.

No elevator in the building hence you have to carry your luggages up to the 2nd or 3rd floor via the narrow staircase. No kitchen to cook simple meals and no access to socket to boil water. We have to bring the kettle to the living room. Place a little dusty too.

Really nice apartment for big families or large groups. Big rooms compared to standard Japanese appartments. Very modern style in a very nice and quiet area, but still in a popular area of Tokyo (on the Yamanote loopline). Nice modern bathroom. I know where I will stay next time when I visit Tokyo.

There is no elevator, so travel light or if you have heavy luggage Cary the weight together ;) The area can be a bit confusing because it is definitely confusing for Google maps. My advice just walk around the area a bit and you will find the fastest way to JR station or the Tokyo subway by yourself.

Such a nice and peace place to stay. However, you need to walk for about 16 -20 minutes to go to the nearest Yamanote Line. Also need to walk for 20 minutes to Ueno Station. The room is big and suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids

close to iriya station (metro) and uguisudani (JR). as soon as you exit the metro you can immediately stop by family mart or 7 eleven. if you get off JR it takes 3 minutes longer to walk but you can find donki, 7 eleven. directly to the yamanote line and no need to transfer if you want to go to the tokyo landmark. the staff are friendly, very helpful, making sure we were comfortable staying.

This hotel does not have an elevator, but the staff is willing to help carry luggage. Cutlery and cooking utensils are not available in the room, but there is a microwave on the ground floor, a water heater and glasses in the room. I think it is more than enough to make cup ramen and coffee or tea.

Excellent beds and blankets. The property is pretty new.

We stayed at room 303 (Level 3). It was hard to move our suitcases up and down the stairs. The place was a little too small for a family of 2 adults and 3 children. It was a 40 m2 unit but split into 2 levels. So it is pretty small per level. Kitchen was pretty much ‘non functional’ due to the size and one plug point for kettle was unreachable unless the bar fridge was moved out from the bottom self. The nearest coin laundry was 500m away.

Sakura cross hotel Ueno Iriya is 1 stop from Ueno station via subway. The station has elevator (Exit 4: from Ueno to Iriya st.)(Exit 1 from Iriya to Ueno st.) It's convenient to stay and travel around Tokyo. There is Ministop near the hotel. The hotel provides refrigerator, kettle and quite large room for 3 people. Cleaning every 5-6 days and garbage clearing every 3 days.

1. If you have large or extra large luggage, you may consider to another option because you need to bring all the luggage to 2nd or 3rd floor. 2. I get lost during the first time to the hotel while walking follow the Google map due to name of the hotel. There are 2 Sakura cross Ueno hotel near Iriya Station. One is Sakura cross hotel Ueno Iriya and Sakura cross hotel Ueno Iriya Annex. You should aware and search correct and the full name of the hotel.

The location was great, the appearance is lovely, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Nice cupboard both upstairs and downstairs also near door good place for shoes and other pieces. Having a fridge is nice and a microwave downstairs. WiFi is always a bonus

One suggestion would be that there needs to be hooks in bathroom - so can hang towels (if have a larger family) also so can hang some items around (toiletries / jackets). More coat hangers needed to be supplied for families to hang items Bed was small (only as we are tall and have a king bed in Australia and was hard to adapt to a double)

Good location. Comfortable room, bed, shower/tub combo, toilet with bidet. Cool lighting. Large (excessive) television, no buttons but yes there is a remote. Window with curtains. Air conditioning. Useful kitchen sink (no kitchen), mini fridge. Microwave is on the first floor at the hotel entrance. Very clean. They provide linens, tissue paper, slippers, toothbrush and paste, hair comb/brush, and sufficient towels. There is a hair dryer. No laundry machines but there are two laundromat options both 4 blocks away. Restaurants nearby. Quiet and safe street. 13-minute walk to Uguisudani JR train station.

No point in having a "kitchenette" if there is nothing there but a sink. There is an electric kettle but no outlet to plug it. You have to go into the bedroom area to plug it in on the floor. There are mugs but that's it. No plates or bowls or dining utensils. Therefore, no kitchen. Room next door is connected to my room with a door, and sound seeps through easily. Luckily neighbors were only noisy during the day but not during sleeping hours. If you have trouble going up stairs, there is no elevator. Not a big deal. No staff on the premises other than cleaning person in the morning/midday.

Great location, spacious enough for Tokyo, easy to check in and check out!

There is no lift and we were at top floor at a somewhat narrow staircase - not great for carrying bags. One door separated us from the neighbours room and we could hear everything and they were loud. Aircons blow directly at the faces of people when lying in the beds - it was very uncomfortable and hat to choose to wake up with congestion and sore throat or sleep at 30+ degrees I received a long message about how the room won’t be cleaned for free, only to find out someone had entered and provided cleaning and towel change one random day.
