By far the largest and most comfortable apartment we stayed in in Japan. The kids had their own room, there is a nice couch to curl up on and dining table to sit at. The cooking facilities meant we could cook ourselves a hearty breakfast before heading out for a day of exploring. Highly recommend!

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to central Asakusa, and about the same to the nearest train station. This didn't bother us as we quite enjoyed staying in a quieter area, but some might prefer to be closer to hustle and bustle. Prepare to navigate the train network if you want to see other parts of Tokyo like Shibuya, Shinjuku and Tsukiji market etc - we found this quite fun!

It was a close walk to Senso-Ji Temple and right next to the Asakusa area. less then a 5-10 min walk to delicious restaurants. We were also on the same street as the knife shopping sector so it made it easy for my husband to buy a great Japanese knife without having to go out of our way (same for some beautiful pottery we also purchased). It is a 15 min walk to the train station at Ueno which was easy to do and not a problem for us. We went with our 10 and 12 year old kids and this hotel is one of the few where we were able to ensure a separate bed for each of them in a room separate from ours. Everyone was able to sleep. The facilities were clean and updated and everything we expected and wanted. I loved the in room washer and dryer as we were able to start a load in the morning and come home later with everything dried!

Tastefully appointed and organized for efficiency. Amazing how functional the space is. Extremely comfortable beds - bunk beds, not so much. Washer/dryer, air conditioning, fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, hair dryer, iron, water heater, bidet toilet - useful amenities! The little dressing room adjoining the bath was just right, and if I'd known about the washer/dryer combo that works so well, I'd have taken fewer clothes! Would definitely stay again.

Listing is misleading. We thought we were renting an apartment with 4 beds, but it was a room with 2 beds, and a bunk bed. This isn't apparent from the listing, because there are 90+ pictures of every kind of apartment before you get to the ones that show the floor map of rooms :( Also, it's a bit of a walk to the train station. Front desk is not manned most of the time. There wasn't enough toilet paper for 4 people for one week, and there was no one at the front dest to ask for more. Same with bath towels, but the washer/dryer was useful in this regard.

Great space, nice bathrooms

This space is not very close to the public transits, there is a bit of walking to do but there is a large temple that is close by and the Sky Tree is relatively close. There are tons of places to buy kitchen items on the same street. Our sheets did have random bits of hair in it, not sure if the sheets were as clean as they could of been.

Clean, comfortable, great amenities (washer, kitchenette with microwave and fridge) that would have been useful if we stayed longer. Close to restaurants and convenience stores. A little walk to the nearest train station. Got 2 rooms. They were small, but we were able to fit 3 kids and 6 adults, and everyone had a bed or futon.

Check-in was confusing. From the online check-in to trying to figure out how to use the tablet to contact the concierge for getting room access (seemed like the concierge was not on site). The instructions were not very clear. Also, I'm not sure if the concierge is ever on site, so I wonder how to contact them if you need something other than checking in.

Very centrally located. Value for money. Easy check in and check out. Spacious room with all the amenities. Washing machine with the dryer, fully equipped kitchen two bathrooms( shower area separate so it was a blessing), iron for clothes. We were very happy with the place

The rooms had a window which touched the wall. There was no place between the window and the wall so feel a little confined

The place was very spacious, had great amenities. I really appreciated that it was well furnished, had a lot of hangers for clothes/laundry, plenty of surface space to put things, kitchen utensils/tools provided, full size fridge, and a scale is convenient if you want to weigh your luggage.

There wasn't a guide for the laundry machine or the hot water panel, which made showering unpleasant for a while. Check in was relatively straightforward, but I think I did have a bit of trouble bc I was coming in from a long day. The code to the front door is provided ahead of time if it's locked after hours, but you won't get your room code till you actually check in. Some guidance around taking out the trash would be nice for longer stays, but I managed fine.

Great location, supermarket was just a few minutes away, close by shopping for kitchen accessories and Sensoji Temple is 15 minutes walk. Quiet surroundings!

I wish there is a user guide for washer & dryer and stove. And I wish there were some extra trash bags in the room or front desk area, because we stayed for 7 nights no room service, every day we brought the trash to downstairs, I think it would be more efficient to everyone by just having two trash cans ( 1 regular trash 1 plastic materials) on each floor by the elevator. So people check in in on the first floor don’t have to see a lots of trash by the trash can, the only thing about this visit to Japan is very hard to find trash cans to dispose trash! Everything else is wonderful + wonderful! But like at home, every home has trash, we can live with trash for days and days. So I hope they will find a nice solution for this matter! Love love love Minn Apartment, they truely are Home away from home. The room is spacious for our family (2 adults + 2 children) with all the utilities we need. We love the Balmuda toaster. The area is very family friendly and quiet. They clean the rubbish everyday, just have to place the rubbish outside the door. Will definitely come back.
