Excellent hotel, with a simple check-in and check-out process. Rooms are small, as is typical in Japan. There’s space to store suitcases under the bed. We had small suitcases; in my opinion, it would be difficult to manage with large ones. Suitable for a couple for one or two nights. The shower is spacious and there’s always hot water. Great value for the price.
The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but it wasn’t too bad either.

Nice place, fun environment, comfortable clean and modern rooms.
Breakfast was small - a couple very small pastries, soups and coffee and tea.

This was a great hotel in a very nice area. Although the rooms are small we found them to be well equipped and comfortable. We especially liked that there was a common area where you could get coffee and tea for free and use it to have breakfast from a nearby convenience store. The area is very cute and full of restaurants and anything you need. We would stay here again!
The only things that were not ideal were that the window was very small and there was nearly no daylight - although this was not a big issue for us as we were out all day, and the pillows were a bit too small and hard, but that’s just personal preference I guess.

Great location. Lovely and stylish. Rooms are small but perfectly functional. Great choice of places to eat and drinks in the surrounding area. Minutes from Hoppy Street lined with eateries and the must see Senso-ji Temple. Asakusa is a much nicer place to stay than Shinjuku for example with a nicer atmosphere on a more human scale. Free coffee all day and pastries in the morning was a nice touch. You could also bring in beers or food from outside with microwaves available in a great common room area. The hotel is above a 24/7 Lawsons which was convenient for snacks, drinks or even meals. Staff were hard working, friendly and helpful.
There is a laundry but the driers were not the best so took ages to do the laundry.

Great location! The hotel is set back on a quiet side road but with plenty of interesting tourist sights nearby, as well as a plethora of decent restaurants and bars. The hotel itself was modern, the theme was fun, and there was a nice, casual vibe. There’s a social area that was more akin to a hostel (in a good way!) and I could’ve imagined it being a nice hub were I staying longer. Staff were friendly and helpful, but also discreet and unobtrusive, leaving you to enjoy your stay. I’d definitely go back!
The only small issues I had were the elevators were quite slow at times (important when checking out and going to the airport), and the breakfast a little light, but I cannot really complain as it was free! Also, the rooms had nice-sized beds and bathrooms for Tokyo, but they were a little cramped for two people (non-couple) sharing. The under-bed storage was very helpful for storing suitcases though. The window was tiny and had no view, so I’d say this is a hotel best suited for people who need to dip in and out while enjoying the city, rather than being in the room too much.

Great location with plenty to see and do. Plenty of transport links to key areas you may want to visit. The self check-in was extremely impressive and a fab time-saver. The staff are fantastic - so warm, friendly, helpful, and fun. The manga themed hotel has neon lights and a strong identity. Very contemporary aesthetic and fun to be in after a long day out. The air-con was a godsend in high heat. The walk-in shower was hot and powerful. The charging points and good quality hairdryer were very useful. The shared area is spacious and airy with some free drinks and pastries. There are manga books to read for free (Japanese text). There is a free luggage area with a huge amount of luggage stations. There is also a small inexpensive laundry (free detergent!) and a vending machine for drinks. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning staff were really friendly and great at their job. What a fantastic place. Thanks so much!
Not much! Just a few little things. With rooms as small as they are, it would be great to utilize the wall space with storage brackets and hooks. Despite the instructions, the air-con seemed tricky to operate at times. The sides of the bed being raised to bed height made it difficult to get out, especially with my mobility issues. The bed cover never stayed on - so slippery! Only one small pillow was a little inadequate and I sometimes had to add a jumper to it to raise my head. The dryers took many cycles to dry the clothes leaving some guests frustrated in the laundry room. A couple of food vending machines would be useful as there was nowhere to grab a very light snack. You had to be quick to get a pastry!

The vibe of this hotel was great. The lobby area was always bustling with tourists coming in and out. They have an area for eating and a free breakfast (pastries) as well a very good coffee. Our room was teeny, our twin beds touched the walls and each other BUT, it was incredibly well thought out, with nooks and crannies and ledges where they were helpful. I really liked the shower and the bathroom (which was about a third of the entire space). I would definitely stay here again in Tokyo because it was so low key and it felt, for lack of a better word, almost communal in the best way. The location was awesome, in Asakusa and just a couple of blocks away from Senso-ji temple. Also the Lawson's convenience store on the corner was stocked!
The room was a bit of a shock - tiny - but for the price we paid (About $100/night US) I can't complain too much. I also wished there was more availability/visibility of staff. When I had questions, I couldn't find someone to ask, either because I couldn't tell they were staff, or they weren't behind the desk.

The location is definitely a plus, as it’s conveniently situated near various attractions in the Asakusa area. The room is reasonably sized, even for two people. Backpackers will appreciate the coin laundry facilities, and the baggage storage areas are a great option for those with early check-outs and late flights. Additionally, the lobby offers free water and coffee, and the self-check-in and check-out processes are simple.
The hotel only has three elevators, and they’re always slow for some reason. They always stop at the lobby, which is on the second floor, and there are no stairs to get up or down. The beds and pillows are very hard to sleep on.

I had an amazing room on the 10th floor with a perfect view of the Tokyo tower which mesmerised me each night as I watched from my window. The hotel is located right above a Lawson's which sells the best fried chicken you can find for an early morning breakfast which you can eat in the hotel lobby which has lots of seating just for this reason. They have 4 cheap coin laundry and dryer machines which get the job done. You can see the status of the dryers from your TV in your room so you don't need to make the journey with all your clothes if they're all in use. There's a machine in the laundry room which can break down 1000 yen notes, and you can break higher value notes into 1000s at the front desk.
As I had a JR Pass I preferred to travel by trains, the closest station to the hotel is Ueno station which is a 20-30min walk in two straight lines. There are no breakfast facilities at the hotel you are instead offered a free selection of breads, which amounted to a pile of croissants.

The location of the hotel is superb!! Its very near to the airport limousine bus stop; there’s a Lawson and a supermarket nearby; its also near a 24hr Donki, a Uniqlo; near the train station; near Sensoji temple and the Sumida river (sakura area) and lots of restaurants around. The hotel staff were also very helpful with providing our needs like trash bags, pajamas and towels. The staff even helped my friend find a church and to book a taxi that will take her there and back to the hotel. They also give breads for breakfast and there’s always coffee available at the 2nd floor.
The rooms were very small, well typical I guess for Tokyo hotels. The beds were ok. The problem would be when you need to fix your luggages as there’s little floor space to move around.
