The location is amazing, in the heart of Askusa above a Uni Qlo store and a couple of restaurants. It is only a short walk, 10 minutes, to the subway. They have a little balcony with great views of Senso-ji temple and Tokyo sky tree. The staff we all lovely, very helpful and kind. Every evening they had welcome drinks so you could have a snack and a drink which was a nice touch.

Rooms are on the small side, but we managed!

Location is nice, near to Asakusa Sta., but beware there are two Asakusa Station, it may be confusing for the first time visitor.

Too little coined washing machines, almost always utilized. Water dispenser is outside of the room can be a little inconvenient as they only prepare a small bottle in room. (400ml)

We loved the grapefruit juice in a grapefruit, and fresh orange juice. Loved the afternoon drinks. The location was perfect.

Staff not real friendly. We felt like asking for help or questions was an imposition.

Excellent location! The ground floor of the hotel is Uniqlo. The location has many restaurants and it has 2 malls where GU is located. Don Quijote is just a walking distance from the hotel which is very convenient to all tourist. Train station is about 10-15 mins walk where you can transfer to other major train lines like JR line. We book 2 rooms for our family. And the triple room which we have, has a stunning view the “Sensoji Temple and Tokyo Sky tree Tower”. The hotel has a free coffee machine until 10pm only. Hotel has a laundry machine per floor. Just be ready to check or monitor on the tv screen for the vacant slot. Also prepare 100yen for the laundry. Staff are all friendly and can communicate well. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was clean and rooms are spacious.

Location of the hotel is next to Asakusa market and the famous Senso-ji temple. There are lot of eating joints and pubs in the vicinity of the hotel which are open till late night. Travel to Tokyo Station or Shibuya is convenient since Asakusa Station is at a walking distance from the hotel. Another bonus point, Asakusa Sta. (Asakusa Line) has direct train to Narita Airport at reasonable price (~Yen 1,300/ Pax) which takes around 1.5 hours.

Breakfast has very limited choices, and mostly continental. I was expecting taste of Japanese cuisine in the breakfast, which was missing (only 2-3 dishes were available). I may be having this expectation since I stayed in a hotel in Kyoto which had large variety of Japanese cuisine in breakfast.

We stayed in the Richmond Hotel for our first 3 nights in Japan. We were able to drop off our bags in the morning. We had a standard single room and a premier twin room. The twin room had a fantastic view of Skytree Tower and Senso-ji Temple - well worth paying extra for this view. It was easy walking distance of the Senso-ji Temple and other attractions, shops and train stations so a great place to stay to be able to see things. The beds were very comfortable after a long flight and the rooms were quiet. The receptionist was very helpful with sorting out sending our luggage onto a different hotel for later in our trip.

The entrance is a bit odd as you have to go up in a lift next to a Uniqlo store as the hotel reception is on the 5th floor.

Location is perfect for exploring around Asakusa with easy transportation to other part of Tokyo with several subway and train lines stations very near, even there's limousin bus to Haneda and Narita pickup point only 200m from hotel. The staff is very nice and helpfull, the room is clean with comfy bed. The room size is relatively spacious compared to many other hotel with the same rate. The breakfast tough not so huge varieety of dishes but they are all in superb quality

Nothing, everything is just perfect for me, sure will come back again when exploring more on Asakusa.

The rooms are small, and not really made for more than 2 people. The hotel has managed to squeeze a third bed in at the base of the other beds (which are each about a twin-and-a-half in width), so we were able to sleep a family of four with two teenage daughters into the room with the girls sharing one of the twin-and-a-half beds. But it is tight, and very little space to put luggage. However, we didn't spend much time in the room since we are out sightseeing all day, so it wasn't that big of a deal for us, and we would stay again for sure.

The location was the initial reason we chose this place. Near the center of Tokyo. Walking distance to plenty of shops and stations. Not too far from Senso-ji and Tokyo Skytree. A great area to wander around. The structure itself was very distinct, so it was also easy to find. When we checked in we enjoyed pretty much every aspect of this hotel. It was very much what was advertised. The staff was very accomodating and the interiors were well maintained. Spacious and clean. It was a great stay.

Although the building was easy to spot, finding the entrance gave us some difficulty.

Excellent location, super convenient, close to EVERYTHING, shopping, Senso-ji, restaurants, shopping, smack dab in the middle of all the action. I recommend walking to the Sumida river, there’s a promenade and also terrific boat tours that you can book online, very worth it. Excellent staff, friendly, sincere, accommodating. Amazing view of the temple and easy to get to Ueno station which gives you access to Yamanote line for convenient day trips. Terrific breakfast buffet, worth it. Highly recommend this place, seriously!

I didn’t like waiting for the laundry facilities. Only two machines on our floor, but people came from other floors to use them. It was the night before we checked out so it was inconvenient. Stayed up past midnight before I was able to wash our stuff. Hard to complain about anything else, it was a good price for all the conveniences.
