Convenient and simple, very helpful and sweet staff and the breakfast voucher was a big plus, as was the kitchen even though I didn't use it but it looked good. I was only there for one night and everything was handled smoothly. Very thankful for the luggage storage ability!

The bed was a bit too hard and the beds blocked the windows in the dorm room so there was not much natural light, so the room felt a bit sad and cramped.

Friendly staff & 24h reception. Clean bathroom & shower with free shampoo, soap & hairdryer. Perfect location (close to metro station, right around the corner from the lively asakusa, but still quiet at night). Good airconditioning you can change the intensity of yourself. Safe bagage storage room with camera's. We weren't sure about this but there is a common area which is also a café (but you can also bring your own food/convenience store food and eat it there). Hostel vibes (social, activities, ...). The rooms are nice and quiet even when there is a lot of noise in the common area/outside.

The lockers in the room are not close to the bed. The sockets are very close to the ceiling so not all chunky adapters fit.

Convenient to the Asakusa train station, including breakfast, social interaction with guests. Good and pleasant staff speaks English.

We had big luggage to take to the Narita airport. To get to Narita airport, you need to go to Shinjuku station to get to Narita Airport. Best to get your luggage 1 day ahead of time this is by either you organize luggage pick up/delivery with the accommodation staff (this may cost you more) or you organize yourself with the airport company service to pick up your luggage and deliver your next destination accommodation or deliver to Narita airport. This is because the Shinjuku station for example has no elevator due to maybe I guess construction work. You will end up taking the luggage through to the long steps and this can be stressful and painful.

Check-in worked without problems and the staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast with soup. My luggage could be stored on the day of arrival and departure. Good value for money and good location near Asakusa shrine.

The room was quite small for the number of people sleeping there. It was not as clean as in other hostels I visited in Japan, but still acceptable.

The comfort and vibe in the Hostel is very nice. The staff are all multilingual, in particular, Rie, who handled my check-in, was very understanding. If you're new to traveling in Japan or Tokyo in particular, I think you won't feel lost given their guidance. The dormitory-type room i stayed in had a very comfortable bed, large and spacious considering I'm a pretty big guy. I'm pretty sure for groups of people who would also like to interact with others, the common room provided just that - at that time though, a large group of tourists (choir?) was there so i didn't get much of that chance. Location-wise, it's close to a big shopping/entertainment district, so if that's your fancy, then this is a good spot.

It's probably because the Sumida fireworks were in that weekend and the hostel was jampacked, but the bathroom was just so-so. It could use a little bit more lighting, and the lock needs a bit of adjusting to fix.

I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which included unlimited toast, marmalade, cheese, soup, coffee, and tea—a great way to start the day at no extra cost. The common kitchen and refrigerator are well-equipped, giving you the freedom to prepare meals as you like. The location is excellent, with the Asakusa Temple just **300 meters away** and the metro within a **700-meter to 1-kilometer walk** in most directions, making it easy to explore the city. The shower and toilet facilities are clean, and the room has a properly functioning AC, though it can be a bit loud, especially if you’re on the bunk bed nearest to the door. Best of all, the price was the cheapest in the city at the time of my booking, making it an incredible value for the stay.

The bottom bunk bed is fine, but the upper bunk is shaky, especially if you move around a lot. The room offers minimal luggage storage, with small lockers only suitable for a coat or small backpack—bring your own lock. The charging setup is poorly designed, featuring just one awkwardly placed Japanese/American-style plug, forcing guests to pay 500 JPY (around 3 Euros) to buy or 1000 JPY (about 7 Euros) to rent a converter. This lack of consideration for international travelers is frustrating, especially since simple solutions like individual adapters with extensions could have been provided. Adding to the confusion, the basement is labeled as the first floor (1), which is misleading.

You can't possibly beat the position, slap bang in the middle of Asakusa, IMHO one of the best neighbourhoods to stay at. Fairly large beds with curtains, six floors with elevator, common area feels lively to hang around/work from remote w lounge music in the background, side by side to a kitchen area which tho not ample is well stocked with the usual deal of crockery&cutlery.

Breakfast is included however a tad poor, sliced bread&marmalade/margarine, tea/milk/coffee (plus a bonus veg soup) and that's it; at least a couple cereals/yoghurt addition would make it nice.

What I liked about the hostel was how close it was to public transportation and tourist spots like Sensoji Temple and Skytree. The staff were attentive and accommodating and we loved the wide variety of breakfast options. The elevator was a great help for us too! Almost forgot to mention, but the price was a total steal.

What I didn’t like about the hostel was the lack of bread toasters. When it got busy, other guests would steal my toast that I had been patiently waiting for. Something that really bothered me was seeing men go into the women’s bathroom and it didn’t just happen once, but twice! The room itself was okay, a bit rough with the paind peeling off the walls, but nothing too bad. I just wish our room had been closer to the bathroom because at night we had to run across the whole floor since we were the farthest away. Another thing I didn’t like was the dining area. When it got crowded, it was really hard to move around because there were just way too many chairs packed in.”

The staff was super helpful when my son lost an item in a taxi cab. They really went the extra mile calling the taxi cab company for us, and the item was returned by the driver. The room was clean and there was air conditioning throughout. My family booked a quad for the three of us and the private room was nice and comfortable and enough room for us to comfortably hang out with Luggage open and a couple of chairs. The bunkbeds were comfortable. The pillows were a little firmer than what I was used to, but it was fine. The shared bathroom down the hall was also fine. Everything was clean and well stocked. The shower had liquid soap and shampoo in it. The bathroom was rarely in use when I was going to use it so it didn’t really feel that much like a shared bath. The breakfast was simple but fine. There was always bread to toast with margarine and marmalade and strawberry jam. You could pay ¥350 ( about $2.50) and order scrambled eggs which were very tasty. There was a soup every morning. One type wasn’t my style but the other, the vegetable soup, was really nice in the morning. I loved having a nice healthy breakfast that included vegetables. There were some nice herbal teas as well in the morning. There is a water cooler for filling, water bottles, and a couple of pictures with ice and lemon with the water. The location was great. It’s near the temple that is so famous as well as near a lot of restaurants and stores. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the subway station. The neighborhood felt safe and we had no problem walking even after 11 PM.

No complaints! It was a nice spot at a reasonable price and it’s managed well. It was a great choice for our family and there were people of all ages there.
