The location was great! Real close to the Senso-ji temple (literally can see it out the window in the living room on the 8F) and the Nakamise Shopping Street. In a pinch, you could go to the 7/11 about a block away. A lot of restaurants in the area. The bathrooms were very clean. Internet was very fast; didn't feel like it was slow by any means, especially with everyone there.

My friends and I stayed in the private room with 3 beds. For some reason, I could not figure out how to use the remote for the AC system. English is my primary language so it was difficult to understand each time I tried to translate it on Google Translate. It came with instructions but didn't understand what was displayed on the screen. As I kept pushing buttons, I got the AC unit to blow air.

The location is perfect. Asakusa is 2 minutes away from the hostel. The cleanliness was very good. The room was very comfy, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept very well. The view from the hotel's kitchen was nice. The kitchen was pretty big, and all utilities were available. The owner of the hostel is a friendly man. Staff member Mr. Miyasaki is hospitable and great to have conversations with.

There is no AC or fan in the elevator. It was always very hot, and it smelled like sweat. The toilet and bath are always clean, but they smell bad because men do not aim properly when urinating; urine is around the toilet, and the fan is not effective. It smells especially bad in the summer. The kitchen was very hot, and they always kept the AC at a very low temperature. When I was working during the day, I didn't feel comfortable. I talked to the staff about it, but they didn't do anything. Their washing machines and drying machines do not work properly. I don't recommend it to use it. I spent 1000 yen on them, my clothes were not in good condition. Never use it.

This Guesthouse is in one of the best locations that one could hope for. It is perhaps 30 meters from Sensōji temple, one of Tokyo's most important areas, and the pagoda and main temple buildings are easily visible from the top floor shared lounge area. See photo! Not only that, but the local area of Asakusa, by the Sumida River, is a beautiful downtown area with lively bars, delicious restaurants and many other facilities (public bath houses aren't too far away).TenTen staff have always been friendly to me whenever I have a question or want a recommendation, and the rooms are all clean and comfortable. Perhaps the best thing about this guesthouse is the communal atmosphere, with many backpackers from around the world - some staying for a few nights and some staying for weeks at a time, using the great location and facilities of this Guesthouse as a base of their travels. I've made a few good friends here during my stay. There are two lounge areas which are great for kicking back and relaxing, but for those introverts who wish to simply have a quiet stay, this too is no issue!

Fantastic location that was about a ten-minute walk to the metro. There were many attractions and places to eat right outside the hostel. The upper floor was nice as a working space and had wonderful views of the temple. The wifi was great for working. The staff was very friendly. They had free slippers and the place was quite clean. The sleeping area was great and felt overall quite private. There is a space you can store some belongings inside, a little shelf, a place to charge and lighting.

I wish the hostel would have told people to take a pair of slippers so that people would not wear their shoes all around. The place was cleaned, but since it is a hostel, you can be subjected to guests who don't understand they need to flush a toilet or not leave their clothes all over the common area (not the fault of the hostel whatsoever). The room would get quite hot, and the AC wasn't strong enough. Part of the issue is that the privacy curtains are heavier, which is good, but since they are heavy, it blocks out the AC.

The location itself was accessible. Although, the train station is quite far. You have to carry your luggages and pass by sensoji-temple. Check-in and check-out was quite fast too. The roomies are quite nice too. One guy was handsome but I forgot to ask his name 🙃 It’s nice that they have volunteers for the guesthouse. One was a neat-freak which is nice. I just left but I miss the place already. Will come back again.

Most of the guest don’t even know cleanliness. Someone forgot to flush the toilet, leaving their debris out in the open. I have to flush it and even clean it. The bed was quite squeaky and thin walls. You can hear the people shifting and moving. All of my roomies are men, it was awkward at first since some are changing in front of me. One guy was just wearing a towel. The room also smells like feet. Hot and stuffy too when you close the curtains all throughout. Some of the volunteers were gossiping while cleaning. Even overheard how their night went with their date😂

It was cozy and pretty friendly people who stay there. I liked the big kitchen and the sleeping area is quite spacious and handy to keep your belongings. I have also found the air conditioning temperature is ok in general so even when I was sleeping, it kept decent. As I have experience of not well air-conditioning hostel which I have found quite uncomfortable, Ten Ten guesthouse was quite nice that the air-conditioning was on all day.

The bathrooms and showers were little uncomfortable to use but I understand that you cannot expect a perfect situation.

Excellent location.

Absolutely no flexibility from the staff. Leaving luggage there until 6pm on check out day would have resulted in 500¥ fee.

When we booked the hotel it was rated a 7.7 and it has since jumped up to an 8.3, which leads me to believe that the rating fluctuates pretty regularly. We were skeptical of this accommodation because of the average to low rating, but were pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it was. The location was extremely convenient yet still quiet and comfortable despite being only a few minute walk to senso-ji, which attracts hundred of tourists daily. The ac was nice and cool for the september months, and the volunteers at the hostel were very helpful. The receptionist helped us check in even despite us arriving past check-in time, albeit only by 10 minutes. Tenten exceeded every expectation I had and, for the location and comfort it provides, it is an absolute steal.

The rooms were a bit small, but that's to be expected. The shared bathrooms could also have done with more frequent cleanings throughout the day. Having one unisex bathroom is a bit strange and something I may have had more of a problem with if we hadn't stayed here during the off season and the bathrooms had seen more use and been busier.

Right across from SensoJi temple 5 minutes walk to 711, 15 minutes walk to Asakura subway station I got the private room for me and my 14 years old and the room cleani the room space was fine. Ac works well shared bathroom was spotless clean. Can't comment on the comun area since l didn't use them, but they were clean and quiet Also, when checking out, you can leave your bags in a storage area until you need to leave Area is safe we walk at night no issues To enter the building, you get a code and for the room a key.

The elevator is very small and fast.

We had a private room that was pretty comfortable, location is great, you are just next to the temple, a lot of options to eat around, and direct metro line to go to Narita Airport! It was clean and comfortable, with a laundry available, filtered water and a lounge space, WiFi was fast - great for working. All instructions were clear. The only thing is that our room was just next to the bathroom and people often used a noisy hairdryer after midnight or early in the morning 🥲 Overall it’s a great value and I’d recommend this place! Thank you 🙏🏻
